GAZA: VITAL QUESTION IS LEADERSHIP

by Felix Quigley

The issue of leadership is very sharply posed in front of all Jewish and Serbian people. It is essentially the same struggle and the same problems of leadership which both face.It is quite impossible for Jews in Israel to win in any shape or form behind the present leadership of Olmert Livni and Barak.

The situation has not changed since I wrote this a few days ago:

WHAT ISRAEL MUST DO

The first thing that Jews in Israel must do is through revolutionary action get rid of the present traitorous Government of Olmert, Livni and the Labourist Barak, who in every sense are the tools of the US and EU Imperialisms, and of the Palestinian Arab Islamofascist Jihad against Israel.

And as part of this strike against these traitors a new leadership in alliance with a new leadership in the IDF must issue a call to the whole world stating its position clearly.

Nasrullah and the Fascist Hizbullah have stated just 2 days ago they will destroy Israel. Israel should tell the world this is war and act accordingly. While holding a defence against Gaza Israel must move its army up the Laetani River valley, cut Hizbullah off at that point, issue a call for civilians to move out safety totally guaranteed, then it is all out war with Israel using EVERY means to destroy its Fascist enemy.

All those who have appeared on Israpundit Kosovo Independence Opposers list must be asked to vocally support this Israeli move against Fascism (Islamofascism variety). If they do not their names must be thoroughly exposed.

Having won this war against Hizbullah, with the US warning Iran to stay clear, then Israel must declare war on Hamas and Al Aqsa Brigades, (the armed wing of Abbas’s Fatah). Israel must move its forces in along the Philadelphia Corridor as a very first move, hold it by all means, issue a call to the whole world that Hamas has declared its intention many times to destroy Israel, and that Israel is at war with Hamas to the end. Civilians must be invited to leave into the Sinai and the transition will be entirely guaranteed safe. After a set time as with Hizbullah it is all out war in which Israel will use every method at its disposal to destroy and wipe out its enemy.

Israel having defeated these 2 enemies must make a call to the US: Are you NOW prepared to join us in destroying the Iranian Nuclear Bomb which action is distinct to an attack on the Iranian people. This point must be stressed. If the US is not then every political organization in the US must be asked to take a position. Israel must tell the world that to save its people it is at war with the Iranian Mullahs and must also call on the youth and workers of Iran to support the Jews of Israel. Then Israel with its new revolutionary leadership must destroy the Iranian bomb making facility by whatever means are necessary.

Note that I never said or meant that this should be taken in a particular order, but these are the issues that have to be addressed, and they all depend on leadership

I believe that Israel is hamstrung by its present leadership. It is a march against time. This present leadership in Israel must be replaced without any delay. There certainly are the leaders present in the Israeli situation which are able to meet the challenge posed in the above, the defeat of Hizbullah, the defeat of Hamas and a revolutionary strike against, not the Iranian people, but against the Iranian Nuclear Bomb.

Postscript

I placed the above suggestions for action on the website Israpundit in the form of a comment. I really might not have bothered. Nobody even acknowledged the points I made.

 To give Yamit82 his due he did reply in a most negative manner on this site. He wrote in this comment:

Shalom Felix,

Questions? More than Half of all Israelis would oppose such a move in the North without the corresponding physical attack!

There would be the danger that both Iran and Syria could intervene widening the conflict!]]The whole of the Arab League sesuing Israeli vulnerability might join as well especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan currently very unstable might offer to provide nuke unbrella to protect Iran and Saudis.

The EU will go nuts as well as USA. All options would then be a possibility then of foreign intervention by the West like NATO!

Even without Embargoes our Economy could be destroyed in the process. To fight such a war we would need mobilize most of Reserves which would mean half million away from Jobs for who knows how long?

What if the Only option in taking out Irans Nukes is to use tactical Nukes to do the Job?

This is enough for starters ans. these and I will have more

Nice going Felix!

I do not think it is possible to get more negative than that. I replied to Yamit 82 and he did not get back.
The central question remains though and it is one of leadership being intensified now in Israel by the virtual war between Israel, Hamas and Abbas’s Fatah (There is no difference between those two)

    My friends of 4International whom have written in the past on Israpundit, fully and unconditionally support your call for action against the Islamofascist enemies of Israel.

    I ask that you add my name as well as the following individuals whom I am in contact with giving 100% full support to your call for immediate military action to save the Jewish state of Israel from her Islamofascist enemies:

    Max Rosenthal
    Nathan Pearlstein
    Shlomo Baum
    Peter Robert North
    Andrew Brookes
    Dave Brookes

    Dear Joshua

    This proves that the struggle can start and that human intervention is possible.

    I have just placed a short comment on Israpundit.

    “Norman F

    Israel will sooner than later reoccupy Gaza. The death of the so-called two state solution is merely a matter of time

    I disagree with this approach most strongly and though not Jewish (I don’t see why that matters) I have the interests of the Jewish people at heart.

    If you think this then why should we not all sit back, do nothing and watch things just evolve.

    This is a form of fatalism. It can just as easily unfold somewhat like this: The Israeli ruling class along with US and EU Imperialism work consciously to create conditions of total chaos, and in those conditions invite the forces of NATO to come in and police Gaza, Judea and Samaria. On the backs of NATO, as has happened all over Yugoslavia, Fascists will carry out a programme of ethnic cleansing, in this case against Jewish settlers, who are isolated and spat upon by the Israeli ruling class of Olmert.

    It is the same issue as the shooting of Jews in the Atalena affair.

    You also are very badly mistaken in referring to the Olmert ruling class as the “Israeli Left”. They have nothing in common with revolutionary socialism. They are more a creation of Stalinism and of Social Democracy in the peculiar conditions of Israel. There is in fact a history of intense difference between Trotskyism and these forces whom you call the “Israeli Left”.

    I will supply the url for this later.

    I am not sure if this comment is being held for moderation. In any case there is a situation now on Israpundit which is most serious.

    The differences are these:

    Yamit 88 and this poster Norman are keeping referrring to “Israel” in the abstract. I do not see how this can hold water.

    You are Jewish Joshua and perhaps I can have your opinion. To me being non Jewish Israel is no more an abstraction than is Ireland. It is made up of classes and the class which is in power is the Israeli capitalist class; and the whole point is that it is this Israeli ruling class which is setting out to create an historical betrayal of the Jews.

    I believe that they are in fact intent on creating conditions of total chaos, and in these conditions of chaos and huge danger to the people of Israel, this ruling class is working with US Imperialism to bring NATO in to control Judea and Samaria, and on the backs of NATO the Islamofascists of Fatah (Abbas) and of Hamas will move in to murder, decapitate as in Kosovo and Bosnia, ordinary defenceless Jewish peolple.

    Some abstraction that.

    What is becoming more clear by the minute is that the whole Judaic establishment in Israel is totally bankrupt and in fact the reference which our old political adversary Bill Narvey made on Israpundit to this truthful fact is truer to the mark than any of them.

    I would also draw your attention to the reply which the verbose Yamit88 made to my comment. I have not got a clue what it all means. I will come back to that tomorrow.

    I thank you from the bottom of my heart Joshua for what you have done above..Felix

    See if you can understand what Yamit is saying

    I wrote to Yamit on #12

    Yamit82

    You write among many things

    What would the world do if Israel ceased its supply of all electricity and fuel…stopped all goods from entering Gaza and declared an embargo of Gaza? In addition, Israel would declare a 20 mile free-fire zone; a zone in which all targets would be considered with no regard to the civilian populations.

    Why do you not address this to the present traitors who compose the Government of Israel? They are the ones who are running the show.

    When you talk about Israel you have to accept that there is a present problem. Israel is led by traitors.

    So your writing is meaningless unless you can explain how the present Olmert Government be forced from power. And what Government will then replace it.

    This is the gist of Yamits reply

    start quote here

    “Felix like most Jew I will try to ans. with a question or a Question through a story:

    Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks) is known as the holiday marking the giving of the Torah, not the holiday marking the acceptance of the Torah. Giving the Torah was indeed a matter for weeks; for it to be accepted, dozens or even hundreds of years had to pass, and some say – it still hasn’t been really accepted.

    Giving the Torah was a one-time act, a ceremony. It isn’t a process; it was a miraculous event, an act of Divine grace bringing together the time, the people and the conditions that were right for the gift, the inspiration, the great Heavenly grant, the insertion of spirit into body, of soul to flesh and blood. Theories of history can do no more than go around in circles, explaining the conditions and circumstances of the recipients, but they can never use rationality or explanations to penetrate the revelation, the giving.

    Historians are good at explaining a posteriori the necessity in events. But with hindsight they cannot explain the events at Mt. Sinai. And the factual emphasis on the “giving” as opposed to the “acceptance” proves there is no point in talking about a “ripening of conditions” or a “necessity of circumstances” or a “link in a chain of events.”

    An act of genesis is at the basis of the entire description of the giving of the Torah. It isn‚t the continuation of a chain of events but the breaking of a chain, a breaking that that cannot be explained with words from our sociological or historical vocabulary.

    All the events of the hundreds of years that followed were no more than an immanent accepting of the previous transcendental giving. The judges and kings and prophets fought among themselves and with their nation for the acceptance of the Torah. This battle is subject to analysis and research and explanation, just as is everything in nature that followed the first moment of Genesis.

    The secret of this genesis is also the secret of many other phenomena. It is the secret of the beginning of life, of true poetry, of the birth of ideas. Doctors can see all the secrets of pregnancy and birth but only the secret of the original life of the seed – is still a deep secret.

    Therefore one does not decide on ideas. Ideas are given by revelation and they exist. You decide and fight for their acceptance, to spread them or allow them to penetrate. Therefore Mt. Sinai was held over the heads of the nation during the giving of the Torah [in the legend in which Israel was offered a choice between the Torah or being buried under the mountain], because the Torah is not the result of evolution, during which all the right conditions were quietly and calmly prepared till the bodies were ready and eagerly awaiting it. It is always a revolution, meaning something coming in opposition to what the nation is ready for and consciously desires.

    Now, from the world of the Torah in general to one part of it: sovereignty.
    In the past few generations, only a few extraordinary prophets taught sovereignty, gave the Torah of modern Hebrew sovereignty.

    But great is the distance from this new revelation to its acceptance. And apparently it, too, must pass through two stages: first the stage of being forced upon the people from above, and only afterwards, the stage of learning it from below, from inside.

    And if you want to know where we stand today on our journey through the desert, let it be told: we are standing before the golden calf.

    To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: {P}

    2 {S} A time to be born, {S} and a time to die; {N}
    {S} a time to plant, {S} and a time to pluck up that which is planted; {N}
    3 {S} A time to kill, {S} and a time to heal; {N}
    {S} a time to break down, {S} and a time to build up; {N}
    4 {S} A time to weep, {S} and a time to laugh; {N}
    {S} a time to mourn, {S} and a time to dance; {N}
    5 {S} A time to cast away stones, {S} and a time to gather stones together; {N}
    {S} a time to embrace, {S} and a time to refrain from embracing; {N}
    6 {S} A time to seek, {S} and a time to lose; {N}
    {S} a time to keep, {S} and a time to cast away; {N}
    7 {S} A time to rend, {S} and a time to sew; {N}
    {S} a time to keep silence, {S} and a time to speak; {N}
    8 {S} A time to love, {S} and a time to hate; {N}
    {S} a time for war, {S} and a time for peace. {N}
    9 {S} What profit hath he that worketh in that he laboureth?
    10 I have seen the task which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised therewith.
    11 He hath made every thing beautiful in its time; also He hath set the world in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end.
    12 I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to get pleasure so long as they live.
    13 But also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy pleasure for all his labour, is the gift of God.
    14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever; nothing can be added to it, nor any thing taken from it; and God hath so made it, that men should fear before Him.
    15 That which is hath been long ago, and that which is to be hath already been; and God seeketh that which is pursued.
    16 And moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.
    17 I said in my heart: ‘The righteous and the wicked God will judge; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.’
    18 I said in my heart: ‘It is because of the sons of men, that God may sift them, and that they may see that they themselves are but as beasts.’
    19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them; as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that man hath no pre-eminence above a beast; for all is vanity.
    20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all return to dust.
    21 Who knoweth the spirit of man whether it goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast whether it goeth downward to the earth?
    22 Wherefore I perceived that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his works; for that is his portion; for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

    end of quote

    Our aim must be to create a United Front of all those who are opposed to the Independence of Kosovo and opposed to the creation of an Islamist Palestine state, ie the 2 states approach.

    A United Front means the developing of a discussion on the way forward and thereby the building of a revolutionary leadership. It is important that within this United Front while we unite against the enemy there is the sharpest airing of political differences that there is possible to be. Some people may take it personally but we have to educate people that this is a political necessity and there is nothing personal at all involved. The best will of course understand this very well. The best I mean inside the Jewish AND Serbian movements of resistance to Imperialism.
