THE CONTEXT IS ANTISEMITISM IN EUROPE

 

Jack Engelhard, speaking on the radio station Talk Radio Europe to Richard Allen, maintained last night that the context of the discussion on Israel in Europe is antisemitism

Richard Allen tried to corner Jack Engelhard with something like “But are you saying that our callers are antisemitic!!!”

Engelhard was having none of this, from a radio station which is notorious in its use of the reactionary European Libel laws, (NO FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS OF FREE SPEECH HERE!)

Mr Engelhard correctly replied to this approach by broadcaster Allen

Along the lines of…Certainly not. The callers are not antisemitic but the overall context of the discussion on Israel in Europe is antisemitic.

To use a current expression, since this is the week of Wimbleton:

Mr Richard Allen is blasted right out of court. Game set and match to Mr Jack Engelhard!

Now, now, Mr Richard Allen, (Richie to his friends and since Mr Allen slammed down the phone on me and 4international I am not) no more of your crude provocations against seasoned American jewish fighters like Jack Engelhard pleeze!

Jack Engelhard had given us all in Europe a classic lesson in how to conduct the fight on behalf of Israel. We do not need to call anybody an antisemite. That is actionable and people like George Galloway have made much money on that basis.

 

But insist that the overall context of the discussion on Israel in Europe IS antisemitism

 

Thank you Mr Jack Engelhard for that lesson

 

This was a horrific programme to cast out over the airways of Europe.

I on behalf of www.4international.com and also of www.wedefendisrael.com have this morning sent these emails, one to the Jewish owner of this radio station, talk Radio Europe, and the second to Richard Allen

The emails concern claims made against Israel by a caller naming himself “Gary”. I need to know his second name. I need to have Gary source his claims against Israel. I need to have Richard Allen contact this “Gary” to have him substantiate his sources for these injurious against Israel claims. I need to have Jewish owner Nathan Thomas answer to his responsibilities.

What is the second name of your caller “Gary”?

 

This is important to know because this man made claims which are very detrimental to Israel, and therefore to the Jewish people.

 

He used two historical claims to show how bad Israel was.

 

1. 1.     (Fact 1) Sabra and Shatilla. He claimed Sharon and Israel were behind this
2. 2.     (Fact 2) He claimed that the IDF in 1967 took all of the “Palestinians” out of the Egyptian Army and murdered them

You Richard Allen did not contest these “facts”

 

So Mr Allen please kindly inform me why you did not ask that these claims be sourced.

 

Why did you allow these horrible claims to stand without asking the caller to source his claims?

 

If these claims are allowed to stand, and not be contested by you, do you not consider that this falls into the ambit of “propaganda against Israel”?

 

I on behalf of 4international am also writing to the Jewish owner of this radio station and asked for the sources of these claims broadcast last night.
