The Arab Spring was and is really a step towards Fascism. On 4international we were very clear as to how vile it was,and that is why despite differences of course, we defended UNCONDITIONALLY against NATO and Islam Ben Ali, Mubarak, Gaghbo and of course Muammar Gadhafi.
And I heard the BBC World Service continually promoting this Arab Spring.

More of the catastrophic fallout from Obama’s failed foreign policy. Obama has relinquished American hegemony, empowered a brutal totalitarian ideology, and abandoned the proud culture of freedom. Ayn Rand said, “the spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. Whenever evil wins, it is only by default.” Whole swaths of the Middle East and Africa are falling to seventh century Islamic imperialism and oppression since the saboteur took office. Those of us that predicted back in 2008 the unimaginable consequences of an anti-American president and the resulting rollbacks in humanity across the globe were marginalized, demonized, and discredited. We were right all along based on concretes.
TUNIS — Several thousand men and women demonstrated outside the Tunisian parliament on Friday to demand the inclusion of Islamic law in the north African country’s future constitution.
“The people want the application of God’s sharia”, “Our Koran is our constitution”, “No constitution without sharia,” and “Tunisia is neither secular nor scientific, it is an Islamic state”, cried the protesters, drawn mainly from the Islamist Salafist movement.
Some men climbed on the roof of the building and unfurled a banner that read: “The people belong to God.”

The Muslim community, if it were honest about this phenomenon, would institute classes teaching Muslims against the attitudes and assumptions that lead to honor killing, instead of denying that it has anything do with Islam, when it obviously does.
Mohammad Shafia made it clear that he did it because he thought his daughters were violating Islamic norms: “May the devil s–t on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would a daughter be such a whore?” He also said: “God’s curse on them for generations. … They betrayed Islam.”
In Islamic law the emphasis is not so much on the crime of rape but on the shame that the woman has brought upon her family by her sexual immorality, even if it was forced. So that shame can be washed away by her marrying the rapist.
Islam’s emphasis is wholly and completely upon women as having the responsibility not to tempt men. If they do, and the man rapes, it’s the woman’s fault. So Islamic honor killing is of a piece with the wearing of hijabs, burqas, etc.
