Religion of Peacenik on board the Turkish jihad warship flotilla preparing to stab an Israel soldier, May 31, 2010.
The problem is this:
The leaders of Israel as are presently in power, and I emphasize the word “presently”, are not prepared to go on the offensive against Turkey, and against Obama, and against the EU, who all stand behind the Turkish hatred of Israel.
Israel should have allied in the most explicit and practical manner with Mubarak, it should have done so with Gadhafi from day one, and it should also now do the same with Assad of Syria, despite all foolish advice from people like Caroline Glick. Remember if Assad falls there will not be a single Catholic or Christian, or indeed Muslim Kurd, left alive in Syria.
But the Israeli leaders, like Gelelr and Spencer, when it comes down to the nitty gritty, have no boldness about them.
And as Gadhafi has found out and now rues, he who hesitates or double thinks, and trusts Imperialism, is lost forever. That is the great danger facing Jews, not the rightness of their cause, or having to convince anybody of their cause, but leadership which is decisive.
They have not really internalized the lesson of Gadhafi giving up his Nuclear Arms to Imperialism, in return (his rich children thought and convinced the old desert fighter) that a deal could be had with Imperialism and with Imperialism in alliance with ITS Jihad.
In other words nobody, from Geller and Spencer, through all present Jewish leaders, have internalized fully just how close is the connection and alliance between the US Government above all others, and the Jihad, and the Anti-Semitism which plagues the earth.
The book “Blowback” by Christopher Simpson, should now be required (not reading) but STUDY, because this book details how US policy after 1945 became Nazi policy also.
In other words Hitler was dead, but the anti-Semitism was carried forward by the newly forming (founded 1947) CIA and the American State Department.
The Anticommunism and the Anti-Semitism became deeply ingrained in American Foreign Policy from 1945 to the present.
It goes without saying that Anticommunism and Anti-Semitism are deeply connected.
(For proof of this deep connection between anti-Semitism and anticommunism see the extract we print at the end from review of book by Michael Kellogg)
The position of Aryeh Eltad is indeed praiseworthy, even though he does not go far enough and draw the most precise lessons from the Mubarak and Gadhafi debacles.
He speaks on Israel National News, an excellent resource:
“The law of reciprocity – and the ‘law’ of the Middle East – require immediate expulsion of the ambassador to Turkey, filing a suit on behalf of the commandos who were injured – and the State of Israel for expenses incurred – as a result Turkey’s negligence in preventing the flotilla from sailing illegally, and immediate cessation of the supply and maintenance of military contracts with Turkey “.
MK Eldad added that during the first week after the Knesset holiday he will advance a bill to recognize the Armenian Genocide by Turkey.
Eldad’s comments come on the heels of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Devutoglu saying his nation rejected the findings of the UN Palmer Report on the 2010 Gaza-flotilla and would be downgrading relations with Israel, as well as ceasing military cooperation. He added economic ties might be downgraded as well.
Devutoglu reiterated the position of Turkey’s Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan that nothing less than a full apology by Israel, reparations for the 9 Turkish nationals killed during the IDF boarding action, and a termination of Israel’s naval blockade on Gaza would satisfy Istanbul.
The report concluded Israel’s blockade of Gaza was “legal and appropriate,” that the commandos were met with “organized and violent resistance” necessitating the use of force to defend themselves, and criticized Turkey for failing to stop the ships from setting sail in the first place.
At the same time it recommended Israel make ‘an expression of regret’ and compensate the families of those kills saying the level of force employed by the IDF was “excessive and unreasonable.”
It did not take into account that the commandos were armed with ‘pneumatic guns’ and live fire was only employed when those proved insufficient to dissuade the lynch mob that confronted them aboard the Mavi Marmara.
Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has said Israel will do no more than ‘express regret.’
