These dictators were keeping the world perfectly in peace. For 30 years Mubarak ruled in Egypt, kept the fascists of the Muslim Brotherhood from taking power by running in elections (you know their aim and motto, one election, one time) and Mubarak also kept the peace going with Israel. Gadhafi was actually on the side of the US and Britain against Al Qaida terrorists. Similarly with Ben Ali and Gaghbo and a dozen others. They did not change. They remained loyal to the agreement with the US to fight Al Qaeda. It was the US, Britain and France who changed. Just as Reagan did in Afghanistan they joined the Islamist Fascists.

 

When representatives of a system cannot keep their word that signifies the deep degeneration of that system.

 

The situation now in Syria is caused completely by these Big Powers, that is US, France and Britain.

 

If Assad is overthrown then the millions of Alawites and other millions of Christians will be massacred by the Jihad. Those not massacred by the Jihad will be enslaved.

 

Imagine then our surprise on www.4international.me when supposed friends of Israel like Barry Rubin, rather than being a guide to the world in the field of morality, are actually refusing to defend Assad, thus defend the minority Alawites and Christians.

 

As in all of these countries there is a struggle going on against Islam fundamentalists. Assad is clearly fighting for his life and the life of his family. But he is the figurehead for the Alawites and Christians. That latter fact is the ONLY reason he has survived for so long against such odds. The Alawites and Christians do not want to be massacred or have to flee. Jews like Rubin should understand this. I rate Rubin to be one of the big betrayers (of the Jewish tradition) of all time. he does not mean to be or set out to be, but that is what he is.

 

Now these policies of Obama, of Cameron and Sarkozy (past) have even mor implications.

Our sources learn that, in one of the conversations between the two presidents, Obama commented: “If only one barrel of anthrax reaches the hands of a Caucasian terrorist group, Russian will face its greatest terrorist threat in its history. Millions of Russians may perish.”
It was clear from this comment that Assad’s WMD are not stored as warheads, bombs or shells but kept in large barrels or kegs in six underground bunkers, holding Sarin (GB), Tabun (GA) and VX nerve gases, some four kinds of mustard gas and anthrax. The storage silos are spread out among Al Safir, the main Syrian missile base in the north; Cerin, a biological research center on the Mediterranean shore; military facilities at Hama and Homs; the Syrian naval base leased to the Russians at Latakia;  and Palmyra, on the highway between Homs and Aleppo.

 Barry Rubin ranks up there as one of the greatest enemies of the Jews, even though most American Jews give him a pass, and many Jews in Israel do so also because they are influenced by America.

The reality facing Jews today whether they accept it now or not is:
Jewish leaders in America and Britain who have their agents in Israel are the big danger.

Rubin is in reality a political imbecile and is totally devious. the reason I say the latter, and that his deviousness takes precedent over his imbecility, is that he leaves out a factor which he knows of very well.

That is that Assad is fighting the war on behalf of secularism and against the combined efforts of Sharia and Wester Capitalist Governments.

Notice I said “combined”.
This is indeed an Alliance of Interests.

We saw this first of all in Yugoslavia although it was also there in the CIA involvement with Suharto in Indonesia.

there is a very deep crisis in capitalism which surpasses the crisis of 1929 (because capitalism is much older) and this crisis has driven all of the capitalist governmental interests to seek an alliance with Islam.

It is in vain that Spencer or Geller complain about this. The underlying material forces are much stronger. There is to be no going back on this Alliance. There is a difference between Romney and Obama. Obama is enthusiastic about this Alliance. Romney is not enthusiastic but will also do it anyway.

This is because by the time Romney takes over the crisis will have moved on. It is mostly a crisis of credit. There is trillions of credit (paper money and increasing) flooding the system.

Season economists in Britain like the very respected Roger Bruton spit on the efforts to rescue the euro, but the euro is inseparable from the dollar.

On this issue of Assad. None of us really like Assad one bit because of the way he carried on the Arab war against Israel while his grandfather knew very well the real value of Israel. But things change and what has chamged with all of these Arab leaders like Ben Ali, Mubarak and Gadhafi, is that they were forced to become while not total secularists certainly in the fight against Sharia Law.

That is very fundamental. That is why Gadhafi HAD to be defended. The issue of Lockerbie was a total distraction especially since the father of a girl killed was certain that libya was not involved.

I listened to a man called David on a radio station yesterday and he played a clip on the massacre, then he related about the birth of his daughter a few months ago, then he said but that does nopt mean that if you do not have children you would not understand, you see he is a Christian and Christians like to cover all bases. But because of the images of the massacre of children he said “something needs to be done”. But he did not state out clearly that that something was to remove Assad by war, which is the position of the French. “Something needs to be done” was also the basis on which many Germans supported Hitler.

This Assad issue is very dangerous for the Jews. I have no time at all for Rubin. I see people like Rubin in this article betraying the 2000 year old Christian community in Syria and handing them over to the Sharia. (By the way Pamela has no clear position of defence of Assad and is not different from what I understand to Rubin)

I have a little doggie friend and he is very aware of what happens in and around our home. But it does take him a while to work new things out. I place him far ahead of Rubin. As for the comparative intelligence of my cat and Rubin, well she would spit in disgust if I was to call barry Rubin intelligent

I SUSPECT VERY STRONGLY THAT THE MASSACRE OF CHILDREN BEING REPORTED BY THE BBC THIS MORNING IN SYRIA IS PHONY, A SET-UP.

 

I take that as given. Every piece of news that comes across on the BBC my first presumption is always that it is false. This is the correct position for a socialist revolutionary to take.

 

On www.4international.me we stand in the most uncopmpromising way in defence of the Jews, in defence of Israel, that Israel must urgently strike the Iranian fascist regime and with Nuclear weapons if it is seen as necessary to defend Israel.

 

But we cannot forgive Jewish leaders who have not defended Gaghbo, Ben Ali, Mubarak and Gadhafi with everything that the Jews have got.

 

None of those leaders can be said to be friendly to Israel. That is not the point. The point being that they were also opposed to the Sharia Law in their countries, and as the policy of the US and Europe has become clearer to ujs, they were therefore opposed to the Sharia/US Alliance.

 

In political life you do not have to be a friend of somebody to defend them.

 

The whole history of the last two decades of the life of Trotsky was that he sought to make every alliance against Hitler and Mussolini.

 

But the present Sharia in alliance with Obama and the EU leaders is a worse threat to the world than even the Nazis were.

 

That is why I cannot forgive the take by debka on this so-called massacre, and I cannot forgive Belman of Israpundit for not standing on his hind legs like a real man and warniong about how similar this looks to the conspiraciers against the Serbs.

 

I follow with 2 items, first my challenge to Belman on Israpundit this morning and secondly the atrocious debka take on the massacre. And on Assad.

 

1. MY CHALLENGE TO ISRAPUNDIT AND TED BELMAN THIS VERY MORNING

 

 

It is not at all that the Jews are gullible. It is that the Jewish leaders, especially in America, have been conditioned by their own (American) ruling class with its great powers of persuasion (for example Ted Belman of this Israpundit conditioned through his years as a LAWYER, to follow whatever garbage the elites throw at the population through the Media.

I was not there. I cannot say what happened.

However I have listened to the BBC and the reporting on this “massacre” follows the pattern of the reporting of the Srebrenica “massacre”.

Except that they have become more bold since 1995 because then they did not report a massacre until 2 months after the event.

The Irish times has reported on Srebrenica many hundreds of times since 1995 but in the first 2 months there was no mention at all of a massacre.

Now they can put this type of news story in circulation very fast and nobody bats an eyelid.

I can handle all of that but what I cannot handle is Jewish leaders like Belman who toe the line like any other gullible Media dimwit.

The reason they can put it out so fast is largely due to people like Belman and it is worse in his case because he has had a chance to understand how the Media in Yugoslavia worked.

An alternative theory, with the merest tiny bit of reflection, and I am no expert at all, but the whole point is I do not need great expertise, I just need to reflect back on Yugoslavia, on Qana, on Jenin, on El Dura etc..

1. Who benefits? Assad does not benefit at all because he is interested in keeping the shaky Russians on board with him.
2. Clearly benefit are those who call for HUMANITARIAN Intervention such as the CIA, the sections around Obama like Rice who are for Humanitarian Interventions everywhere, Joe Lieberman…and Ted Belman? But why the latter?

An alternative theory thinking only of the practicals of this specific massacre story:

We know that Al Qaeda is there and we know their ruthlessness.

We know the CIA and SAS are there and they would do anything for political global strategy.

We know that Al Jazeera and Kuwait are there and we saw just how ruthless they were in Libya in murdering not a hundred but tens of thousands of black Africans.

We have experience of the Qana affair where the same Islamists raided the nearby morgues in order to locate the very bodies that they later had actors dig or pull out of the rubble, in the case on one child pulled out time after time. THESE TYPES WOULD DO ANYTHING. THAT IS THE WHOLE ESSENCE OF THE EXPOSURES BY SPENCER ON JIHADWATCH AND BY PAMELA ON ATLAS SHRUGS.
And again on the BbC this morning these Antisemites focus on CHILDREN.

A lady from Save the Children (note a lady to give the maternal touch) was calling for humanitarian intervention.

And Belman, a Jewish leader through Israpundit in America and Israel, and a man who networks with Eidelberg et al, falls for all of this.

This makes me think that the issue is Assad and Jewish leadership opportunism devoid of principle, you know sell your granny fro a penny.

Assad is in league with Hizbullah, Hamas and Iran. So Belman is quite incapable of calling for a defence of Assad from the forces of Empire/Sharia.
Belman cannot act because he leaves out a fact I raised a year ago which is: defence of Assad does not mean lowering the guard against Assad by Israel.

Nothing to stop defending Assad. Nothing to stop Israel from striking against Assad if it needs to. But that entails seeing Israel as an independent force in the world.

THAT BELMAN AND HIS ILK IN THE Jewish ELITE CANNOT EVER DO

They have always and will always see Israel as an adjunct to the US which has brainwashed them.
Nor does defence of Gaghbo, Ben Ali, Gadhafi or Mubarak ever stop Israel from hitting Iran with a Nuclear Weapon to save the Jews.

Only the www.4international.me can take these positions and only that organization can become the defender of the Jews in the long term consistent sense.

2. THE NOTORIOUS DEBKA TAKE ON THIS “MASSACRE” THIS MORNING

 

Assad’s latest massacre at al-Houla

The wanton slaughter by Syrian forces of 92 confirmed victims, 32 of them children under ten, at the Homs village of Al-Houla Friday, May 25, was the most horrifying atrocity in the Middle East this week, but not the only one: In Sanaa, six days ago, al Qaeda’s suicide bombers, having penetrated Yemeni military ranks, detonated two tons of explosives at a parade rehearsal killing more than 100 soldiers and civilians and injuring 400.
Yet, according to the New York Times, after 15 months of bloodshed, President Barack Obama is working on the Yemenbi model for a plan to push Bashar Assad out of office, while “leaving remnants of his government in place. The Yemeni model replaced President Ali Abdullah in Sanaa with his vice president Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Whereas US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned Assad and his “cronies” for the al-Houla massacre, the “Yemen plan” would leave in place those very “cronies,” including Assad’s close relatives, who are responsible for massacres not only in al-Houla, but also in Homs, Hama, Idlib and Deraa, to name a few.
According to the NYT, when Obama tested the idea with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the Group-of-8 summit in Camp David last Saturday, May 19, the Russian prime minister raised the example of “Mubarak in a cage,” referring to Mubarak’s court appearance at his trial. Obama then “countered with Yemen, and the indication was, yes, this was something we could talk about.”
This scrap of dialogue lifted the veil from a key aspect of Obama’s broader Middle East program and the role he has assigned Moscow for carrying it through. This role was first revealed exclusively by DEBKA-Net-Weekly 542 of May 25 which reported that the US president is acting to bring the Russians into a partnership for securing deals on the Iranian nuclear program and the Syrian crisis.
So far, his venture has had two results:

1.  The Iranian nuclear impasse and the outcome of the Syrian civil war have been more tightly integrated than ever before.
2.  Any deal reached by the US, Russia and Iran on the two issues would have to entail a carving-up of Middle East influence among those three powers.
As for Israel’s role in the ongoing bargaining, we also disclosed in debkafile of May 19 that Israel’s Binyamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak had agreed to stand back for Barack Obama to put his interim deal with Iran to the test. Despite their reservations, they decided to go along with it after receiving assurances from the White House that Iranian violations would result in the immediate termination of negotiations and bring military action forward as the sole remaining option for stopping a nuclear Iran.

The US president promised to put his accord with Israel before the G-8 summit. And he did.
But for now there is no deal although Israel, in effect, gave Obama six months’ grace to explore his diplomatic initiative with Vladimir Putin and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei before turning back to the military option.
But as the days pass, major hurdles are piling up in the path of what some observers hail as Obama’s “Grand Bargain,” and others his “Grand Failure:” The Six-power talks with Iran have failed to persuade the ayatollahs to give up uranium enrichment up to weapons-grade; the world wants actions not words to halt the brutal massacres in Syria; rising bloodshed in Yemen continues to cripple the country. Obama’s hopes of a crisis-free six months for electioneering in peace look more and more like pipe-dreams.
The bargaining with Tehran is likely to stay stalled because Iran’s leaders take Obama’s deal with Israel as a six-month respite from a military threat. So why should they hurry in May or even June to reach a compromise with America on its demand to stop 20 percent uranium enrichment?
Bashar Assad and his army chiefs likewise feel US hands are tied by Obama’s hopes of a breakthrough with Iran and they can safely carry on with their “unspeakable crimes” for the next six months under the Iranian-Russian umbrella. Words however strong will not discourage him from sending tanks to crush every last opponent and their children.

And Israel, seeing the US president lurching from one bargaining position to another to keep his initiative afloat, shifts uncertainly in and out of its unwritten commitment to withhold military action against Iran until November.

None of the parties involved in granting Obama his six-month grace period, whether Vladimir Putin, Ali Khamenei, Binyamin Netanyahu or Bashar Assad, can be sure that he will in fact be returned to the Whie House in November. And even if he is, how much will be left of his Grand Bargain.

State’s Wendy Sherman, senior US delegate to world power talks with Iran

The rupture between the US and Israel over Iran’s nuclear program widened further Friday, May 25  when Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak decided not to be available to hear the briefing brought to Jerusalem from Baghdad by Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman who headed the US delegation to the Six Power talks. The report she delivered to National Security Adviser Yaakov Amidror and Foreign Ministry Director-General Rafi Barak was that no progress had been achieved in Baghdad due to Iran’s refusal to budge on its “right” to enrich uranium at low (3.5-5 percent) or high (20 percent) levels or shut down the Fordo nuclear plant near Qom.
Although the participants agreed to reconvene in Moscow in three weeks, the Iranian delegation stressed there would be no progress until the US and the other five world powers (Britain, France, Russia, Germany and China) recognized Iran’s absolute “right” as a signatory of the Non-Proliferation Treaty to enrich uranium.

Meanwhile, every day spent on diplomacy is thoroughly exploited by Iran to zip ahead with its nuclear plans. The Vienna-based UN nuclear watchdog (IAEA)’s quarterly report released Friday reveals that since February Iran almost doubled its stockpile of more highly enriched uranium which is close to weapons grade from 73.4 to 145 kilograms.
The centrifuges at the Fordo facility, built into the side of a mountain, rose to over 500 from 300 in the last report.

Using the IAEA figures, debkafile calculates that if Fordo goes on producing 23.9 kilograms of 20-percent enriched uranium per month, Iran will by the end of December have accumulated 336 kilograms of near-weapons quality uranium.
The IAEA also reported that Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to less than 5 per cent grew to 6,232 kilograms from 5,451 reported in February.

Its inspectors recorded “the presence of particles” of 27 per cent-enriched uranium at Fordo. Iran maintained the particles were a result of “technical reasons beyond the operator’s control.”

The IAEA report was released a day after talks between Tehran and the six powers ended without progress.
Iran’s senior delegate Saeed Jalili declared that his government would never accept the Washington-ruled distinction between two categories of nations – one permitted and the other forbidden to enrich uranium. He claimed this was against international treaties.

Friday, the Washington Post quoted Mohammad Hoseyn Moussavian of Princeton University as revealing that in 2004, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, “I would resign if for any reason Iran is deprived of its rights to enrichment.”

 

Moussavian is presented as an Iranian academic visiting Princeton to lecture and write a book on the Iranian nuclear issue. debkafile reveals that he was the contact man in one of the direct, back-channel negotiations taking place in Paris between the White House and Khamenei. His words therefore were intended to carry weight as a reminder to Obama that the supreme leader, like the US president, intended to come out of their dialogue strengthened – not undermined. And therefore, for both their sakes, Washington must endorse Iran’s “right to enrichment.”
Tehran presented a second ultimatum for the nuclear talks to continue: phased sanctions relief, starting with the postponement of the European Union’s oil embargo scheduled for July 1 until the end of negotiations and the reconnection of Iranian banks to the SWIFT international money transfer system.

 

The gap between Israel and the Obama administration widened in the course of Washington’s direct, secret give-and-take with Tehran. In early April, Defense Minister Barak reported that Israel offered some compromise on the enrichment issue. debkafile disclosed at the time that Israel had informed Washington of its approval of a “1,000 formula.” Iran would be permitted to activate 1,000 centrifuges for enrichment and keep 1,000 kilograms of 3.5-per cent enriched uranium. 

The Netanyahu government backtracked when this concession was used by US officials as a lever for further accommodations with Iran.
The direct US-Iran channel and the second round of Six Power talks with Iran have clearly left the standoff over Iran’s nuclear solidly in place: Iran stands by its right to enrich uranium up to weapons grade, the US stands by diplomacy, however hopeless, for resolving the controversy, while Israel demands a time limit for negotiations. Its military option was put back on the table for so long as Iran’s enrichment centrifuges continue spinning at top speed

Move forward just a little, to the early 1990s, and Iran was working with the US State Department and the US Army and Air Force to airlift Nazi Arab Muslims into Bosnia to fight the Serbs. They carried out many beheadings, thus anticipating what happened to Daniel Pearl.

 

This was Jihad against the Serbs, with the direct help of the US ruling classes.

 

Now there is a Jihad against Israel and it takes the form of the Iranian Nuclear Bomb.

 

You can see an antisemite immediately. He or she will offer no interest in what Iran is getting up to in Fordo inside that mountain.

 

This apparent “naivety” and sometimes even impatience with the issue being raised has at its root Antisemitism.

 

Some of the worst offenders in this regard are those who claim to talk about defence of the Serbs re Srebrenica, like Harman and Peterson, while they are defending the Nazi Iranian regime and its bomb building AGAINST JEWS.

 

Of course, this is Antisemitic and Nazi because this bomb building in Iran has got only the one target and that target is Israel.

 

So what is the future?/ What to do?

 

The answer is that no step can be taken without putting into place the alternative leadership which has to be www.4international.me.

 

It is necessary to defend Mladic unconditionally. The Serbs had a full right to use whatever methods it decided to use. In the war against the Nazis by the freedom fighters opposed to the Nazis (The resistance) nobody has ever, i mean ever, criticised the methods of The Resistance to Hitler.

 

Same with the Serbs today. Same with the Jews of Israel today.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg defended his longstanding police commissioner last week after revelations about his role in a vicious anti-Muslim film widely shown to city police officers as part of “counterterrorism” training in 2010.

Muslim civil rights activists and their supporters gathered on the steps of City Hall on January 26 to demand that Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and police spokesman Paul Browne resign. Kelly provided a lengthy interview for the film, The Third Jihad, which was screened for nearly 1,500 officers.

After a yearlong cover-up, Kelly was forced to admit that he cooperated with the makers of the film. While including a hollow claim that it does not accuse all Muslims, the movie argues that most Muslim-Americans are involved in a stealth campaign to promote terrorism.

The demands for social equality and genuine democratic rights can be won only through a conscious revolutionary struggle of workers and peasants against the junta and its defenders, from the right and nominal left. It means building a mass movement aimed at bringing a workers’ government to power.

To conduct this struggle, Egyptian workers need two things: an international socialist strategy and their own independent fighting organisations. The way forward lies in the fight to unite Egyptian workers and the rural poor with their brothers and sisters throughout the region in a combined struggle against capitalist exploitation and imperialist oppression, for the United Socialist States of the Middle East, as part of a struggle for world socialist revolution. This requires the building of the revolutionary leadership of the International Committee of the Fourth International.

The second is a plain lie. Mubarak was not brought down by other than Obama. It was Obama who turfed Mubarak out. This was just the end of the US and Western Capitalist Governments aim to create Sharia states in the world.

 

Capitalism likes Sharia.

 

Sharia is used to discipline the masses of the poor and is a form of Fascism.

 

The one key thing about Mubarak is that he too, along with Ben Ali, Gaghbo, Mubarak and Gadhafi, all opposed Sharia. The US Government and all Western Governments, especially Europe, support the creation of Sharia states.

The only way to stop Sharia in Egypt was through Mubarak. Obama pulled the rug from under Obama. Obama fell. the Sharia takes over.

In the third extract above the wsws use this rhetoric about workers and poor peasants of Egypt etc., but the wsws has helped to remove Mubarak, who had long been the bulwark against the Muslim Brotherhood and Sharia.

 

Obama was always all for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. When he took power his first phone call was made known to be to Abbas, and his first meethjing was when he travelled to Cairo and insisted that the Muslim Brothnerhood be present at his conference.

 

That is the same Muslim Brotherhood whom Mubarak had kept out of political life.

 

Yet the wsws was all for (in the above extracts) the taking down of Mubarak through what they call “revolutions”

 

With “revolutions” like this which the wsws promote the working class anywhere does not have any chance.

The issue of the destruction of Yugoslavia remains as yet a mystery.

The Serbs had fought with the Allies to defeat the Nazis. Had collective memory ended?

Leading in destroying their nation was their former allies, but those allies were now joined with precisely the Germans and Muslims, precisely those they had fought against together. What had happened?

On the one hand this was a terrible betrayal of trust, a moral issue.

But on the other it calls again into question the nature of the war against the Nazis especially in so far as the elites were concerned.

This also raises the issue of the war itself. It is a fact that Trotsky never gave his support to the war because he reasoned that it was an imperialist war, a war between the Imperialists.

I do not think that this meant that Trotsky would oppose war actions against the Nazis. After all Trotsky had called (IN 1933!) for the Red Army to act against Hitler.

But it WAS an imperialist war and this was demonstrated most clearly when the British, French and Americans were recruiting tens of thousands of top Nazis into their anti-communist movements even before the Jews were out of the death camps. They were recruiting the very killers of the Jews. So what was the talk about liberty etc. of Churchill all about!?

Yet if the “Desert Rats” who were British forces not defeated Rommel in North Africa then the Jews of Palestine would have been genocided in total since the Nazis under Gehlen, who was under Hajj Amin el Husseini and Himmler/Eichmann, were ready to move in.

Then again a little later the nephew of top Nazi Hajj Amin el Husseini, a man who became known as Yasser Arafat, was essentially recruited by the US and Europe, with the Norwegians to the front, to plan a new Holocaust of the Jews in the First and Second so-called Intifadas.

THIS was the context of the destruction of Yugoslavia.

On the surface it looked as if the likes of the Guardian had turned on their former ally, the Serbs, and were supporting the Nazis behind Izetbegovic.

But it was just more of the same.

The alliance against Hitler’s Nazis was thus opportunist. They had joined precisely those Nazis in 1945. So their betrayal of the Serbs who HAD fought the Nazis in the Second World War should not have been that big a surprise.

But it was and the Serb leaders did not fully understand that

But Trotsky was to change very much as the 30s went on.

Trotsky was much influenced by the way that Stalin used antisemitism inside Russia and indeed Trotsky came to advocate a Jewish state in Palestine.

Trotsky became the first Zionist from a true revolutionary socialist viewpoint. That is what links the Serb issue, and the Jewish issue, partly religious freedom that Marx stood for, and partly the nation, nationalism.

It is late in the day and we have to urgently build a cadre of fighters who understand these issues. And build this cadre in a period of capitalist crisis.

There is a link between the Mladic trial and the capitalist crisis driving millions onto the dole.

Overview

July 11 is the tenth anniversary of the recapture of the East Bosnian town of Srebrenica by Bosnian Serb troops. In coming weeks we will be sending you a number of pieces challenging the official story about Srebrenica. According to the official account, after the Serbs re-took Srebrenica, they slaughtered 8000 Muslim men.

Why should people read articles challenging this massacre story? After all, it’s consistent with what one has been told: that Srebrenica was a safe haven where the UN was supposed to protect Muslims from supposedly murderous Serbs; that the Muslims, portrayed in the media as an oppressed group, were moderate and tolerant while the Serbs were supposedly fanatical Muslim-haters with a Hitlerian vision of a mono-ethnic state; that therefore it was no surprise that when the Serbs took Srebrenica, they supposedly killed thousands of Muslims as fast as they could.

Why should you read material challenging the Srebrenica massacre story when you, dear reader, have limited time and you may have read nothing in the media that would cast doubt on any of the above?

My answer is, that is precisely why you should be skeptical about the massacre story. 

Permit me to explain.

The credibility of the official massacre story depends on the credibility of media coverage of Yugoslavia in general and of what happened in Eastern Bosnia, including Srebrenica, in particular.  If that coverage has been objective, why should one entertain the possibility that the entire media has manufactured or gone along with lies about a supposed giant massacre? 

How might the media objectively cover a bitter conflict like the one in Bosnia?  First, it would endeavor to fairly report what each side said, giving them equal time.  Then it would investigate claims.  For example, if each side accused the other of spreading hate propaganda, the media might publish each side’s claims and then compare those claims to samples of each side’s propaganda, both written material and what was said at rallies and in mass meetings.  If each accused the other of atrocities, the media could publish the accounts of both sides, and then do hard investigative work to see who – if anyone – was telling the truth. It would hunt for lies, because what people lie about is most revealing.

If you are like most, you have no idea what the Serbs said about what happened in and around Srebrenica from the time the Bosnian war started in the spring of 1992 until the so-called fall of Srebrenica in 1995.  No idea at all.  And therein lies the evidence that the media cannot be trusted about Srebrenica: because in fact, the Serbs said, and published, a great deal about Muslim extremist atrocities against them, but the Western media published virtually none of it. What was published by the Western media stands out for the same reason that gold stands out, because it is rare.

For the Western media to have lied for the past ten years about Srebrenica assumes that the media has been organized, by whatever means, to distort information.  It is hard – and rather awful – to believe that such a level of organization for lying could exist. But exactly the same level of organization is required in order for the entire media not to have sought out Serbian eye-witness accounts and human interest stories, to have suppressed almost all evidence of funerals of Serb victims, news reports in the Serbian media, documents and photographs distributed by the government of Serbia and by the Bosnian Serb government and army, and so on. The public is unaware of the existence of such data because the media has suppressed almost all of it. You, by the very fact that you have not seen this material, are living proof.

Let me give you an example. 

In June 1993 the United Nations published a 132-page report entitled “Memorandum on War Crimes and Crimes of Genocide in Eastern Bosnia (communes of Bratunac, Skelani and Srebrenica) committed against the Serbian population from April 1992 to April 1993.” Note the dates: April 1992 was the very beginning of the war in Bosnia.  The Serbs charged that from the outset of the war the so-called Bosnian government (they say it was a government run by a faction of Muslims, the extremist faction) had a policy of genocide against Serbs.

You never heard of this document? I am not surprised.  I checked with the Lexis-Nexis media search engine. I could not find a single English-language newspaper or TV news program that reported that it existed. 

The point is, in order for the public to come to any judgment about the accuracy of this UN document, it had to know the document existed and what was in it. To that end, the media of course should have reported the existence of said document and what it charged, with extensive quotations in newspapers of record such as the New York Times, and it should have seriously investigated the horrific charges. 

The undeniable fact that most people, at least (but not only) in the NATO countries, are completely ignorant of what the Serbs wrote and said about Muslim extremist crimes against Serbs in Eastern Bosnia, including Srebrenica, is sufficient to make a prima facie case that media reporting concerning Eastern Bosnia, including Srebrenica, has been anti-Serb propaganda, not news.  Thus there is every reason for you to be skeptical concerning media claims about a supposed huge massacre by Serbs in Srebrenica.  By suppressing virtually everything said and written by the Serbian side in the bitter Bosnian conflict, the media has perjured itself.  Would you accept, on faith, the word of a perjured witness?

The horror that Bosnian Serbs suffered at the hands of Muslims in the vicinity of Srebrenica is no secret. The Yugoslav State Commission for War Crimes submitted a 132 page study presenting this Serbian suffering as early as May 24, 1993 to the United Nations Security Council. Representatives of Republika Srpska (the Bosnian Serb Republic) were not allowed to submit similar documents because  Republika Srpska was not recognized by the United Nations. Yugoslavia, as a UN member state (since 1945) and one of its  founding nations, was allowed to submit this document.

The Security Council admitted the study as an official United Nations document. The document was given UN id numbers A/46/171 and S/25635 and dated 2 June 1993.

Many UN documents, crucial for understanding the civil wars in Bosnia in 1990’s, were, on American insistence, declared classified. But this document was not. Its distribution was marked “General.” Any Western journalist could have stopped by room GA57 in the basement of the U.N. Building at the corner of 46th Street and 1st Ave. in New York and gotten a copy. Or they could just called the U.N. Public Inquiry Office at (212) 963-4475 and ordered it.

If the contents of this document are false, why didn’t the Western media report it and refute it?  Its suppression eloquently proclaims its validity and the dishonesty of the media that suppressed the very news of its existence.

Just recently I noticed that somebody called John Peter Maher has provided us with a vital piece of evidence. The place was interesting. The writer was responding to the scurrilous attack on the Serbs and Karadzic by Pajamas Media and Phyllis Chesler. I wish to report the highlights of this research here because it confirms other research that I have been doing in recent times on the record of Irish newspaper of record The Irish Times.

 

I discovered hundreds of articles on the Irish Times all asserting the Massacre of 8000 men and boys, which is a hoax. I reckoned this means that there would be a major article on this Srebrenica issue in the Irish Times of about one every ten days.

 

But there were none at the time of the alleged massacre, and none for at least a couple of months after the alleged event. In other words there was a very strange gap.

 

This simple fact backs up the reports of the Dutch soldiers (not the Dutch politicians) on the ground who stated that they knew of no murders by the Serbs.

 

 

That is basically no Srebrenica Massacre for the Irish Times to report on at all until it was essentially put together by false stories by a whole number of people connected with the EU, Dutch politicians (but not Dutch soldiers who were on the spot, US politicians in the UN like Albright etc etc.

 

 

The putting together of the story thus needed time. It also needed ambiguity and mystery.

 

 

So for example these liars created a mystery about missing Muslims which they numbered as thousands of missing Muslims. They were not missing at all. Those thousands had reached Tuzla. So this initial period is very important to understand how this Lie was created. The great strength of the work of this writer is that he focusses on just this period.

 

 

Hence in reading those comments in answer to the scurrilous piece by Phyllis Chesler I fairly pricked up my ears when I saw what John Peter Maher was writing.

 

At least Pajamas Media allows some dissenting opinion although some of our readers and supporters have been censured.

 

But in any case this one reader has placed a number of comments which are a direct challenge to the whole of the Srebrenica Hoax story. I will reprint some of his work here and I thank that writer for his invaluable contribution.

 

It is so important because it deals with the period immediately following the retaking of Srebrenica, and especially during that first month until Albright made her false accusations to the closed session of the Security Council of the UN. That is the key period to understanding how the greatest hoax in the history of humanity was created.

When did commentators first start using the formulation, the catch phrase, “The Srebrenica Massacre [of x-thousands of Muslim men and boys]”?

When did the “Srebrenica Massacre” story break?

No reports from 10 July 1995 and the immediately ensuing days and weeks ever refer to “the massacre of 8000 (or 7000 etc) Muslim men and boys”.

FROM Iran, no mention of a massacre having taken place:

From the front, no mention of a massacre having taken place:

Reports from the front in mid-July 1995, e.g. Chris Hedges in the New York Times of 18 July 1995, reported that thousands of armed Muslim fighters “slipped” through Serb lines under fire and arriving safe in Tuzla, held by Muslim forces (and a US garrison).

The lag time between as yet unbaptized “Srebrenica Massacre” on 10-11 July 1995 and the first press reports is over a month. David Rohde, who spearheaded the story that became known as “the Srebrenica Massacre”, did not himself use any such phrase or make such a claim. In his story, in the Guardian of 19 August 19 1995 we find “…I saw what appeared to be a decomposing human leg protruding from freshly turned dirt…” He repeated Albright’s fabrication about a massacre in a soccer stadium in a nearby town, [where] human faeces, blood, and other evidence indicated large numbers of people were confined, and perhaps shot.” Also: “United Nations official estimate that 4,000 to 6,000 Muslim men are still missing in the wake of the Srebrenica and Zepa assaults.”

Zbigniew Brzezinski:
The news would have still been hot when Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote an Op-Ed piece in “The New Republic” of 7 August 1995, under the headline: AFTER SREBRENICA. Zbig Brzezinski says only that something awful “might” happen.

Nowhere does Brzezinski mention a “Srebrenica massacre”. That catch phrase does not appear until weeks after the alleged event. It will not be found in the press until the American-sponsored Croatian “Storm” (Oluja) on Serb Krajina in August-September 1995.

(In)Consistency: Madeleine Korbel Albright, whose “Albright Group” now has the franchise for the cell phone business in Kosovo, brought the earliest allegation of a Serb massacre of Muslims on August 11, 1995. The chief United States delegate to the United Nations told a closed session of the Security Council that 2,000 to 2,700 missing Bosnians from the Srebrenica enclave might have been shot by the Bosnian Serbs.– She did not use the formulation “Srebrenica massacre.”

So, the numbers in Albright’s document and subsequent tellings and re-tellings are not consistent. What this implies we know from the Book of Daniel, chapter 13, where Susanna is denounced by corrupt Elders. Since their testimonies were inconsistent, as Daniel showed by “debriefing” the corrupt judges separately, the judges were condemned for bearing false witness.

Just to repeat what John Peter Maher said once more:

The hoax was constructed around the whole lie, or speculation, that there were thousands missing.

 

 

By about 2 weeks later though Chris Hedges of the New York Times no less had totally taken the ground from under that speculation with his article that the thousands missing had reached Tuzla, a Muslim and US controlled stronghold.

 

 

Hence as Maher points out a dearth of reports in the Media because essentially there was nothing to report on.

 

This Srebrenica Massacre is a Giant Lie. It never happened. It was made to happen by the repetition hundreds of thousands of times by a World Media which is totally corrupt.

 

 

To understand this giant lie you have to understand the giant corruption in this giant world media that capitalism and imperialism has inflicted upon us.

SREBRENICA WAS A PLACE WHERE BOSNIAN MUSLIMS HAD SLAUGHTERED CHRISTIAN SERB SMALL FARMING PEOPLE FOR YEARS

 

 

These are writers who are sympathetic to the Serb cause. As the trial goes on we on www.4international.me will deal with their take in more detail.

 

But let us put one issue to rest where it is clear indeed that www.4international.me is really not reading off the same page at all as these writers of the following article. I can illustrate this by extracting one sentence which appears near to the end. It is:

 

Ratko Mladic may or may not be a war criminal depending on different opinions; however, if he is a war criminal then where are the Bosnian Muslim war criminals…

 

There is precisely where www.4international.me parts company with these writers.

 

They are not defending Mladic at all.

 

The context is that western capitalism, the US, all the European states, even Canada and Austrlia, had joined with Islam Jihadists aginst the Serbs.

 

In that context how could any Serb, including Mladic, be guilty of anything. The Serbs in those conditions chose their methods to fight to defend themselves. Who are these three writers here to criticise in the slightest what methods to use!?

 

At that point these 3 writers step into the camp of Kamm and Hoare.

 

As in the case of Abyssinia, and in the case of Leon Trotsky in his unconditional defence of haile selassie, our defence of  Mladic, Milosevic and all other fighters on the Serbs side, I say ALL, is one of UNCONDITIONAL DEFENCE

 

I have for many years been a critic of Mr Ed Harman and others on this very issue. In defence of Mladic, and in defence of the Serbs over the issue of Srebrenica, the defence must be UNCONDITIONAL

The trial of Ratko Mladic will be sweet music to the American agenda, the “Muslim victim card,” to cover-up the international terrorist ratlines which allowed terrorists to enter Bosnia, to cover-up the role of the Bosnian Muslim leadership in allowing Srebrenica to happen; and so forth. Therefore, the trial of Ratko Mladic is aimed at shaming the Bosnian Serbs and to pin all the blame on one side. Irrespective of the guilt of this individual this distortion is beyond what is reasonable because it is based on covering-up the real events of what happened. Indeed, the BBC today, like other major agencies, will mention the slaughter of 7,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica but ignore the 3,500 Orthodox Christians who were slaughtered by Muslim forces before this event took place. These massacres apply to killing Orthodox Christians in and around Srebrenica, irrespective if they were little girls to old and elderly people.

 

It is this usual “good” versus “evil” whereby the mass simplicity of many media outlets not only shames the international media, but it makes you doubt everything that you read. For example, when terrorists in Iraq strike, the BBC states clearly that terrorists have struck. However, when terrorists strike in Syria then the BBC casually hints that “the opposition claims that it is the responsibility of the Syrian army.” Of course, such manipulation of language is part of the problem and the simplicity of outsiders who ignore whole histories and why such hatred exists, is just thrown away. The same also applies to the real motives behind the conflict in the first place.

Indeed, it is “pure colonialism” whereby the histories of the “hated” are belittled and the past is re-written by individuals with an agenda which is far from liberal. Therefore, all history must be forgotten in order to dehumanize the Serbs and the same applies to massacres committed against the Serbian people.

Before, focusing on Srebrenica, Ratko Mladic, and historical realities, some clarity must be given. All sides in the Bosnian conflict committed atrocities irrespective of religion or in the name of different ethnic nationalist movements. Therefore, many Catholics were massacred, many Muslims were massacred, many Orthodox Christians were massacred and you also had internal Muslim massacres which emanated around the border zones of Bosnia and Croatia.

Also, without a shadow of a doubt and despite the complex nature of Srebrenica and the final events which took place; it is clear that thousands of Muslims were killed by Bosnian Serbs who desired revenge. This fact can’t be glossed over no more than can the massacres against the Orthodox Christians of Srebrenica and the surrounding region by Bosnian Muslim forces. Either side, or international media outlets which desire to gloss over this reality and distort to the point of propaganda, merely shame the victims and themselves for spreading hatred.

Is this new, sadly not because all civil wars are brutal and massacres will take place on all sides. During World War Two the United States dropped two nuclear bombs on the civilians of Japan and did horrendous carpet bombing. The British likewise did carpet bombing against Germany. Similarly, Japanese and German forces massacred many civilians. War crimes of course depend on the writ of the victors. Therefore, the slaughter of killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in Nagasaki, Hiroshima, and the carpet bombing of Tokyo is deemed to be “humanity.” After all, did the individuals who ordered Nagasaki, Hiroshima, and the carpet bombing of Tokyo, face war crimes?

Srebrenica and quotes from powerful individuals

The UNPROFOR commander, French General Philippe Morillon, recounts that “the Serbs took me to a village to show me the evacuation of the bodies of the inhabitants that had been thrown into a hole, a village close to Bratunac. And this made me understand the degree to which this infernal situation of blood and vengeance […] led to a situation when I personally feared that the worst would happen if the Serbs of Bosnia managed to enter the enclaves and Srebrenica.”

“I feared that the Serbs, the local Serbs, the Serbs of Bratunac, these militiamen, they wanted to take their revenge for everything that they attributed to Naser Oric. It wasn’t just Naser Oric that they wanted to revenge, take their revenge on; they wanted to revenge their dead on Orthodox Christmas.”

On February 12, 2004, Philippe Morillon testified at The Hague Tribunal that Bosnian Muslim forces under Naser Oric “engaged in attacks during Orthodox (Christian) holidays and destroyed villages, massacring all the inhabitants. This created a degree of hatred that was quite extraordinary in the region.”

Indeed, it is reported that approximately 3,500 Orthodox Christians in and around Srebrenica had been killed by Muslim forces during the brutal conflict. This applies to beheadings, individuals being burnt alive, and other ghastly and brutal torture methods. Therefore, the 5,500 plus Muslim fighting unit under Naser Oric was famous for its brutality and clearly the hatred on both sides in this part of Bosnia was unique. After all, Muslim forces loyal to Fikret Abdic had been allies of the Serbs on the border areas of Bosnia and Croatia in the western area. These Muslim forces fought against Alija Izetbegovic because they didn’t follow his Islamic aspirations.

Srdja Trifkovic who is an historian comments that “It is often pointed out that Srebrenica was an UN “protected zone,” but it is seldom noted that the enclave was simultaneously an armed camp used for attacks against Serb villages in the surrounding areas. Muslim General Sefer Halilovic confirmed in his testimony at the Hague Tribunal that there were at least 5,500 Bosnian Army soldiers in Srebrenica after it had obtained the “safe haven” status, and that he had personally arranged numerous deliveries of sophisticated weapons by helicopter.”

The importance of the above quote is that the Muslim General Sefer Halilovic acknowledges the sizeable Bosnian Muslim armed forces in Srebrenica and that sophisticated weapons were delivered. This was a strange “protected zone” which not only allowed the Bosnian Muslim units to slaughter Serbians in surrounding areas but it also enabled re-militarization. Of course, the same process is now happening in Syria whereby the opposition obtains more external military support, while at the same time the central government is lambasted for being militarist. It is not only blatant double standards but it is the direct covert participation of outside forces, who then manipulate the media in order to distort the “real picture” on the ground.

Srdja Trifkovic also comments that “During the Bosnian war between May 1992 and July 1995, several thousand Muslim men lost their lives in Srebrenica and its surroundings. Most of them died in July of 1995 when the enclave fell unexpectedly to the Bosnian Serb Army and the Muslim garrison attempted a breakthrough. Some escaped to the Muslim-held town of Tuzla, 38 miles to the north. Many were killed while fighting their way through; and many others were taken prisoner and executed by the Bosnian Serb army.”

Philippe Morillon further testified that the crimes committed by Bosnian Muslim forces were “extraordinary” and made the Serbs’ desire for revenge to be“inevitable.” This does not justify the events that took place once Bosnian Serbian units took control of Srebrenica because like Srdja Trifkovic comments “Many were killed while fighting their way through; and many others were taken prisoner and executed by the Bosnian Serb army.”

However, the media neglect of the massacres against Orthodox Christians in and around Srebrenica – and such leniency taken against Bosnian Muslim individuals who committed such crimes – not only leaves a sour taste – it is a falsification of history and covers up many untold stories which helps to dehumanize the Serbians. It also negates to share responsibility where it belongs – this applies to all parties who committed massacres. This also includes the United States and CIA which conveniently “overlooked” 8,000 of the most brutal and fanatical Islamists to enter Bosnia on false passports in order to slit the throats of Orthodox Christians.

Major-General (Ret) Lewis Mackenzie who is a retired Canadian general also raises serious doubts about so-called “good” and “evil.” In his article called “The real story behind Srebrenica. The massacre in the UN ‘safe haven’ was not a black and white event,” which was published in The Globe and Mail (July 14, 2005), he clearly highlights neglected facts behind the “real” Srebrenica.

Lewis MacKenzie comments that “As the Bosnian Muslim fighters became better equipped and trained, they started to venture outside Srebrenica, burning Serb villages and killing their occupants before quickly withdrawing to the security provided by the UN’s safe haven. These attacks reached a crescendo in 1994 and carried on into early 1995 after the Canadian infantry company that had been there for a year was replaced by a larger Dutch contingent.”

“The Bosnian Serbs might have had the heaviest weapons, but the Bosnian Muslims matched them in infantry skills that were much in demand in the rugged terrain around Srebrenica. As the snow cleared in the spring of 1995, it became obvious to Nasar Oric, the man who led the Bosnian Muslim fighters that the Bosnian Serb army was going to attack Srebrenica to stop him from attacking Serb villages. So he and a large number of his fighters slipped out of town. Srebrenica was left undefended with the strategic thought that, if the Serbs attacked an undefended town, surely that would cause NATO and the UN to agree that NATO air strikes against the Serbs were justified. And so the Bosnian Serb army strolled into Srebrenica without opposition.”

General Morillon comments bluntly about the Muslim warlord called Naser Oric because he states that “Naser Oric was a warlord who reigned by terror in his area and over the population itself. I think that he realized that these were the rules of this horrific war, that he could not allow himself to take prisoners. According to my recollection, he didn’t even look for an excuse. It was simply a statement: One can’t be bothered with prisoners.”

The brutal civil wars throughout the former Yugoslavia led to the ethnic cleansing of Serbians in Krajina. However, not only was nothing done about this, the Croatian forces who did this had been backed by America and other nations during the conflict. Indeed, all sides, irrespective of religion or ethnicity had used similar methodologies in their areas of power.

Also, the ghosts of past Muslim SS Units who supported Nazi Germany alongside Croatian fascists, was still etched into the memory because the events of World War Two were never reconciled under communist rule after the war. Therefore, with this, and the Ottoman Muslim past of enslaving young Orthodox Christian boys and then converting them to Islam – then the fear was not based on myths or on distant memories. On the contrary, the divisions within the former Yugoslavia were witnessed by the surviving elderly generation on all sides whereby histories meant different things.

Lord Owen supports the comments of General Morillon because on page 143 of his book, Balkan Odyssey, the respected Lord Owen comments that “On 16 April I spoke on the telephone to President Milosevic about my anxiety that, despite repeated assurances from Dr. Karadzic that he had no intention of taking Srebrenica, the Bosnian Serb army was now proceeding to do just that. The pocket was greatly reduced in size. I had rarely heard Milosevic so exasperated, but also so worried: he feared that if the Bosnian Serb troops entered Srebrenica there would be a bloodbath because of the tremendous bad blood that existed between the two armies. The Bosnian Serbs held the young Muslim commander in Srebrenica, Naser Oric, responsible for a massacre near Bratunac in December 1992 in which many Serb civilians had been killed. Milosevic believed it would be a great mistake for the Bosnian Serbs to take Srebrenica and promised to tell Karadzic so.”

Lewis MacKenzie states that “two wrongs never made a right, but those moments in history that shame us all because of our indifference should not be viewed in isolation without the context that created them.”

Many Bosnian Muslim figures also point the finger at Alija Izetbegovic because clearly the power of the Bosnian Serbs in this period was much reduced after the arming of both the Bosnian Muslim forces and military of Croatia. Indeed, how is that Alija Izetbegovic sent Bosnian Muslim forces to crush Muslims loyal to Fikret Abdic in the west – yet, he did nothing apart from notify the Bosnian Muslim military leaders in Srebrenica to abandon this area before Bosnian Serbs entered?

By glossing over the massacres of 3,500 Orthodox Christians in and around Srebrenica; the role of the United States in turning a blind eye to 8,000 international Islamists (some members who did September 11 had learnt much in Bosnia); the actions of the Bosnian Muslim leader, Alija Izetbegovic, in abandoning the Muslim enclave; and other important factors. It entails that Srebrenica is being manipulated for all the wrong reasons and that the dehumanization of the Serbians is a convenient way for Western powers to gloss over the reality on the ground. It also suits the Bosnian Muslim leadership which abandoned the enclave despite fighting against fellow Muslims in the west.

In a past article by one of the writers of this article, it was stated that “… it is clear that “the real Srebrenica” is not being told and the same applies to the “hidden Islamic jihad” which took place during the civil war and how ex-President Bill Clinton gave the green light to Islamists from all over the world to enter Bosnia.”

“Srebrenica should be remembered but it should be remembered in its duality and this applies to thousands of innocent Orthodox Christians and Muslims who were killed by both sides. It also should be remembered that Bosnian Muslim forces had slaughtered thousands of Christians first in the surrounding region of Srebrenica and that the “safe haven” was abused. Military generals from the international community who were in Bosnia state this clearly, and Morillon testified in court.”

The over simplification of major media outlets shames the mass media in general because the same cover up and lack of basic facts, are still being told by major international media agencies. Indeed, the coverage and headlines in some media outlets is bordering on anti-Serbian racism. Also, to gloss over the events of what happened prior to the Bosnian Serbs entering Srebrenica is not merely shoddy journalism, it is open manipulation and propaganda.

If healing is to take place in Bosnia between the various communities which share two entities, then all sides must acknowledge that massacres took place within each community. The alternative is that “hatred” will be manipulated by extremist Bosnian Muslims and likewise, extremists in the Bosnian Serbian community will manipulate the open bias towards them. Tens of thousands of individuals were killed on all sides and if the next generation is to rebuild then it can only rebuild under a fair and honest approach.

Ratko Mladic may or may not be a war criminal depending on different opinions; however, if he is a war criminal then where are the Bosnian Muslim war criminals? For that matter, where are the American war criminals which dropped Agent Orange over Vietnam and so forth? This is the problem because leading powers can bomb nations in distant lands because nothing ever happens. After all, they control all the power mechanisms. Therefore, one hundred thousand Iraqis are allowed to be killed because of failed policies because leading nations will not be held accountable.

Also, from the point of view of Ratko Mladic, if 3,500 Orthodox Christians were killed despite Bosnian Serbian units trying to contain the Bosnian Muslim units; then how many Orthodox Christians would have been slaughtered by Naser Oric and Muslim units if the Bosnian Serbian units had not been able to contain the Muslim forces to a certain degree?

Given the statement by General Morillon that Naser Oric had commented that “One can’t be bothered with prisoners” and then times this by the massacres that units did under him; then clearly Ratko Mladic is viewed differently by segments of the Bosnian Serbian community who were protected by units under him. After all, if Naser Oric and Bosnian Muslim units had been able to kill thousands of Bosnian Serbs despite the armed forces of the Bosnian Serbs in eastern Bosnia. Then it is clear that units under him would have killed untold numbers if they had been given a free reign and this applies to beheadings and burning people alive.

It is clear that hatred in this part of Bosnia was unsurpassed compared with other areas and this is based on the brutality of both sides. Also, Bosnian Muslim leaders point the finger at the Bosnian Muslim leadership in Sarajevo which abandoned the Muslim enclave. It is clear that many events are extremely murky and have been covered up in order to suit several important agendas.

Professor Muhamed Filipovic, Bosnian ambassador to the United Kingdom (1994-96), commented that Alija Izetbegovic had given the Bosnian Serbs the green light to enter Srebrenica. He states that “Serbians are going to be allowed to enter Srebrenica” before they did without any Muslim units fighting. This was ordered by Alija Izetbegovic because of an agreement with the Bosnian Serbs.

Hakija Meholjic, former Srebrenica police chief, states that “We saw the treachery. Both by Alija Izetbegovic and by the international community – There are just good and bad people in every nation. Alija was a bad man.”

It is therefore essential that all areas surrounding the reality of what happened in and around Srebrenica is debated openly, irrespective of the “bad light” that may ensue on both the Bosnian Muslim and Bosnian Serbian leadership. It is known that thousands of innocent Muslims and Orthodox Christians were killed by both sides. Also, senior figures within the Bosnian Muslim leadership in authority, and within Srebrenica, make it clear that Alija Izetbegovic sacrificed Srebrenica. He also did this despite knowing the brutal reality of what Bosnian Muslim forces had done prior to the Bosnian Serbs entering.

The ongoing war crime of Ratko Mladic won’t address these important areas and instead “a whitewash” awaits the final verdict. Therefore, the role of major media institutions in ignoring the enormous complexity of Srebrenica is nullifying the real issues of what happened, both prior, during, and after the Bosnian Serb units entered Srebrenica.

This means that the open manipulation of events suits both the Bosnian Muslim government and Western powers which played “a dirty game” during a brutal civil war. Irrespective of the final verdict against Ratko Mladic, it is clear that he is “a scapegoat” in many areas even if he was responsible for war crimes which led to the deaths of many Muslims.

The first words that Ratko Mladic spoke to the court were significant ones. Asked to confirm his name, he was deliberate: “Ja sam General Ratko Mladic.” “I am General Ratko Mladic.” Not a simple assent. Not even his given name, but The General.

As the hearing began he toyed with some stalling tactics…(That claim by Beaumont gives a flavour of The Guardian reporting on this. Actually Mladic is quite an ill man and as events have proved the Prosecution have been withholding vital evidence from the Defence)

 

He would, he explained, be defending not himself but his “country and his people”. The gestures and facial tics – both bidden and unbidden – have supplied further clues to what is in store when Ratko Mladic’s defence against charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and breaches of the laws and customs of war gets under way.

At one stage he shook his head at the mention in the summary of the indictment that he oversaw the murder of up to 8,000 men and boys in Srebrenica. More telling was a little swallowed laugh when Srebrenica was mentioned again.

There was a faint smirk too when he was charged with holding UN peacekeepers and observers hostage during the Nato bombing campaign.

What seems clear is that having told prosecutors in Serbia that he did not recognise the tribunal in The Hague, Mladic, former commander of Bosnian Serb forces who laid siege to Sarajevo and committed war crimes in municipalities across Bosnia, is unlikely to be able to avoid grandstanding in the witness box. The soldier who once warned his political master Radovan Karadzic that his plan of “ethnic cleansing” would be seen as amounting to genocide has not changed in his years in hiding. The man Serb prosecutors said after his arrest was desperate to “communicate” will use the soap box of The Hague to tell his own version of history to those many who still regard him as a hero.

There were hints of what attitudes he still maintains. Asked what languages he understood, Mladic explained tendentiously he understood his mother tongue of Serbian, pointedly adding he understood Macedonian – essentially the same language. Not Croatian, mind, or Bosniak, identical in most ways, the language spoken by Orthodox Christians from an Orthodox culture.

He condemned too the “denouncers” speaking “monstrous rubbish” in the words of the indictment, setting the stage for what is likely to be his argument in his defence – that the Bosnian Serbs were the victims, not those victimising.

Perhaps this is what he would have alluded to had the judge allowed him to carry on describing where he was born and in what circumstances – during the second world war – a history lesson that was cut short.

But there will be plenty such instructions in the weeks and months to come of how Bosnian Serbs suffered through history up to the present day. It was after all Bosnian Serbs who fled during the second world war who sheltered him in the village of Lazarevo.

Over the years he enjoyed the same protection from soldiers, priests, villagers and businessmen, all of whom shared the same view that Ratko Mladic has of himself: a hero of the Serbian people, a victim of history and the west, a man more sinned against than sinning.

Now at last he has the chance to tell that story about himself after being silenced for all this time.

But it IS the Srebrenica Massacre that is up for debate.

 

www.4international.me is not at all alone in stating that this “Srebrenica Massacre” is one of the biggest lie ever.

 

It is up there with the Big Lie that the Jews drove the Arabs from their lands in 1948. That just did not happen. The Arabs left, not fled, but left, as part of a calculated attempt to genocide the Jews.

 

Just keep in mind that according to mallmann/Cuppers research that in 1942 the Nazis had a team of exterminators staning on the ready in Athes, ready to move in and carry out The Final Solution in Palestine. The Desert Rats defeated Rommel and ACCIDENTALLY saved the Jews of Palestine.

 

THAT WAS A MERE 6 YEARS BEFORE 1948.

 

Similarly the late 80s was a mere 40n years following the extermination of the Serbs/Jews/Gypsies in Bosnia, and Izetbegovic, the leader of the Bosnian Muslims in the 90s was involved with Hajj Amin el Husseini in the Holocaust against the Serbs.

 

The Guardian reporting on this trial will have to be exposed and we will do it!
