These issues are very important and it is very notable that Obama seeks to distort the true history of these religions and the real differences between Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
In the following message from Obama there are so many distortions, and the obvious one is that Obama is hiding the real Jihad, against Israel, against western enlightenment values, and he is making Islam out to be simply a religion and a culture.
In the Biblical story Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Isaac, which was seen as a test from God.
That is the story. It is incompatible completely with the story or narrative of Mohammed.

Yet again, their narrative is plagiarized and just plain wrong! Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac according to G-d’s instruction to test Abraham’s willingness to listen to G-d and heed His instruction. G-d, in His mercy, provided a ram stuck in the thicket for Abraham to sacrifice in Isaac’s stead. This is recognized by Jews and Christians according to the Torah/Tenach/Bible/Old Testament.Muslims pervert this verse, plagiarize and claim it as their own history with one glaring exception. Abraham’s wife, Sarah, could not conceive, without G-d’s intervention, so Abraham “had relations” with Sarah’s handmaid, Hagar. Ishmael, father of all Arabs, was the issue of the illicit union between Abraham and Hagar. He was a literal bastard. (not that it means anything to be one anymore, but it did up until very recently, historically speaking.) The Koran has Abraham offering Ishmael, rather than Isaac, as the sacrifice, ushering in the longest sibling rivalry/grudge match in mankind’s history!
