It appears that both Obama and McCain were in bed with this Palestinian Nazi Khalidi. This throws the whole roten politics of Belman and Levinson over at Israpundit into the dung heap.
For months they have been using the Khalidi connection to lambast Obama on a daily basis. But what now that events show that McCain was in the same reactionary, antisemitic Us Imperialist boat.
On a broader lever…The question which this US election has posed is why should the Jewish movement and Israel be an ally of US Imperialism.
We know for a fact that the US tried to sabotage the setting up of the state of Israel. It did this in a cunning, underhand and sneaky way because the great friend of the Jews has always been the American people. Note, the American people not the American ruling elite.
We on 4international say that Israel and the Jewish people must break from US Imperialism and must strike closer bonds with the ordinary masses of American people.
Concretely this means in this US election that Jews must vote for NEITHER McCain or Obama.
But they should use the occasion of the election to campaign on unity between Israeli and American workers and ordinary people against the Nazi Palestinian and Arab leaders.
THE TRUTH…The running mate of Obama has sided with Fascists in Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo and in Georgia. Biden has a record of total treachery on that score. So of course Obama in choosing Biden associates himself with that. Obama is an Imperialist choice.
However, along with Biden in the Balkans stood McCain and Lieberman.
It is the massive dishonesty of Belman on Israpundit that gets right up our nose. In order for Belman and Israpundit writers to support McCain and Palin they have to consciously obscure this record in the Balkans.
But there is another record even closer to home.
Bush is the man who was the very first president to call for a Nazi type Palestine state to “exist” alongside Israel, in fact and in all honest reality to make war on Israel.
That is the McCain and Palin policy. It is also the Obama policy.
Belman has lost the thread in this election. No longer does he speak as a Jewish man, he speaks as an advocate of a wing of US Imperialism. And you know the analogy of a football team. Sometimes a team plays up one side of the field, sometimes it tries the other side but it is still the team of US Imperialism which is the enemy of the Jewish people.
So what about his Khalidid man…The position of 4international towards Khalidi is that he is a representive of a movement founded by the Nazis in association with British and US Imperialism.
Now it appears that McCain may have had a close association with Khalidi, not just Obama.

This afternoon McCain’s campaign had Drudge post their demand that the LA Times release their video of a banquet Obama attended in honor of Rashid Khalidi. Background provided by Ben Smith here:
In a stunning development, HuffPost’s Seth Walls has uncovered that McCain himself has an extensive relationship with Khalidi, including providing his group with hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money. For some strange reason, Drudge pulled his Khalidi story shortly after the HuffPost article appeared. I think McCain’s camp is running scared- please either rec this diary or have Kos post the HuffPost article. This is one attempt at race-baiting that will blow up in McCain’s face.

During the 1990s, while he served as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), McCain distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center co-founded by Khalidi, including one worth half a million dollars.
A 1998 tax filing for the McCain-led group shows a $448,873 grant to Khalidi’s Center for Palestine Research and Studies for work in the West Bank. (See grant number 5180, “West Bank: CPRS” on page 14 of this PDF.)
The relationship extends back as far as 1993, when John McCain joined IRI as chairman in January. Foreign Affairs noted in September of that year that IRI had helped fund several extensive studies in Palestine run by Khalidi’s group, including over 30 public opinion polls and a study of “sociopolitical attitudes.”
(The writer on this reactionary rag of a website Dailykos adds the following, showing that it too is on the side of the Nazi Palestinian movement, but anyway it is doing this to expose the hypocricy of the McCain camp)
Update 1: Some commenters have suggested that I point out that there is nothing wrong with Khalidi, who appears to be well within the mainstream of Palestinian political thought. I would emphasize that I’m neither criticizing nor vouching for Khalidi- I’m simply pointing out the hypocricy of John McCain. Those who want to learn more about Khalidi may read some of the comments below.

So Levinson and Belman have exposed the Obama links to Khalidi. Quite right too, we did so ourselves. But what about McCain. Will they now expose that McCain too had links with this Nazi?
If they have any of the real interests of the Jewish people at heart then I think there can be only one answer to that.
We await here on 4international a serious answer to that.
