THE ATTACK BY FASCISTS ON JEWS ON THE EILAT HIGHWAY IS PART OF THE DRIVE TOWARDS A WORLD FASCIST DICTATORSHIP

File:Ben Yehuda 1948 - 2.jpg

This shows the building destroyed by the car bombing in Ben Yehuda street at Jerusalem on Feb 22, 1948

during the Palestine War of 1948.

This was organised by Hajj Amin al-Husseini’s men. 52 Jewish civilians kild and 123 injured

The Jewish people following the attack from Sinai, which was highly organised, on Southern Israel, near Eilat on the Eilat Highway, by Fascists is a great turning point because it comes after the effects of the so-called Arab Spring

This Arab Spring was from the beginning merely the assault weapon for bringing the Nazi Muslim Brotherhood into power, or into positions where it can influence the drive to Sharia Law inside Arab countries, and where Sharia will be used to batter down all opposition and install clerical fascist dictatorship, especially onto the Muslim poor, where all opposition to the effects of world wide capitalist crisis is impossible, or met with Sharia repression.

TIME IS THE GREAT FACTOR IN ALL LIFE AND DEATH SITUATIONS SUCH AS THIS

FOLLOWING THE EILAT HIGHWAY ATTACK THE ISRAELI LEADERSHIP OF BIBI/BARAK HAS RUN OUT OF TIME (AND OPTIONS)

THEY ARE PARALYSED BY A BUNCH OF FASCISTS CONTROLED BY IRAN AND COWER INSIDE THEIR ENDLESS MEETINGS LIKE THE FRIGHTENED RABBITS THEY ARE

CRISIS OF JEWISH LEADERSHIP IS SIMILAR TO CRISIS LEAD UP TO 1939

THE DEBKA REPORT OF TODAY AND ITS IMPLICATIONS DISCUSSED:

Tehran pulls strings of Gaza missile war, proxy Jihad Islami leads offensive

Iran’s trap for Israel on Eilat Highway

The role of Iran and Hizballah in manipulating the ongoing Palestinian war on Israel from Gaza is manifest, debkafile‘s military sources report. They planned, orchestrated and funded the coordinated attacks on the Eilat Highway Thursday, Aug. 18 – in which gunmen shot dead eight Israelis and injured 40 – and its sequel: volleys of 90 missiles launched day and night from Gaza against a million Israeli civilians since then.

Yossi Ben-Shoshan, 38, from Ofakim, was killed by one of the dozen Grad missiles hitting Beersheba and his home town Saturday night. More than a dozen people were injured, at least one critically.
The prime mover in the missile blitz is Tehran’s Palestinian arm, the Jihad Islami, which is responsible for 90 percent of the launches. Hamas is left on the sidelines, cut off for the first time from top levels of authority in Tehran and Damascus.

The IDF is held back from substantive action to snuff out the Iran-backed offensive by the indecision at the policy-making level of the Israeli government, which is still feeling its way toward determining the dimensions and potential thrust of the military crisis landing on Israel out of the blue.

Under Egyptian, Israeli and US noses, Tehran managed to transfer to its Palestinian arm in Gaza, the Jihad Islami, more than 10,000 missiles well in advance of the violence launched three days ago. Most of them are heavy Grads bringing Beersheba, capital of the Negev and Israel’s 7th largest town (pop. 200,000), within their 30-kilometer range for a sustained, massive missile offensive.
Tehran has now launched the hardware smuggled into the Gaza Strip ready for a Middle East war offensive for five objectives:

1. To leave Syrian President Bashar Assad free to continue brutalizing his population and ignoring President Barack Obama’s demand backed by Europe that he step down.
2. To manufacture a direct military threat on the Jewish state, whose destruction is a fundamental of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ideology.

3.  To thwart the Egyptian military junta’s operation last week for regaining control of the lawless Sinai Peninsula and destroying the vast weapons smuggling network serving Iran in its capacity as the leading international sponsor of terror.
4.  To render the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his bid for UN recognition of an independent state on Sept. 20 irrelevant.  His isolation was brought home to him last Thursday by the coordinated Palestinian terrorist attacks near Eilat last Thursday.
5.  To plant ticking bombs around Israel for potential detonation and explosion into a full-blown regional war.
debkafile‘s Washington sources disclose that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton outlined this peril to Egypt’s military ruler, Field Marshall Muhammad Tantawi, Saturday night, Aug. 20, to dissuade him from recalling the Egyptian ambassador to Israel over the deaths of three or five Egyptian police in the melee over the Palestinian terror attack near the Sinai border.
This danger was on the table of Israel’s inner cabinet of eight ministers when they met early Sunday to decide on IDF action for terminating the Palestinian missile war.

However, just as Cairo discovered that its operation for eradicating al Qaeda and other Islamist radical groups’ grip on Sinai would give Iran the pretext for aggression, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the IDF high command found themselves at a loss to determine whom to attack.
Up until now, Israel declared the Hamas rulers of Gaza accountable for all attacks originating in the enclave.

That formula is no longer valid. The Eilat Highway attacks were planned and executed behind Hamas’s back and so was the missile offensive – until Saturday night, when Hamas decided to try and step in. Both Hamas and Cairo are in fact out of the picture.
Israel’s leaders are stuck for solutions because no one in Washington, Jerusalem or Cairo can be sure of the outcome of any military steps they might take. They can’t be sure whether they will douse the violence or just play into the hands of Hizballah and Tehran who may have more shockers in their quivers ready to loose. (my emphasis FQ)

Only three facts stand out from the fog of uncertainty:
First, the security crisis besetting Israel has the dangerous potential for dragging the Middle East into a regional war.
Second, America and Israel are paying in full the price of their quiescence in the face of Iranian, Hizballah and extremist Palestinian belligerence and active preparations for war, including the stockpiling of thousands of increasingly sophisticated weaponry on Israel’s borders.
Third, the first step an Israeli soldier or tank takes into the Gaza Strip to silence Jihad Islami’s  missile fire is more likely than not to precipitate a second Iranian-orchestrated assault on another of Israel’s borders.
Sunday morning, no one in any of the capitals concerned was ready to risk guesstimating how far Tehran was ready to go in its current offensive and what orders Hizballah and its Palestinian puppets had received.

Debka above shows very well how in politics time does not stand still (Time waits for no man)

And Debka is also showing that there is a very new and challenging situation facing the Jews of Israel because of all those happenings in the socalled Arab Spring.

It is thanks to Obama, Cameron, Hague, Sarkozy, and a host of other bourgeois leaders and governments that they have been largely successful in creating this new situation (post Gadhafi, post Mubarak) that is so dangerous for the Jewish people of Israel. The old Jewish idea that you sit there and do nothing does not work in this new world, a Fascist becoming world governed by capitalist world economic crisis

For many months the touchstone of this has been the new Kosovo, Libya, which looks very different to Kosovo but is in essence exactly the same

As Debka.com astutely observes the Eilat attack was a product of this new situation post Arab Spring, post Iraq, post Afghanistan

This is the new situation which the Israeli leadership has to confront

It is very important to understand this Eilat attack and to ask ourselves, Jews and those who support Israel, Jewish or not, how did the Israeli leadership deal with this situation?

But first consider the forces against Israel and the Jews today. They are formidable:

1. The left of Marx, Engels and Trotsky does not exist in todays world

2. The left (therefore surreal and so-called) of today is anti-Semitic

3. The Vatican plays its anti-Jewish role which did not end with the 1990 pronouncements

4. Excepting for the American nationalist Biblical support the forces of Western Christianity are anti-Semitic

5. Conspiracy theorists are driving or have driven the truth movement into anti-Semitism

6. The remnants of Nazism were kept alive in the CIA post 1945

7. The New World Order of George Soros, also linked to left anti-Semitism, but to Norquist and Bush also, is anti-Semitic. Soros glories in having taken part in the suppression of Jews as a small boy in the Holocaust

8. The Arab dagger is still sharp and pointed at Israel

9. The Palestinian Arab narrative has flourished in those conditions.

Finally and most important of all…Obama as President and Mrs Clinton as leader of State has pushed world anti-Semitism, through the Arab Spring, to dangerous levels. This is coming to head in September 20 in the United Nations

One general thought in which to posit the above  points is this:

Judaism is an old and benevolent religion which has created the Jewish people as a nation. But if Judaism had an answer for the present conditions of capitalist crisis morphing into Fascism and Antisemitsm it would have produced it in 1939. We know, and Jews know, that it did not.

Jews want to quite naturally put the Holocaust behind them but that HAS TO BE the starting point for today.

If Jews are to continue as a nation and continue to be able to practise their ancient religion and follow their ancient traditions then they must also be able to make a leap in consciousness and practice

THIS IS A COMMENT WHICH APPEARED RECENTLY ON HUFFINGTON POST:

I hope Israel’s response is more intelligent than last time. I couldn’t believe that they would shell Gaza while at the same time refusing to allow anyone, including women and children, to leave. You would think they sat around thinking of ways to create bad publicity for Israel.

Here is a suggestion. Inform the inhabitants of Gaza that anyone who wishes may leave in the next 72 hours. They can go to Egypt or they can go to the West Bank. Search them for weapons on the way out. Then flatten Gaza. Bomb the whole place to rubble. Allow anyone out who wishes to leave but don’t allow anyone in. Eventually the only ones left will be Hamas. Then send in the army with tanks and bulldozers and scrape the whole place down to bare land. This is not an optimal solution but it IS a solution, which is more than anyone else has managed to come up with.

Sunwyn_Ravenwood: I hope Israel’s response is more intelligent than last time.

THAT HUFF POST COMMENT IN A SEA OF ANTISEMITISM ON THAT SITE SHOWS…THERE IS GOOD KNOWLEDGE AMONG MANY JEWS INSIDE ISRAEL OF WHAT IS HAPPENING. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT JEWS IN ISRAEL HAVE A LEADERSHIP WHICH IS REALLY UNABLE TO TAKE ANY MEANINGFUL DECISIONS, MUCH LESS ACT

MUCH OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AND WHAT IS GOING WRONG, CONTINUALLY, IS A RESULT NOT OF OSLO (IT ALSO WAS JUST AN EFFECT) BUT AN INABILITY OF JUDAISM LEADERSHIP TO MEET THE CHALLENGE OF FASCISM, AS IT COULD NOT EITHER IN 1939

THE FOLLOWING EXCERPTS FROM AN ANALYSIS BY INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST (FROM INSIDE ISRAEL) ARLENE KUSHNER MAKES THIS LAGGING BEHIND EVENTS, INABILITY TO ACT ETC. VERY CLEAR:

A glimpse of this reality given by independent journalist Arlene Kushner

I have learned that the Shin Bet had picked up information days ago about an attack initiated from the Sinai that was being planned by the Popular Resistance Committees.  Thus, troops — from the Counter-Terrorism YAMAM Unit and the elite Golani Brigade — had already been deployed along the Israel-Sinai border.

The expectation had been that PRC was planning abduction of one or more Israelis, possibly soldiers, in a stealth operation under cover of night.  What happened, then, according to reports, diverged from what had been anticipated not only in terms of time of day, but also locale, as the terrorists entered Israel at a point not far from an Egyptian military installation.

The prior intelligence explains how Barak was able to announce so quickly that the source of the attack was Gaza, and why the air strike aimed first for the PRC headquarters.

Without question, the toll of dead and wounded would have been far worse, had the military not already had a presence on the scene.  They were able to engage the terrorists almost immediately.

( That puts a kind face on it FQ)

(But perhaps the info was deliberately wrong. Barak was listening to info fed to him by the terrorists, I merely speculate…FQ)

But there are anguished questions that linger in the air with regard to whether the Israeli response was sufficient. Should there have been a far larger deployment along that border, with, perhaps, constant air surveillance?

Brig.-Gen. (res.) Amatzia Chen, a former commander of commando units, says, in an article running in Arutz Sheva:

“In the sixties we were able to seal the western border with Egypt such that even a mouse would have thought twice before going too far; it is hard to believe what is happening today.”

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/146962

Are there other actions that should have been taken?  The major charge in this regard, and the most serious, involves failure to be pro-active rather than re-active.

General Chen, cited above, says:

“Unfortunately, according to the Oslo framework, once the late Rabin signed the agreements they served as a pretext for the IDF’s senior command to act as if it was a peaceful time, and that has failed time after time. That’s why what happened in Eilat does not surprise me.

“Instead of responding after the attack, the military system had to act beforehand, against the intentions to attack…”

While Caroline Glick, in her column today, says:

“Israeli military preparedness follows a depressing pattern. The IDF does not change its assessments of the strategic environment until Israeli blood runs in the streets.”

http://www.carolineglick.com/e/2011/08/blood-in-the-streets.php

So what are we talking about here?

If the IDF had intelligence that the PRC was planning a terrorist act, and knew where the PRC headquarters was located, why wasn’t it hit before the act took place?

(THE ABOVE FROM WWW.ISRAPUNDIT.COM)

These are indeed wise words from Arlene Kushner. Furthermore they are echoed on my Facebook page by Josh Hasten who knows Caroline Glick. And Caroline Glick understands very well that Israel does not have a leadership which is able to take reality by the scruff of the neck and through its practice create a new reality.

But nothing in this regard is at all simple.

Let me go back some months. Friend of Arlene Kushner is Ted Belman, editor of Israpundit, hard working and patriotic. (these are small circles int he Jewish world) I conflicted with Belman round about February on the issue of Libya. Belman actually was calling,or supporting a call, for the US to bomb Gadhafi, I think the words used were to flatten the Gadhafi air force.

But why should a Jewish leader like Belman take such a position. Gadhafi was OBJECTIVELY the opponent of the Islamist Fascists in the west of Libya, and had been for decades.

Belman was unable to see the relevance of the episode in the 1930s labour history when Leon Trotsky defended also the religious despot Haile Selassie, and did so without a second delay and did so above all unconditionally. DEFENCE AGAINST THE NAZIS.

Question is why did Belman not see this? The answer is that he has turned his face against Trotsky and against Trotskyism. WHICH IS HIS RIGHT BUT IT HAS ITS IMPLICATIONS

Furthermore Arlene Kushner would have read that on Israpundit and would have NOT SAID A WORD

These PARTICULAR KINDS OF JEWISH LEADERS (and they are leaders) can never ask themselves why it was that I and 4international fought so hard WHEN IT WAS UNDERWAY for the victory to Mubarak. In even more graphic form for the victory to Muammar Gadhafi and his political tendency in Libya, which does not depend on any one thing he or his son Saif may say at any point. The general political tendency of the rebellious colonels was towards progression from medieval royalty, and now against medieval and despotic (sharia Law) Islam.

If I can sum up the present Jewish and Israeli leaders, and I talk here not just the Government, but a wide swath of leadership, from Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer (you see I am not just talking about Jews), through Ted Belman, and Arlene Kushner, the dominant characteristic is narrow, insular, inability to learn from the real history since they are caught in their own narrow narrative.

Hence the great issues connected with 1933 go unanswered.

On that last score the writer and professor Francisco Gil White analysed the 1933 defeat to Hitler, and deliberately (maybe he too is ignorant) left out the betrayal of Stalin and the political line fought for by Leon Trotsky, which alone would have saved the Jewish people from the Holocaust.

You see…NARROW. Even Francisco had caught the disease. And narrow very often ends up smug and dismissive.

The defeat of Mubarak has thrown up challenges which the Israeli elite cannot and will not meet

The defeat of Gadhafi will be even worse. Along with Kosovo it opens up the door to the Islam/US/EU/Brit alliance to destroy the Jews. That is their intention and with wind in their sails that is what they will do.

A FINAL NOTE ON THE DEBKA REPORT ABOVE

Debka is part, in the final analysis, of this fateful and faulty analysis.

We ask Debka? What is Iran without the US Imperialists who are driving towards world dictatorship, all parties in America, on the George Soros antisemitic One World theme? In the final analysis Debka seem to be papering over the historical crisis in capitalism, and the drive towards One World dictatorship by a different type of capitalist system. In other words a new Nazism.
