HOW THE MEDIA HID THE ALLIANCE BETWEEN IZETBEGOVIC AND KHOMEINY

Israel is today facing the most serious danger and the greatest struggle for its existence as it is threatened by Islamofascism which is promoted by US and British Imperialism.

Here on 4international we have proved conclusively using factual reports from the excellent DEBKAfile that US Imperialism is really an ally of Islamofascism, and is in an alliance with Iran against Israel, something which may indeed cause a huge and further Holocaust of the Jews in Israel.

See for example

But this alliance between British and US Imperialism with Islamofascism, especially with Iran, need not be a surprize at all to Jewish people. It was all laid down in the alliance which they the US Imperialists struck up with the Muslim Brotherrhood Nazi Eliah Izetbegovic throughout the 1990s in Bosnia, and against the Serbs.

So on the day following the arrest of Serb patriot Radovan Karadzic by Serb Quislings and paid Serb agents of US Imperialism, along with Imperialist George Soros and Human Rights Watch, the following study by Carl Savich is very timely:

Khomeini and Izetbegovic: Islamic Radicals

The U.S. media and government falsified and distorted the public image of radical Islamic ultra-nationalist Alija Izetbegovic. U.S. media infowar techniques portrayed Izetbegovic as a second Mustafa Kemal Pasha Ataturk, a modern, moderate, pluralistic, secular Muslim statesman. But, in reality, Izetbegovic denounced and rejected Ataturk. Instead, Izetbegovic identified with Iranian leader and Islamic cleric Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

In 1992, at the start of the Bosnian civil war, Alija Izetbegovic made an official state visit to Iran, staying in Tehran for two days in discussions with Iranian government, military, and religious leaders. The official state visit was described in a New York Times story. “Bosnian Threatens Poison Gas Against Serb Forces” from October 31, 1992:

The President of Bosnia and Herzegovina said today that his Bosnian Muslim forces had poison-gas weapons and might be forced to use them as a defensive measure against Serbian forces.

‘Bosnian Muslims live under very difficult conditions,’ the Bosnian leader, Alija Izetbegovic, told Iranian television at the end of a two-day official visit to Teheran. ‘If the current situation continues, the people of Bosnia will be forced to use poison gas to defend themselves and end the crimes committed by the Serbs, even though this may be against their true wishes.’

Mr. Izetbegovic did not specify how the poison gas had been obtained, but added that his forces had the chemicals in Bosnia.

At a ceremony in which senior Bosnian leaders placed a wreath on the tomb of the leader of Iran’s Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Mr. Izetbegovic thanked Iran for its ‘overall support’ to Bosnia and stressed the need for fuel and food, with the approach of winter. …

In September, Croatian officials intercepted 40 Iranians and a planeload of arms on a Boeing 747 at Zagreb airport. The plane, officially on a mission to deliver ‘relief supplies’ to Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, contained 4,000 guns and more than a million rounds of ammunition. An Iranian security official who did not want to be identified said the 40 Iranians had been dispatched to Bosnia on a Government salary of $4,000 a month. ”

The Ayatollah Khomeini grave and shrine is located south of Tehran, the Iranian capital. The shrine is a massive religious complex and building site. The gravesite consists of blue domes and four golden minarets and dormitories constructed for Muslim pilgrims. 05_hilsum_blog_500

When worshippers come to honor the legacy of Ayatollah Khomeini, called the Imam, the founder of the Iranian Islamic Republic, they partake in a religious ceremony that begins with a revolutionary song and with uniformed guards laying a wreath at Ayatollah Khomeini’s tomb.

The Khomeini shrine complex is near Behesht-e Zahra, has hallways that are 330 feet long, four minarets, a subway connection, shops, a post office, a restaurant, snack bars, a bank, and a 20,000 car parking lot.

Izetbegovic had more in common with Ruhollah Khomeini than he did with Kemal Ataturk. Izetbegovic rejected the secular model that Ataturk founded and espoused in The Islamic Delaration (1970; republished, 1990):

“Turkey as an Islamic country used to rule the world. Turkey as an imitation of Europe represents a third-rate country, the like of which there is a hundred in the world.”

Instead, Izetbegovic championed the Iranian model, the Ayatollah Khomeini model.

Izetbegovic argued that Muslim populations should take control and destroy non-Muslim states when Muslims are a majority:

“There can be neither peace nor coexistence between the Islamic faith and non-Islamic social and political institutions … The Islamic movement must and can, take over political power as soon as it is morally and numerically so strong that it can not only destroy the existing non-Islamic power, but also to build up a new Islamic one.”

From December 9-11, 1997, Izetbegovic attended an Islamic conference in Tehran, Iran where Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei denounced the U.S. and the West, as reported in the New York Times in “Iranian Leader Denounces West at Islamic Conference”, reported by Douglas Jehl:

“Tehran, Iran—Iran opened a world Islamic conference Tuesday with a harsh denunciation of the West, urging Muslim countries to resist what it called ‘persistent and cunning enemies’ led by the United States and Israel. Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the main threat to security in the region was not his own Islamic government, as many in the West assert, but ‘the poisonous breath’ of the United States and its military presence …”

The U.S. media and government engaged in a disinformation and propaganda campaign regarding Izetbegovic’s ties to Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini, and Islamic religious fundamentalism and Islamic radicalism and ultra-nationalism. The facts speak for themselves. Izetbegovic made an official state visit to Iran in 1992, again in 1993 during the height of the Bosnian civil war, in 1997 to attend an Islamic conference in Tehran, and in 1999. The U.S. media and government had covered-up the Iranian connections to Bosnia, and those between Khomeini and Izetbegovic.

[Additional note by Felix Quigley]

We are delighted to be able to publish this excellent study.

All of this material, it must be remembered, has been assiduously concealed from the public by especially the British Media, not least the collection of reactionary cranks who have gathered together on the Imperialist Harry’s Place.

With the help of Carl Savich we place it on record on 4international as the beginning shots in our campaign to defend Radovan Karadzic from the wolves of the NATO run Hague Kangaroo Court. As our friend Neil Craig pointed out they lost the case against Serb patriot Slobodan Milosevic, then poisoned him, that must not be allowed to happen to Serb Patriot Radovan Karadzic.
