One of the features of the Livingstone friendship with Qaradawi is their falsification of Jewish history. In fact this lies behind all of the present Fascist Left approach to contemporary issues involving Islam. I came across this excellent historical survey (ends in 2008)

C. 17th Century BCE
  • The Patriarchs of the Israelites, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bring the belief in One God to the Promised Land where they settle.
  • Famine forces the Israelites to migrate to Egypt

Documents unearthed in Mesopotamia, dating back to 2000- 1500 BCE, corroborate aspects of their nomadic way of life as described in the Bible. The Book of Genesis relates how Abraham was summoned from Ur of the Chaldeans to Canaan to bring about the formation of a people with belief in the One God. When a famine spread through Canaan, Jacob (Israel), his twelve sons and their families settled in Egypt, where their descendants were reduced to slavery and pressed into forced labor.

C. 13th Century BCE
  • Moses leads the Israelites from Egypt, followed by 40 years of wandering in the desert.
  • The Torah, including the Ten Commandments received at Mount Saini.

Moses was chosen by God to take his people out of Egypt and back to the Land of Israel promised to their forefathers.  They wandered for 40 years in the Sinai desert, where they were forged into a nation and received the Torah (Pentateuch), which included the Ten Commandments and gave form and content to their monotheistic faith.

During the next two centuries, the Israelites conquered most of the Land of Israel and relinquished their nomadic ways to become farmers and craftsmen; a degree of economic and social consolidation followed. Periods of relative peace alternated with times of war during which the people rallied behind leaders known as ‘judges,’ chosen for their political and military skills as well as for their leadership qualities.

C. 13th – 12th Centuries BCE

The Israelites settle the Land of Israel.

C. 1020

  • Jewish Monarchy established.

The first king, Saul (c. 1020 BCE), bridged the period between loose tribal organization and the setting up of a full monarchy under his successor, David. King David (c.1004-965 BCE) established Israel as a major power in the region by successful military expeditions, including the final defeat of the Philistines, as well as by constructing a network of friendly alliances with nearby kingdoms.  David was succeeded by his son Solomon (c.965-930 BCE) who further strengthened the kingdom.  Crowning his achievements was the building of the Temple in Jerusalem, which became the center of the Jewish people’s national and religious life.

C. 1000

  • Jerusalem made capital of David’s Kingdom.

C. 960

  • First Temple, the national and spiritual center of the Jewish people, built in Jerusalem by King Solomon.

C. 930

  • Kingdom divided into Judah and Israel.

After Solomon’s death (930 BCE), open insurrection led to the breaking away of the ten northern tribes and division of the country into a northern kingdom, Israel, and a southern kingdom, Judah, on the territory of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin.

The Kingdom of Israel, with its capital Samaria, lasted more than 200 years under 19 kings, while the Kingdom of Judah was ruled from Jerusalem for 350 years by an equal number of kings of the lineage of David. The expansion of the Assyrian and Babylonian empires brought first Israel and later Judah under foreign control.

722 – 720

  • Israel crushed by Assyrians; 10 tribes exiled (Ten Lost Tribes).

586

  • Judah conquered by Babylonia; Jerusalem and First Temple destroyed; most Jews exiled to Babylonia.

The Babylonian conquest brought an end to the First Jewish Commonwealth (First Temple period) but did not sever the Jewish people’s connection to the Land of Israel.  The exile to Babylonia, which followed the destruction of the First Temple (586 BCE), marked the beginning of the Jewish Diaspora. There, Judaism began to develop a religious framework and way of life outside the Land, ultimately ensuring the people’s national survival and spiritual identity and imbuing it with sufficient vitality to safeguard its future as a nation.

536-142

  • PERSIAN AND HELLENISTIC PERIODS

538-515

  • Many Jews return from Babylonia; Temple rebuilt.

Following a decree by the Persian King Cyrus, conqueror of the Babylonian empire (538 BCE), some 50,000 Jews set out on the First Return to the Land of Israel, led by Zerubabel, a descendant of the House of David.  Less than a century later, the Second Return was led by Ezra the Scribe.

The repatriation of the Jews under Ezra’s inspired leadership, construction of the Second Temple on the site of the First Temple, refortification of Jerusalem’s walls and establishment of the Knesset Hagedolah (Great Assembly) as the supreme religious and judicial body of the Jewish people marked the beginning of the Second Jewish Commonwealth (Second Temple period).

332

  • Land conquered by Alexander the Great; Hellenistic rule.

As part of the ancient world conquered by Alexander the Great of Greece (332 BCE), the Land remained a Jewish theocracy under Syrian-based Seleucid rulers.

166-160

  • Maccabean (Hasmonean) revolt against restrictions on practice of Judaism and desecration of the Temple

When the Jews were prohibited from practicing Judaism and their Temple was desecrated as part of an effort to impose Greek-oriented culture and customs on the entire population, the Jews rose in revolt (166 BCE). First led by Mattathias of the priestly Hasmonean family and then by his son Judah the Maccabee, the Jews subsequently entered Jerusalem and purified the Temple (164 BCE).

142-129

  • Jewish autonomy under Hasmoneans.

Following further Hasmonean victories (147 BCE), the Seleucids restored autonomy to Judea, as the Land of Israel was now called, and, with the collapse of the Seleucid kingdom (129 BCE), Jewish independence was again achieved.

129-63

  • Jewish independence under Hasmonean monarchy.

Under the Hasmonean dynasty, which lasted about 80 years, the kingdom regained boundaries not far short of Solomon’s realm, political consolidation under Jewish rule was attained and Jewish life flourished.

63

  • Jerusalem captured by Roman general, Pompey.

63 BCE-313
CE

  • ROMAN RULE

37BCE – 4CE

  • Herod, Roman vassal king, rules the Land of Israel;

 20-23

  • Ministry of Jesus of Nazareth

66

  • Jewish revolt against the Romans

70

  • Destruction of Jerusalem and Second Temple.

132-135

  • Bar Kokhba uprising against Rome.

210

  • Codification of Jewish oral law (Mishnah) completed.

313-636

  • BYZANTINE RULE

By the end of the 4th century, following Emperor Constantine’s adoption of Christianity (313) and the founding of the Byzantine Empire, the Land of Israel had become a predominantly Christian country. Churches were built on Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Galilee, and monasteries were established in many parts of the country. The Jews were deprived of their former relative autonomy, as well as of their right to hold public positions, and were forbidden to enter Jerusalem except on one day of the year (Tisha b’Av – ninth of Av)to mourn the destruction of the Temple.

614

  • Persian invasion

The Persian invasion of 614 was welcomed and aided by the Jews, who were inspired by messianic hopes of deliverance. In gratitude for their help, they were granted the administration of Jerusalem, an interlude which lasted about three years. Subsequently, the Byzantine army regained the city (629) and again expelled its Jewish population.

636-1099

  • ARAB RULE

The Arab conquest of the Land came four years after the death of Muhammad (632) and lasted more than four centuries, with caliphs ruling first from Damascus, then from Baghdad and Egypt. At the outset of Islamic rule, Jewish settlement in Jerusalem was resumed, and the Jewish community was granted permission to live under “protection,” the customary status of non-Muslims under Islamic rule, which safeguarded their lives, property and freedom of worship in return for payment of special poll and land taxes.

However, the subsequent introduction of restrictions against non-Muslims (717) affected the Jews’ public conduct as well as their religious observances and legal status. The imposition of heavy taxes on agricultural land compelled many to move from rural areas to towns, where their circumstances hardly improved, while increasing social and economic discrimination forced many Jews to leave the country. By the end of the 11th century, the Jewish community in the Land had diminished considerably and had lost some of its organizational and religious cohesiveness.

1099-1291

  • CRUSADER DOMINATION

For the next 200 years, the country was dominated by the Crusaders, who, following an appeal by Pope Urban II, came from Europe to recover the Holy Land from the infidels. In July 1099, after a five-week siege, the knights of the First Crusade and their rabble army captured Jerusalem, massacring most of the city’s non-Christian inhabitants. Barricaded in their synagogues, the Jews defended their quarter, only to be burnt to death or sold into slavery. During the next few decades, the Crusaders extended their power over the rest of the country, through treaties and agreements, but mostly by bloody military victories. The Latin Kingdom of the Crusaders was that of a conquering minority confined mainly to fortified cities and castles.

When the Crusaders opened up transportation routes from Europe, pilgrimages to the Holy Land became popular and, at the same time, increasing numbers of Jews sought to return to their homeland. Documents of the period indicate that 300 rabbis from France and England arrived in a group, with some settling in Acro (Akko), others in Jerusalem.

After the overthrow of the Crusaders by a Muslim army under Saladin (1187), the Jews were again accorded a certain measure of freedom, including the right to live in Jerusalem. Although the Crusaders regained a foothold in the country after Saladin’s death (1193), their presence was limited to a network of fortified castles. Crusader authority in the Land ended after a final defeat (1291) by the Mamluks, a Muslim military class which had come to power in Egypt.

1291-1516

  • MAMLUK RULE

The Land under the Mamluks became a backwater province ruled from Damascus. Akko, Jaffa (Yafo) and other ports were destroyed for fear of new crusades, and maritime as well as overland commerce was interrupted. By the end of the Middle Ages, the country’s urban centers were virtually in ruins, most of Jerusalem was abandoned and the small Jewish community was poverty-stricken. The period of Mamluk decline was darkened by political and economic upheavals, plagues, locust invasions and devastating earthquakes.

1517-1917

  • OTTOMAN RULE

Following the Ottoman conquest in 1517, the Land was divided into four districts and attached administratively to the province of Damascus and ruled from Istanbul.

1564

Orderly government, until the death (1566) of Sultan Suleiman the Magificent, brought improvements and stimulated Jewish immigration.  Some newcomers settled in Jerusalem, but the majority went to Safad where, by mid-16th century, the Jewish population had risen to about 10,000, and the town had become a thriving textile center as well as the focus of intense intellectual activity. During this period, the study of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) flourished, and contemporary clarifications of Jewish law, as codified in the Shulhan Arukh, spread throughout the Diaspora from the study houses in Safad.

A United Nations decision to station a UN Emergency Force (UNEF) along the Egypt-Israel border and Egyptian assurances of free navigation in the Gulf of Eilat led Israel to agree to withdraw in stages (November 1956 – March 1957) from the areas taken a few weeks earlier. Consequently, the Straits of Tiran were opened, enabling the development of trade with Asian and East African countries as well as oil imports from the Persian Gulf.

As a result, the northern villages were freed from 19 years of recurrent Syrian shelling; the passage of Israeli and Israel-bound shipping through the Straits of Tiran was ensured; and Jerusalem, which had been divided under Israeli and Jordanian rule since 1949, was reunified under Israel’s authority.

1968-1970
1973

Three years of relative calm along the borders were shattered on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), the holiest day of the Jewish year, when Egypt and Syria launched a coordinated surprise assault against Israel (6 October 1973), with the Egyptian army crossing the Suez Canal and Syrian troops penetrating the Golan Heights.  Two years of difficult negotiations between Israel and Egypt and between Israel and Syria resulted in disengagement agreements, according to which Israel withdrew from parts of the territories captured during the war.

LIVINGSTONE REPRESENTING THE FASCIST LEFT…QARADAWI AND LIVINGSTONE…THE FASCIST LEFT AND ISLAM

DURING THE RECENT ELECTION TO LORD MAYOR OF LONDON MUCH CAME OUT ABOUT LVINGSTONE AND QARADAWI

It was from the British Telegraph newspaper and the reporter was Aislinn Simpson (21 Apr 2008)

Ken Livingstone defended his decision to share a platform with a homophobic Islamic preacher as he and his challenger, Boris Johnson, were neck and neck in the race for the capital yesterday

Yusuf al-Qaradawi has described homosexuality as an “unnatural and evil practice” and said the Koran permitted wife-beating in certain circumstances.

The Qatar-based Egyptian cleric has also advocated the use of Palestinian children as suicide bombers and once claimed that Asian tsunami victims were punished by Allah because their countries were centres of perversion.

But speaking on BBC1’s Politics Show yesterday, the London Mayor insisted he was right to welcome the cleric to City Hall as an “honoured guest” in July 2004. He said that while he did not agree with some of his views, al-Qaradawi did not support terrorism against the West. “He is a man who is prepared to say al-Qa’eda is wrong and to be very strong in that condemnation,” he said.

Mr Livingstone’s liberal approach to controversial figures such as al-Qaradawi has won him a friend in Azzam Tamimi, a Palestinian supporter of Hamas, which is dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

SOME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT LIVINGSTONE AND HIS LINKS WITH THIS FASCIST LEFT IN BRITAIN AND IRELAND WHO LINE UP WITH QARADAWI…

BECAUSE IN LINING UP WITH THE QARADAWI MONSTER THEY WERE ALSO LINING UP WITH ALL THOSE WHO WERE FOR THE MURDER OF JEWS IN ISRAEL

The following revealing extract is also from The Telegraph and is by Nick Allen (16 Apr 2008)

A Palestinian apologist for suicide bombing is among the leaders of a group trying to win Muslim votes for Ken Livingstone in the London mayoral election.

Dr Azzam Tamimi, a supporter of Hamas which is dedicated to the destruction of Israel, is part of a group called Muslims 4 Ken which is aiming to mobilise hundreds of thousands of Muslim voters to help re-elect Mr Livingstone for a third term on May 1.

A website set up by the group vilifies Mr Livingstone’s Conservative opponent Boris Johnson, portraying him as an Islamaphobe.

It states: “Boris Johnson would be a disaster for London.

QARADAWI AND LIVINGSTONE…THE FASCIST LEFT AND ISLAM

THE REALLY PECULIAR POSITION OF LIVINGSTONE TOWARDS ISLAM WAS SHOWN IN THE FOLLOWING EXTRACT. THERE WAS MUCH COMMENT ON THIS AT THE TIME

Now I wonder if anyone will ask Ken about his views of what his friend Sheikh Qaradawi said here about the Holocaust in this sermon last Friday which was aired on Qatar TV?

The governments must be pressured to demand that the U.N. adopt a clear resolution or law that categorically prohibits affronts to prophets – to the prophets of the Lord and His messengers, to His holy books, and to the religious holy places. This is so that nobody can cause them harm. They enacted such laws in order to protect the Jews and Judaism. Like some Danes have said: ‘We can mock Jesus and his mother.’ They were asked: ‘Can you mock the Jews?’ Here they stopped. The Jews are protected by laws – the laws that protect Semitism, and nobody can say even one word about the number [of victims] in the alleged Holocaust. Nobody can do so, even if he is writing an M.A. or Ph.D. thesis, and discussing it scientifically. Such claims are not acceptable. When Roger Garaudy talked about it, he was sentenced to jail, according to the laws. We want laws protecting the holy places, the prophets, and Allah’s messengers.”

Roger Garaudy is of course one of the most notorious of Holocaust deniers, whose claims inter alia that the gas chambers did not exist have repeatedly been demonstrated to be pseudo-scientific nonsense.

We all know that Ken regards the Holocaust as “the worst crime in history”.

So what does he think about his friend Sheikh Qaradawi only regarding it as alleged? And what does he think of his friend suggesting that no-one is allowed to question the number of victims? And of his choice of Roger Garaudy as his reference point?

ABOVE can be found on http://adloyada.typepad.com/adloyada/2006/02/ken_livingstone.html

This small paragraph, an extract from much more, is enough to show the irony involved in Livingstone defending Qaratawi:

Dr al-Qaradawi sanctions domestic violence in certain circumstances.

“If the husband senses that feelings of disobedience and rebelliousness are rising against him in his wife, he should try his best to rectify her attitude by kind words, gentle persuasion, and reasoning with her. If this is not helpful, he should sleep apart from her, trying to awaken her agreeable feminine nature so that serenity may be restored and she may respond to him in a harmonious fashion. If this approach fails, it is permissible for him to admonish her lightly with his hands, avoiding her face and other sensitive areas.”

ISLAM ANTISEMITISM AND INVOLVEMENT OF LEFT FASCISTS LIKE LIVINGSTONE/INDYMEDIA

THE FOLLOWING QUATATION FROM A BBC ARAB INTERVIEW WITH THE NOTORIOUS QARADAWI, FRIEND OF KEN LIVINGSTONE

When Peres visited Qatar after the Qana massacre, I delivered a sermon, in which I said that those who shook hands with Peres should wash their hands seven times, one of those times in dirt.

QARADAWI, FRIEND OF LIVINGSTONE AND ALL OF THE FASCIST LEFT OF TODAY, GOES ON:

[…]

I supported martyrdom operations, and I was not the only one. Hundreds of Islamic scholars supported these operations. When the Islamic Jurisprudence Council convened in Kuwait, hundreds of scholars signed their names to a fatwa [supporting such operations]. This is a necessary thing, as I told them in London. Give the Palestinians tanks, airplanes, and missiles, and they won’t carry out martyrdom operations. They are forced to turn themselves into human bombs, in order to defend their land, their honor, and their homeland.

Interviewer: Sheik Al-Qaradhawi, I’d like you to explain this point calmly, if possible. Does this necessity justify the killing of civilians in such operations?

Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: The [Palestinians] has been making sure that civilians are not killed. They always look for concentrations of soldiers. If a civilian is killed, it is not intentional.

Interviewer: So your position is different when these operations take place in places with civilians, like markets, right?

Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: They didn’t mean to do this, and in any case, they are not infallible. Mistakes can happen.

[…]

I will not sit down with anybody who approves of Israel. I have refused to participate in any Jewish-Christian-Islamic dialogue. I welcome Christian-Islamic dialogue, but if a Jew comes into it, I say that I will not sit on the same podium with a Jew who recognizes Israel.

THIS CHRISTMAS DAY 2010…THE HARD REALITY OF ISLAMIC CRUELTY IN IRAQ FACING IRAQI CHRISTIANS

The so called “Left” has become a “Fascist Left” and there are antecedents for this in the Hitler movement

Nothing shows this better than the silence or even support on Indymedia Ireland for the horrific Jihad against the Christian Arabs of Iraq

We have the great good fortune however to have great and consistent fighter against Jihadist Fascism “Jihadwatch” and this article is from there:

Christmas requiem for Iraq’s Christian community

slaughter of the innocents.jpg
Slaughter of the innocents. “Christmas requiem for Iraq’s Christian community,” by Zvi Bar’el for Haaretz, December 24 (thanks to AINA):

In order to meet Iraq’s Christians this year, Santa Claus will have to steer his sleigh to Jordan, Syria, Kurdistan or Europe. After Al-Qaida’s October 31 massacre at a central Baghdad church, thousands of Christians have decided that their homeland is no longer safe. […] “Contacting the authorities forces us to identify ourselves, and we aren’t certain that some of the people threatening us aren’t the people in the government offices that are supposed to be protecting us,” one Christian Iraqi told the newspaper Sawt al-Iraq. Others have reported masked men coming to their homes at night and demanding that they “convert to Islam, leave or die.”

Though the Iraqi authorities have posted security forces at churches in major cities, community leaders have decided they will celebrate Christmas Eve only the following afternoon, and are calling upon Christians to celebrate in modest home ceremonies and not to be overly visible in the streets….

Iraqi Christians also have serious complaints about U.S. President Barack Obama, who they say is not doing enough to protect their rights. Vice President Joe Biden has indeed condemned the murder of the Christians in Baghdad and has called upon the new Iraqi government to protect its minorities, but beyond that it does not appear the administration is able to do anything to stop the attacks.

Representatives of the Iraqi Christian community fear that this Christmas will not only be a memorial for the 58 killed in the Baghdad church, but will also mark the loss of the country’s Christian minority as a whole. Nassir Sharhoom, 47, who fled last month to the Kurdish capital, Erbil, told The New York Times: “It’s exactly what happened to the Jews. They want us all to go.” In the meantime, it appears that “they” are on the way to achieving their goal.

Kosovo’s Organized Crime Burden

Dec 20, 2010

By Ioannis Michaletos | In Kosovo, the main managers of illicit drugs are the so-called “15 families,” which represent the core power of the region, because of their financial clout and political connections.

In a 67-page report published in 2005, BND (German intelligence agency) analysts concluded that there is “close interaction between the leading members of the Kosovo-Albanian society and the domestic and international underworld currently domiciled in Pristina.” Moreover, “the criminal networks don’t support the creation of a stable political and economic environment, since that will reduce their clout.”

What is more interesting is the attest by BND of the “direct involvement of political figures in Kosovo with the Mafia.” Thus, the crime kingpins “want to acquire elevated positions within the apparatus of the provisional government and influence directly the politicians.”

The German analysts warned for “serious risks from the ongoing corruption in Kosovo in relation to other Balkan countries and the security of the region.”

An E.U. report in 2007 underlined the “inability of local officials to put pressure on criminal organizations and the serious risk of collapse of the social system because of the crime issue.” The main reason is “the lack of political will by the leadership,” which paradoxically is supported by most major European countries. The German report specifically mentioned the name Niam Behzloulzi, a Kosovo smuggler and a number two in the hierarchy of the former UCK.

The Italian newspaper La Republica reported on the Kosovo criminals of their ability to fully exploit the lack of “political culture” in the region and affect every key decision over and above the international force, which does not control the situation. The current leadership under Hashim Thaci is to emerge from the unholy alliance of traffickers in the region and the UCK. Michel Koutouzis, an expert analyst on security issues in Paris has long confirmed that the Pristina government has always been “subject to the power of the Mafiosi who were the largest donors of the KLA rebels and want to keep the region in their own sphere of influence.”

The former Commander of KFOR, the Italian General Fabio Mini, said in late February 2008 in the newspaper Corriere dela Serra, “Kosovo will become the new location for the laundering of black money coming from the East, and new financial institutions will be created that will take this role.” Similar reports have been made by the Canadian General Mackenzie, who served in Bosnia as peacekeeper official and has dealt closely with the situation in the Balkans over the last decade.

Reliable and highly informed sources at the Institute for European Policy based in Germany, in a 2007 report commissioned for the German Armed Forces, indicated that the three leading Kosovo politicians, Ramush Haradinaj, Hashim Thaci and Xhavit Haliti, are “persons protected by the international community although they are deeply involved in all of these affairs.”

It is important to mention at this point that the German report states that the U.N. contacts with Albanian politicians were part of the overall problem for the region. The infamous Wikileaks website has leaked dozens of U.N. reports dealing with high-level corruption in Kosovo that involves international employees from 1999 up to the present.

Local sources, including U.S. military personnel, indicate that at least 90 percent of the local economy derives from criminal networks—excluding Diaspora remittances and international assistance—and the society is unable to adapt into the conditions of a free and legal market because of the dramatic social consequences that would entail.

Presently, unemployment is estimated at 45 percent of the working-age population. Further, population increases with 35,000 births per year, more than three times the average Western European rate. The explosive mixture of crime, lack of employment opportunities and a significant youth segment in comparison with the total population is a ticking bomb that will explode in the not-so-distant future.

A very important report of the United Nations in 2006, in collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Britain, Netherlands, the United States and Sweden, revealed that “the people of Kosovo find as main threats to themselves corruption and organized crime” as well as the very likely possibility of a “full seizure of the state institutions by criminals.”

An issue directly associated with the European security architecture is the strong collaboration between Turkish, Kosovo and Middle Eastern narcotics smugglers. Already in 2000, according to Interpol Kosovo criminals, illicit profits of 2 billion euros were laundered through more than 200 banks. The current data show much higher earnings, and this without considering the investments in the building sector, the purchase of shares and other activities.

Marko Nicovic, the former chief of police in Belgrade and a recognized Balkan crime analyst, noted some years ago in the press that “about 500 Kosovo Albanians assume transport of 20 kilos of heroin across to Europe, while another 5,000 Albanians deal with lesser quantities.” In a Pan-European level perhaps two-thirds of the heroin sold in the streets is being distributed by Albanian criminal syndicates that are mostly established in Kosovo.

Between the Kosovo cities of Pec, Priznen and the city of Bayram Kouri there is an almost daily connection referring to the illegal narcotics trade and the arms trade, which is a main cause for alert for the international authorities because of the alleged existence of Islamic extremists that may want to take advantage of the market weaponry that has been created there.

Over the past three years a new phenomena has been observed by the international authorities, and that is the human trafficking from Kosovo to Greece via FYR Macedonia. It is estimated that smugglers charge 3,000 euros per head in order to organize a transfer from Kosovo to Greece, and they have formed an extensive network of collaborators including taxi drivers, small transport companies and corrupt border officials.

A Jane’s Intelligence Review report revealed that in May 2007 a group of 19 people were arrested in FYR Macedonia that were responsible for the transfer of more than 100 people and charged 5,000 euros for the services per person including the forgery of an entrance visa and the transportation with a taxi for the whole ride. Furthermore an international security operation apprehended another 16 Croatians and two Bosnian citizens who were related with the previous group, and they were responsible for managing the transportation of immigrants from the Central Balkan region.

It is estimated that in Skopje a nascent market for forged passports is being created. For instance, in July 2007 17 Kosovo Albanian immigrants were arrested carrying fake Swedish passports on their way to that country, which they bought for approximately 4,000 euros. Further throughout most of 2009, the Greek police authorities noted a considerable increase of illegal immigration by incoming Kosovo-Albanians through the axis Tetovo-Krusevo-Bitola and onwards to the northern Greek mountainous borders.

In relation to the drugs issue, according to the Italian journalist Roberto Saviano, in an interview in 2009, the Albanian mafia in Kosovo chiefs “dream” about turning the province into “a European Colombia.”

“In order to achieve this, they wish to genetically engineer a type of coca plant that would grow in Kosovo’s climate. In this way, the Albanian mafia would have a monopoly over the cocaine trade. They need 20 years to achieve this,” he said, and added that “then, Kosovo will without a doubt become the new Colombia.” The explosive mixture of massive caches of weapons, widespread poverty, contraband culture and the strong hand of the local drug kingpins ensures that.

The Kosovo experience has been a great disappointment for the international community. Kosovo in reality struggles against the influence of the organized crime networks. Despite numerous acts of violence and a very high homicide rate, very few convictions have been handed out to culprits, and none to notable members of the organized crime either.

Nowadays the existence of regular heroin supply from Afghanistan, and the control by the “Albanian Mafia” of the Balkan route, has enabled it to obtain a large capital base that is laundered mainly though the construction sites in Kosovo and Albania and the use of offshore financial centers. Actually the largest enterprise in terms of sales and profits in South Eastern Europe is the Albanian organized crime, and in an overall picture that is unfortunately the case for other neighboring states that derive a large portion of their GDP from similar activities.

Kosovo is in a very delicate position regarding its role as a European crime hub, and the efforts of the international community over the past decade have been in the wrong direction. The subversive nature of organized crime has either been dismissed or not understood by the countless international bodies that were supposed to assist the democratization process in Pristina.

THE CHOICE IS JEWS MUST LIVE ALONE OR ISLAM WILL DESTROY ISRAEL

A recent post on Israpundit and other sites refers to present position of very famous historian Benny Morris.

The position of Morris is also the position that 4international holds towards the Jewish struggle for Israel, but it has much wider implications

Morris does a number of things:

1. Morris sees this struggle as historical. He sees it in a historical perspective. This is key. I am amazed at the numbers of people who do not see politics and life historically.

2. Morris points out that in November 29, 1947, the Arabs of Palestine were offered an Arab state and they refused it. The offer was from the United Nations General Assembly vote, and it was in anticipation of the British decision to withdraw in the following year of 1948

3. The idea was that there would be an Arab Palestine state, and a Jewish Palestine state (meaning Israel), and they would be living and coexisting (helping each other) side by side

4. THE ARABS REJECTED THIS, WENT TO WAR WITH 5 ARMIES, LEFT THE UN ASSEMBLY THREATENING BLOODSHED AGAINST THE JEWS

5. In that war the Arabs were defeated, hence the 700,000 refugees. These refugees have now become with their descendents 8 millions. This is the key factor. Both Abbas and Hamas are insisting on the return of these 8 millions. But the total area is about the size of Munster. These refugees are being used to bludgeon the Israeli state out of existence. Morris makes the point that these 8 millions are being used to win that war which was lost in 1948. You cannot do that!

Now from Morris we as a Trotskyist movement take it up. The issue at bottom is that the Jews are on what the Muslims of the world see as Muslim Lands.

This is why the Jewish struggle in Israel, latest for example against Forest Fires set by Arab terrorist Jihadist Warriors etc, are at the forefront of the overall struggle against Islamic Fascism

You can say that we are over-reacting here!

But they said the same thing on a wide scale about Hitler!

There are many Chamberlains waving pieces of paper in the political situation today! Many!

Iran is very like Hitler in one respect. Not the people, but the forces of Islam in Iran, seek clearly to destroy Israel. Hitler sought clearly to destroy Jewry.

There is a very serious underestimation of Iranian Islam taking place today.

It boils down to this. Can you change the mind of Iranian leaders re Israel by dialogue.

Think that through! If you are a Jew living in the threatened area of Israel would you DEPEND on dialogue? Should you as a Jew be asked to!?

AND NOW THIS LATEST!

AT ONE STROKE IRAN IS NOW INDEPENDENT FROM RUSSIAN URANIUM. IT IS MINING ITS OWN URANIUM DUST. THAT IS THE VERY MATERIAL FOR PLUTONIUM WHICH IS THE MATERIAL FOR A H-BOMB. THAT H-BOMB IS AIMED AT TEL AVIV!

We on 4international are Trotskyist. THIS IS WHERE TROTSKY AND THE PRINCIPLES OF TROTSKY WRIT LARGE COME RIGHT INTO THE MODERN PICTURE.

Study Trotsky towards Fascism in the 1920s on through the 1930s especially. There is the secret to everything. There is a mine of information as to how to fight against Fascism today. There is the emphasis on action, not talk. (Leon Trotsky contemplated moving the Red Army to depose the Nazis in thye critical year of 1933)

The situation is critical. 4international is now branching out and is beginning a website called “We Defend Israel” and this will be underway immediately, posing in very detailed and concrete terms how Israel can be saved from definite destruction if changes are not made immediately among all Jews. BUT MORE, AMONG ALL WORKERS IN THE WORLD AND REMEMBER HERE THAT WORKERS IN SPAIN IN THE AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY WERE ORDERED BACK TO WORK, THEIR COMPUTER SCREENS, BY THE HATED GUARDIA CIVIL OF FRANCO JUST 3 NIGHTS AGO

REMEMBER FOLKS OUT THERE…AT THE POINT OF A PISTOL!

That is why we on 4international make changes in our practice. This site will now go into Trotsky’s writings in a way never done before

And this site 4international rest assured will continue, so keep tuned in, sign up as stated to have articles mentioned on your own email address.

The new site is

www.wedefendisrael.wordpress.com

There will be articles on it from tomorrow Wednesday

I BELIEVE THAT THESE FIRES IN ISRAEL ARE THE WORK OF MUSLIM ANTISEMITES (JIHAD)

We join with Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs in our consternation of these huge fires in Israel, remembering that Israel is a very small country, about the size of Munster

5,000 acres torched in flame

Tirat Carmel, Haifa neighborhoods evacuated as giant blaze threatens homes in northern towns. Firefighters say Israel will probably not be able to battle fire on its own, authorities counting on help from abroad

Residents of the northern city of Tirat Carmel stood shocked before a wall of flames Friday, after some 5,000 of their neighbors had already been evacuated from their homes. Firefighters are still trying to fight the massive forest blaze that overtook northern Israel Thursday evening and claimed the lives of some 40 people, with the Jewish National Fund declaring that nearly 5,000 acres had already gone up in flame. Authorities in Haifa say they do not believe Israel can overcome the fire on its own, and it appears the state is counting on outside help. “Six planes, each carrying six cubic meters of extinguishant, could put an end to this crazy fire,” Haifa Firefighters said.

The first to respond to Israel’s cry for help was Greece, and one of the country’s planes landed at the Ramat David base overnight. It is expected to fly into action soon. A Bulgarian mission, a plane carrying a hundred firefighters led by the country’s deputy foreign minister, is also at ready. Overnight more than 15,000 people were evacuated from their homes, with flames reaching the entrance to the Druze village of Isfiya as well as an IDF prison evacuated earlier.

The Greek plane, the first of four which are expected, brought much needed fire retardant supplies and additional firefighting forces who will join Israeli fire crews battling the uncontrolled Carmel forest fire.

UPDATE: 11:47 pm: Unconfirmed reports of 66 casualties.

UPDATE: Channel 2 (Israel) reports that the fire simultaneously started this morning in 3 separate locations.

Arson likely
Channel 2 reporter Yossi Mizrachi said that the way in which the fire spread indicated that the blaze erupted from three locations simultaneously — making arson a likely possibility.

Deadliest fire in Israel’s history leaves 40 dead. Netanyahu describes fire as a “catastrophe the likes of which we have never known”; appeals to Russia, Italy, Greece and Cyprus for help; declares national day of mourning for victims CiF Watch

Northern Israel was in a state of emergency on Thursday night as the deadliest fire in Israel’s history, in the Carmel Forest near Haifa, brought life to a halt in communities near the blaze. As the blazing fire, which started running wild on Thursday (Dec. 2) afternoon, continued spreading in the Carmel Forest near Haifa (northern Israel) annihilating over 750 acres, a bus carrying as many as 50 passengers overturned en route between kibbutz Beit Oren and Damon Prison, allegedly after the driver lost control of the vehicle because of the fire and surrounding smoke. 40 people have been killed and ten were injured. There are reports that Carmel Hospital may have to be evacuated.

The IDF allocated all of its resources on Thursday to assist the Fire and Rescue Service in battling the blaze.  The IDF Home Front Command had established a command post near the scene of the blaze and was coordinating relief efforts together with the Northern Police District. The IDF sent the Northern District Police Commander, IAF helicopters, hundreds of soldiers from local education bases, tens of medical crews including medics and doctors as well as medical supplies and two army battalions to help put out the fire and carry tanks of water.

There are only 1500 firefighters in Israel and the nation has run out of flame retardant chemicals. Respondin

There are few things to equal the terror and horror of a wildfire that sweeps into communities. If these are found to have been set by Jihadists they should be considered acts of war. Didn’t they do this to Greece a couple years back?

Yes, and as I recall, the media studiously hid this most crucial point about it. That was unspeakable. (One cellphone-rigged incendiary backpack that had failed to detonate was actually found in some woods. The other backpacks apparently did detonate).

And how do you suppose *this* forest arson will be *whitewashed* to shield jihad?

And who will be next?

Kenya is only 10% Muslim, but is becoming steadily more Islamized

ODINGA IS OBAMA’S COUSIN, AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT, SINCE WE DO NOT GET TO CHOSE OUR RELATIVES, OBAMA CAMPAIGNED FOR HIM…

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 28 – Prime Minister Raila Odinga has ordered a nationwide crackdown on homosexuals in Kenya. Mr Odinga on Sunday said that police should arrest anyone found engaging in such behaviours and take appropriate legal action against them.

“We will not tolerate such behaviours in the country. The constitution is very clear on this issue and men or women found engaging in homosexuality will not be spared,” Mr Odinga said.

“Any man found engaging in sexual activities with another man should be arrested. Even women found engaging in sexual activities will be arrested,” the premier warned….

“This [homosexual] kind of behaviours will not be tolerated in this country. Men or women found engaging in those acts deserve to be arrested and will be arrested,” he told the crowd….

A move by Uganda to introduce a Bill calling for long jail terms or death penalty in some cases of homosexuality received international condemnation, with US President Barack Obama describing it as “odious”.

He said: “But surely we can agree that it is unconscionable to target gays and lesbians for who they are, whether it is here in the United States or… more extremely, in odious laws that are being proposed more recently in Uganda.”

But notwithstanding Obama’s remarks, homosexual acts are now illegal in Uganda and attracts jail terms of up to 14 years in prison.

READ THE WORDS OF THIS HORRIBLE SONG AND REALIZE THAT OPPOSING ISRAEL = ANTISEMITISM

You must remember that Israel is in the very front line of the fight against this hateful Islamic ideology:

“PA TV broadcasts song calling for Jihad against Israel: ‘Draw your sword, let it not return,'” by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook for Palestinian Media Watch, November 30:

Official Palestinian Authority television has broadcast a song calling for Jihad and violence against Israel. The PA TV program on culture included an interview with singer Amar Hasan, and the playing of his song: “The oppressors [Israelis] have gone too far. Therefore Jihad is our right… draw your sword.” The words call for violence against Israel in the name of both Arab pride and Islam. […] PA TV is controlled by the office of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Following are the lyrics of the song:

“My brother! The oppressors [Israelis] have gone too far.
Therefore Jihad is a right, and self-sacrifice is a right.
Shall we let them steal the Arab nature –
the patriarchal glory and rule?
And only through the sound of the sword
They respond, with voice or echo.
Draw from the sheath your sword;
And let it not return.
My brother, my brother, Oh proud Arab
Today is our moment, not tomorrow.
My brother, the time of our nation’s sunrise has arrived,
[the time] for you to repel those who are misled
And bring renaissance to Islam.”

REMEMBER THAT IN 1066 THREE THOUSAND JEWS WERE MASSACRED IN GRANADA

Ffrom the world’s leading scholar of Islamic antisemitism, Bat Ye’or:

Society was sharply divided along ethnic and religious lines, with the Arab tribes at the top of the hierarchy, followed by the Berbers who were never recognized as equals, despite their Islamization. Lower on the ladder came the mullawadun and, at the very bottom, the dhimmi Christians and Jews. — Bat Ye’or, Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis. Teaneck, Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2005, page 166

As the dhimmis were forbidden to possess arms, they became totally dependent on the occupying power. In certain rural areas, the servile character of the dhimmi’s condition worsened with the passage of time. In 1884 Charles de Foucauld described areas in southern Morocco where the Jews and their families belonged body and soul to their Muslim master and were unable to leave him. Here the condition of serfdom was determined by religion and was passed on from generation to generation: these people were part of the master’s inheritance in exactly the same way as his lands and livestock. As late as 1913, the Jews of Dadès in the Greater Atlas of Morocco were serfs, the property of their Muslim master. — Bat Ye’or, The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam. Teaneck, Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 1985, pages 52-53

It is reported that, in 1033, between five and six thousand Jews were massacred in Fez, and in 1066 about three thousand in Granada. In Yemen the Jews were forced to choose between death and conversion in 1165 and 1678. The Almohad persecutions (1130-1212) in the Maghreb and in Muslim Spain put an end to what remained of the Christian population of North Africa. The Jews, who had been forced to accept Islam, formed a mass of “new converts” who practiced their former religion in secret. The Almohad inquisitors, doubting their sincerity, took away their children and raised them as Muslims. A similar law also existed in Yemen, where every Jewish orphan child had to be converted to Islam. Abrogated by the Turks during their brief occupation of the country after 1872, it was reintroduced by the Imam Yahya in 1922 and confirmed again in 1925….Records concerning Morocco, Algeria and Yemen reveal that during changes of reign and times of instability, the Jewish quarters were regularly pillaged, some of the menfolk massacred, and many women abducted and held for ransom by the soldiery or by tribes from the surrounding regions. Eyewitnesses have described the destruction of the Jewish quarter at Fez in 1912 at the beginning of the French protectorate, and at Sana’a in Yemen as late as 1948, after the assassination of the Imam Yahya. Such ordeals, over the centuries, resulted in many conversions to Islam. Thus a number of Judeo-Berber tribes of the Atlas, and Muslim families in Fez, are known to be descended from Jews who accepted Islam to save their lives in 1165, 1275, 1465, and 1790-92. There are Muslims in Tripolitania and elsewhere who are the descendants of Jews forcibly converted at different periods. The Jews of Tabriz were obliged to convert in 1291 and 1318, and those of Baghdad in 1333 and 1344. — Bat Ye’or, The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam. Teaneck, Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 1985, page 61

A brief survey will illustrate the traditional condition of dhimmitude in Persia at this period. In 1866, the head of the Hamadan Jewish community was imprisoned, put in chains, and threatened with death. The same year in Balforuch (a province of Hamadan), the disappearance of a young Muslim provoked the forced Islamization of Jews: eighteen were killed and two burned alive. In Hamadan in 1875, a fanatic mullah preached the slaughter of the Jews; one of them, accused of blasphemy, was burned alive by the mob. In Teheran on 16 May 1877, the Jewish quarter was invaded and its inhabitants attacked, while a mullah published a fatwa forcing Jews to wear a distinctive badge.

In Isfahan in 1889 a ritual murder accusation unleashed several days of anti-Jewish violence and threats of extermination. On 10 August 1889 in the same town, Muslims accused Jewish pilgrims of throwing stones, of attacking a kadi, and of profaning a mosque with brandy. The mob immediately broke the hands and legs of some hundred pilgrims and injured all the others. Isfahan Jews were attacked in the streets the next day and had to hide in their homes; two who ventured out were killed. Their corpses were dragged through the streets and dumped in the Jewish quarter when night fell. On the morrow, some women were raped and the kadi signed a petition for the Jews to be exterminated. The shah’s son, Prince Zil-Sultan, hastened to protect the victims but the brutality continued. Two months later, on 5 October, a Muslim who had struck a Jew then accused him of the same offense; Jews were immediately beaten up and their quarter plundered. Only the arrival of Prince Zil-Sultan prevented a general massacre. This report also mentions efforts by “Christian priests,” Mirza Norollah in particular, to help the Jews, thereby saving a large number and constantly assisting them. — Bat Ye’or, Islam and Dhimmitude: Where Civilizations Collide, Teaneck, Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2002, p. 125.

The above passage from this work by this outstanding historian emphasises that the batttle which Israel has to fight every day in the Middle East is only partially about land, and not at all about borders.

It is really far more a battle to exist as a different entity to Islam, which is an ideology and political system which simply cannot exist in the company of any other competing ideology or religion.

Only this will allow us to understand why Sakineh Ashtiani is being threatened with stoning to death in Iran, why Coptic Christians are being murdered in big numbers in Egypt, and why in countries such as England and France, the Muslims who enter these countries as immigrants cannot settle down and live as equal citizens, but have to promote aggressively THEIR culture, ideology, politics and religion with total emphasis on aggressively!

It is also why Iran and its clerical Islamic leaders are continually making threats to end the Zionist state of Israel, a state which has done Iranians no harm in any way, and which never ever threatened iran

There are those who choose not to see these things. Such was the Talk Radio Europe “journalist” called “Richie Allen” who spoke to a James Boyce and stated that it was a laugh to call Ahmadinejad a Hitler figure.

Why would Allen say that when Ahmadinejad has threatened to destroy Israel, to destroy the Zionist state and who has organized a Holocaust denying conference.

What is so laughable about likening Ahmadinejad to Hitler?

I just do not get where Allen and this radio station is coming from, or what they base these opinions upon

 .

Surely opinions should not be simply stated but have to be based on the reality of what goes on in today’s world
