The defence of Israel as the Jewish Homeland is also the war internationally against Islam, and it must also be the war against political elites in the world in general, especially a necessary war against the Vatican (bit not against the Christian or Catholic people who themselves are being betrayed by the Churches and the Vatican in their own struggle against Islam)

 

As if all that were not hard enough remember also that we live in a period of deepening crisis in the international capitalist system where the drive in the world is towards class dictatorship, morphing into Fascist states. The latter raises the issue, as it has always historically done, of growing Antisemitism. This Antisemitism has something new, a coalition of US Presidents, of anti-Marxist Fascistsm of Islam and all against Jews and Israel.

 

Sherman performs a useful role in pointing to the bankruptcy of “Right” as well as “Left” in Israel. He is aware that this absence of principled leadership poses the greatest dangers for Israel, for the Jews of Israel, as well as the Jews in the Diaspora, including in America who are losing their Jewishness, and are being absorbed into the forces of American Imperialism.

 

However Martin Sherman tries to fix the problem from within the Jewish ideology of Judaism (more or less) and he cannot go outside of the Jewish experience, towards Trotskyism.

 

Sherman with many others is correct in identifying the two factors, geographical and demographic, as being central issues.

 

Sherman proposes paying Arabs in Palestine who want to leave and create a future for themselves a notable grant which may well be appealing.

 

This however, ALTOUGH 4INTERNATIONAL DOES NOT OPPOSE IT, is a little bit of sidestepping of the issue.

 

The issue that needs to be hammered out inside the international movement including the international working class movement is:

 

1. Israel is the Homeland of the Jewish people
2. The issue raises the issue of nation, because the Jews have 4000 years of history as a nation, the longest in existence
3. This issue of nation runs into conflict with the demands of international capitalism in crisis, and its need for dictatorial central control, wrongly called sometimes “NEW” World Order. Not New…Hitler attempted the same.
4. The Palestinians are not a nation but a carefully manufactured concept of Antisemitism existing since roughly 1967. It is a meme becoming a law through repetition. That is the central thing that must be tackled head on.
5. The issue of nation also runs into conflict with modern day anti-Marxists because although there was a tendency to dismiss Nation (for obvious reasons) by the time of Leon Trotsky in the 1930s, the main socialist revolutionary leader of the times there was a serious reversal by Leon Trotsky. Trotsky came to stand for Jewish nation and for Ukrainian nation (and Nationhoods)

 

 

These are issues that are far more important than paying these “Palestinians” to find a home elsewhere. That is a tactic that CAN be used but it is only a tactic. The concept of the Jewish Homeland and Nation must be advanced far more as a priority. I notice that Sherman was given support by a character called “Curious American” who advances the Palestinian Fascist cause continually. That is the danger.

 

4international is also opposed to all concepts of A B or C including the hundreds of variations as advanced often by that centrist Jew Ted Belman. 4international says to Belman state your ground and fight for it.

 

Lay down the basis. The International People laid down the law in the early 1920s. Jordan is the Jewish Homeland, and still is. Certainly is Golan, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria, as well as Israel as it is today. All that was stolen from the Jews by World Antisemitism. Sinai was won in rightful struggle.

 

That is the position of 4international. THAT is the position that the centrist Ted Belman could never hold.

 

Towards that position we hold and along the way we are prepared to advance tactically. We may accept temporary compromise but on principles never veer from.

 

Only a Trotskyist Party can advance both tactically and strategically, both concepts which are in a unity and conflict of opposites. The conflict between the two have to be kept inside of the unity.

 

We are in a new period. We do not want to be messing around with bank balances. We want to advance a revolutionary and a strategic programme.

 

A/ Only Jews live in Israel. All others, that is non-Jewish, are there by invitation, they are guests and if they understand that they are guest they can be honoured guests.

B/ Israel is what was laid down by the International Peoples in 1920 as outlined above

C/ The struggle against Fascism, Racism, Antisemitism today is meaningless if the above concept of Israel is not fought for. That is what distinguishes 4international as revolutionaries today, and as being against anti-Marxist leftist pro-Fascists…

CAROLINE GLICK ON FRANCIS WANTS TO TIE THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO COMMUNIST HATRED

Did the Jewish leaders like Caroline Glick not know what to expect when Pope Francis came to Jerusalem. If Glick had any political sense then she would have known that nothing but trouble lay in store for the Jewish people who have always faced deep threat from the Vatican.

In our times there was only one Pope, Benedict, who confronted the reality of Islam and therefore Palestinianism, but following his famous address he withdrew and retreated from the Jihad, which was threatening not only himself Benedict but of course millions of Christians in Muslim countries. Reality of Islam.

Francis has never said one word against Islam. He thinks it is a religion of peace led astray by a few extremists. His Christians are being decimated and he talks like that all of the time.

Caroline Glick is a major problem for the Jewish people today. She presents Jews in Israel with the presence of at least 40 per cent Muslims. How could that work given what we see in Europe. Some special magic perhaps!

This is carried on in her position on everything, including this Pope visit.

In the following extract from her latest article she is actually saying that John Paul 2 that hated bigot and pro-Imperialist, was actually a friend of the Jews. At least that is what I read. Consider this:

In tying Jews to the hoodlum Anti-Communist John Paul 2, Glick is also tying Jews to the Argentine dictatorship, which as everybody knows was also a fight against “communism” and directed by the CIA, and is tying Jews to the actions of Pope Francis then head of the Jesuits in Argentina. “It is a lie, because he met our family about this very issue during the dictatorship,” says Ms de la Cuadra, who says her father told Fr Bergoglio his daughter was pregnant.

In a 2011 signed statement Cardinal Bergoglio said he was not told the disappeared woman was pregnant. But even so his claim of ignorance about the plight of pregnant detainees is hard to reconcile with the role played in publicising the issue by Ms de la Cuadra’s mother and the other founders of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, the group that campaigned for information about their missing loved ones…

It must be said that right across the board (speaking of Israeli leadership) that challenge is not being met and I predict will not be met by present leaders.

 

The present leaders remind me of the driver of a badly damaged Grand prix car, where the driver tries to steer but every jerk of a reluctant steering wheel sends a judder through the whole car (Israeli public) and amid s`pectator gasps causes a further tremor. Such can be said of the latest proposal of Bennett who seems to be an advocate of the discredited theory that if you make your enemy (Palestinians) comfortable in life then they will respond by “liking” you in nirvana friendship never-ending. Sadly that is not so. Antisemitism trumps that. Similarly the proposals by Martin Sherman based on paying Palestinians to make a new life for themselves elsewhere aided by financial grants and other help falls into the same trap. Antisemitism is likely to trump Sherman as well as Bennett.

 

It is all about leadership as far as Jews are concerned, as far as Irish are concerned, as far as ANYBODY is concerned. THAT is the central issue. So it is well to look closely at existing Israeli leaders right across the board. There is need for clarity. In this there are no “friends”! There are indeed colleagues in struggle, brothers in struggle. But there must be open discussion. Give a man a post in a bourgeois government (Bennett) and he stops communicating and be becomes a “prophet”!!! So there needs to be fair discussion where the discussion is carried on with a lot of that elusive quality “FAIRNESS”.

 

Proposed a humanitarian solution to the Palestinians. Why not! We wish no living being ill man or animal and I would say especially our dumb and totally dependent cousins! But wait…let us also have some principles BECAUSE The Palestinians cannot have a lucky or fortunate future under any circumstances or under any way of thinking if they remain Antisemitic, The Palestinians must break from Antisemitism. That involves the Palestinians understanding their own history. The Palestinians must find a concrete way forward but based on that. Bennett says make them prosperous, as Scarlett Johannson that gorgeous creature thinks also, and they will forget all about ideology of Antisemitism, but ideologies do not work like that and the prosperous Palestinian will become more envious and more Antisemitic not less!!!

 

THE GENERAL SITUATION

 

Figures show that Antisemitism is deepest among the Arabs. This is a combination of ethnic hatred of Arabs towards Jews, and the hatred promoted by Islam towards Jews

The religious folk of Israel create a diversion which you must reject because the religious folk do not provide an answer in the real world (of today)
3. The Palestinian loving Jews in Israel which is a widish sward. They all have one thing in common…they do not like Jews and they just love Arabs and seek at every turn to be friends with Arabs. They are dangerous and Steven Plaut often rightly attacks them as such. They blame Israel. They omit history. They live in their own heads. These are in general various leftist Anti-Marxists, various Stalinists as in the Israeli Communist Party, Peace Now idiots, Labourists and renegades from Likud like Livni. Sharon was also a renegade. In general they have the same political philosophy as the German Jews who would or could not fight Hitler, and in the end were forced to try to collaborate with the Nazis. They died anyway. Sometimes no compromise is possible
4. Extreme anti-socialist leaders like Steven Plaut. Plaut falsifies the history of socialism and is a falsifier no more need be said. There are very many bloggers in this category
5. Patriotic Jews with good and factual analyses. They understand the truth. Yet they are caught in the trap of individualism. An individual cannot change history in the sense we are talking about here.
6. The Israeli military..the leadership is politically stupid, totally obtuse, having not understood anything in the past 10 years…Yugoslavia, Mubarak, Gadhafi, Ukraine and of course Assad. In general their obtuseness leads to paralysis. The IDF soldiers are patriotic and intelligent but they are led by political careerist mostly fools and tied to military discipline are a threat to the Jews in the longest run, but in the short term the Jewish people have no other defence
7. The Israeli people…They were mobilising strongly against the Sharon Gaza withdrawal…but without a party to lead the growing revolt of the masses of Israelis was sold out by the Rabbis of the Settler Movement. The individualist activists were powerless and the youth were betrayed.

 

All of this spells up to a crisis of leadership.

 

How to resolve that issue of leadership is a BIG issue. Let us discuss the mechanism.

I am not saying here that Iran today is Germany 1933. But yesterday we said that if Iran had the nuclear bomb then it would use it against the millions of Jews in Israel.

An interim agreement penned last November in Geneva was touted as a “historic nuclear deal.” Under that agreement, Iran — in return for billions of dollars in sanctions relief — limited its enrichment activity to the 5 percent level with a current stockpile of over 10 tons (enough for six nuclear bombs), converted much of its 20 percent enriched stock to harmless oxide and agreed to allow more intrusive inspections of its nuclear plants by the International Atomic Energy Agency, whose inspections were limited to only agreed-on facilities. The final draft of the agreement to address all of Iran’s nuclear facilities and activities, along with its missile program, was planned to be finalized this July. “The Obama administration and its allies were drunken happy after the initial agreement,” said Shariatmadari, who had previously criticized the Iranian negotiating officials for being soft with their Western counterparts. “With this delusion, that with the continuation of negotiations they could wrap up the issue, they had come prepared to Geneva with their demeaning requests of security ‘breakout’ or preventive measures of (possible military dimensions). … To present these conditions as their winning cards on the negotiating table, they could not imagine in their wildest dreams that this time the Iranian negotiators on the other side of the table … were aware of the opponents’ tricks.” The red lines that the Iranian delegation presented, as stated by Shariatmadari, are: • The expansion of Iranian nuclear research and development. • The acceptance of Iran’s need for enrichment on a level that feeds the need of the country (the country has over 19,000 centrifuges, far more than is needed for peaceful nuclear purposes, and would like to expand). • The preservation of the Arak heavy-water plant (the plant once operational could produce plutonium and serve the ruling clerics with a second path to nuclear weapons). • No interference or limitation to the country’s military and defensive measures (the Islamic regime is under U.N. sanctions for developing ballistic missiles and it currently holds the largest missile stockpile in the Middle East with ranges capable of reaching as far as Europe). • The removal of all sanctions at once as opposed to step-by-step relief (the U.N. resolutions and sanctions in place are the results of efforts by several U.S. administrations and over a decade of negotiations). “These (red) lines, which the enemy had never expected to see, at first caused their disbelief and then their anger to the level of shouts and arguments,” Shariatmadari wrote. “The opponents thought that the conditions set by the Iranian delegates were meant to increase (Iran’s) negotiating power, but when faced with their absolute resolve … they realized that their dreams were swept away and that the Geneva 4meeting had failed.” According to a source within the regime’s intelligence community, the leadership will not give up its nuclear ambitions, and the Revolutionary Guards see themselves as the dominating power in the Middle East and beyond. Israel runs out of time on this score. The situation is this. If I have to concrete over my front garden because i cannot stand the weeds. I use one cement mixer and it takes me a week. 3. This is clear 1. Nazis were directly responsible 2. Islam was directly responsible through Hajj Amin el Hussein not one individual mark you, but the representative of Islam 3. The Christians sadly were responsible 4. All the western governments interlinked with Christianity were responsible 5. The Catholics through the Vatican were very directly involved 6. The US becoming the World Leader of Capitalism used the Nazis post 1945 7. Leading US Company IBM made the Holocaust possible 8. The crisis of leadership in the left, in the 1930s Stalin was liquidating in Russia, Spain, France and America/Mexico all of the socialist leaders, thus the concept of Stalinism has to be learned of by a new generation

 

Now this is the key consideration and it is a terrible conclusion…All of the above are present in the present continual attacks being made on Israel

This issue has got one word spelled over it…”Leadership”

 

Where today is the party which can take this issue and go into the ordinary people of America and hammer out by every possible means the implications of this action by the US Government in front of those ordinary American people?

 

And what kind of party will it be? Will it be some kind of socialist party based on principle or will it be some kind of capitalist minded party based also on devotion to the Jewish Israeli people?

 

At this point all I can say is that no such party exists.

 

I believe that the capitalist crisis of 1929 onwards produced the conditions for Hitler to build his movement so I do not go the capitalist road today.

As gold relates to capitalism and is the fall back money in periods of crisis so Antisemitism is the fall back position of humanity in a period of class crisis.

 

I do not think that the Jews I know have internalised this because the starting point for so many nation minded people (which I support that is I support nation hood) is to dny class and class issues never mind the overall class structure of society.

Nigerian states where Boko Haram operates and that implement forms of Sharia

The anti-Marxist and anti-Trotskyist “leftist” group of wsws.org has played down the role of Islam and Jihad in the Nigerian girls kidnapping. That takes some doing does it not?

 

They state a truth, that the US is using the issue of the girls in order to further its own interests in Africa as does the EU, as a counter also against China. In other words the US operates on a world perspective of counter revolution.

 

This fact is underlined today on Atlas Shrugs by Pamela Geller. Pamela documents how in 2013 the US Government of Obama and Humas Rights Watch were threatening the Nigerian Government with sanctions, and the US and EU were taking the side of the Boko Haram. But on which side is the anti-Trotskysit wsws?

 

But in a specific way the wsws are also on the side of the Boko Haram and of Islamist victimhood propaganda, which also is the position of Obama (as an example the Obama 2009 speech in Cairo to which he invited The Muslim Brotherhood and attacked the Mubarak Government) Note well the wsws is on that side of the fence, was then, is now.

The government’s initial reaction to the kidnapping was symptomatic of its attitude toward the country’s predominantly Muslim north, Nigeria’s most impoverished region. The majority of the victims are civilians who have lost their lives both to Boko Haram terrorist attacks and brutal repression directed against the population by Nigerian security forces.

A discussion took place on Talk Radio Europe last Tuesday. As I listened they discussed the Boko Haram issue, then the Ukraine issue.

 

They discussed the Boko Haram issue for 20 minutes and the general drift of the discussion was a determined effort by the two Americans on the show Herta and her husband Nathan Thomas to stop any discussion of the historical roots of Islam. Those two firmly believe that Islam is a religion of Peace that has been hijacked by some extremists. But when it comes to history those two do not want to know.

 

Another regular on the programme called Barry Nathan, a Jewish man who lives in Spain and an ex-Brit, just simply does not know, about history or anything. All his contributions serve as comical but sad diversion.

 

I have to emphasise that the two Americans, the Thomas husband and wife team, were very opposed to an historical understanding of Islam.

 

But this issue is so dominating in today’s world that the second issue up for discussion, the Ukraine, actually swung around once again to discussing Islam.

 

I have to emphasise that this hatred of discussing Islam from an historical perspective is very deep and prevalent. When the issue of dhimmi was brought up by the compere the reaction of especially Herta Thomas was immediate and in polemical terms quite brutal. Sadly she succeeded, with the help of her husband Nathan Thomas (ex ABC lead reporter) so well that the discussion did not deal with the historical record of Islam

MASSACRE IN MARIUPOL: Up to 100 people shot dead by pro-regime forces for celebrating Victory Day over fascism

In the morning of the 9th of May the newly appointed head of the police department in Mariupol, Valery Androschuk has called for a gathering of local police personnel. He was accompanied by the head of the special battalion “Denpr” (a newly formed death squad of neo-nazi). During the meeting the police chief read to the policemen the order to disperse the rally on V…ictory day over fascism and arrest ‘the most active citizens’. This victory day rally is held every year on the 9th of May to remember the victory over Hitler fascism in 1945.

The policemen refused to fulfill the order of the newly appointed chief. Then the head of department Andruschuk shot one of them with a pistol on a rank-and-file policeman. His colleagues immediately shot back – the head of the police department was wounded and the head of the death squad ‘Dnepr’ was killed on the spot. The personnel of police refuse to obey any orders and declared that they would not wage a war against their own people. Androschuk barricaded himself in one of the offices of the building and called the National Guard to help him in the police department. Immediately APCs, ‘National guard’ and Right Sector militants were sent to suppress the defection of the police to the people of the city. Those promptly arrived and started an attack. At least 14 APCs and tanks were deployed to Mariupol by the Ukrainian government. The citizens of the city immediately took to the streets and tried to stop the tanks with their bare hands. In the end they were not successful. And so the tanks started the onslaught onto the city.

Local residents tried to defend their policemen but the “National Guard” started shooting at the civilians in the streets. Then the APCs and “National Guard” surrounded the police department and opened fire with machine guns and RPGs.

Policemen returned fire. In the end the police department was set ablaze. Some of the policemen were burnt alive inside the building. The police chief Valery Androschuk tried to escape from the police building during the assault. Locals caught and beat him. There is no information yet on the fate of the police chief. It is unclear if he could flee. The images show the police station, which burned to the ground.

Unarmed civilians in the city center tried to confront the Ukrainian Army, when it started to kill even more civilians. The retreating Army shot indiscriminately on unarmed civilians, who gathered near the burning police station. Dozens were killed.

According to Russia Today, one of their local reporters was shot and injured. Ukrainian authorities denied a medical jet from Germany that should transport the injured reporter to a hospital the landing.

Then people started to take over. One of the APCs was seized by them. People on the streets started to chase the army and build barricades. The rest of police personnel, who survived the onslaught, joined them. After the strong confrontation the “National Guard” and Right sector militants had to retreat from the town. The mayor also fled the town.

The acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and the government in Kiev stated about the vents that at least 20 “terrorists” (this is how Kiev authorities now dub the unarmed citizens of southeastern Ukraine) were killed and four more were taken captive. According to local residents of Mariupol and doctors from the hospital the death toll of the 9th was up to 100 people who were killed.

Today, on the 10th of May 2014, local residents started a spontaneous rally under slogan: “Glory to our policemen – our defenders! Down with police-murderers and the National guard””. In the afternoon of the day there are still dozens of dead bodies lying around in the streets of the city, who were killed by the Army yesterday. Words against Iran and against Obama/Rice are useless.

Those of us who support Israel are most worried and have been for a long time. It is not at all as many Israelis see it. If Israel was to pulverise the Iranian Fascists by whatever manner then there would be a lot of support in many countries outside of Israel for this.

 

So often Israelis see only these Fascist Anti-Marxist Leftists operating on the social media and this I feel is always misleading because they are small and hyper active in their missionary Antisemitism

 

And apart from that it does not matter anyway because the lives of millions of Jews are at stake here.

 

How fast Iran can créate a nuclear bomb depends totally on the number of centrifuges it has to opérate on the enrichment (If you have to concrete your yard then a hundred cement mixers will do it in say 20 minutes)

 

The real problem here is not what Netanyahu says. You can agree with what he says here. It is rather what he does which is nothing.

 

Israel has to stop this Iran bomb programme by action. This is the issue that has to be fought out in Israel and in every country.

The deep divide between the Obama administration and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on the Iranian nuclear issue resurfaced during this week’s two-day (May 7-8) Jerusalem talks held by the visiting US National Security Advisor Susan Rice, who was joined by Wendy Sherman, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs and head of the US delegation to the nuclear talks.

Rice reiterated President Barack Obama’s contention that Iran and the P5+1 countries must reach a deal by the year’s end, before internal political conditions in Iran alter the landscape. The US urges Israel to recognize that Iran is already irreversibly a nuclear threshold state, and so it should be permitted to maintain a civilian nuclear program. This includes uranium enrichment and the construction of new nuclear reactors, with the proviso that Tehran commits not to turn its capabilities to military uses.

The Obama administration is prepared to pledge that every intelligence-gathering method at its disposal will be used to monitor Iran’s nuclear program and ensure that the threshold is not crossed. It promises Israel, as Rice repeated in her Wednesday conversation with Netanyahu, that Obama will not allow Iran to arm itself with nuclear weapons.

But debkafile’s sources in Jerusalem report that Netanyahu rejected the American position, arguing that Israel cannot leave its security in the hands of intelligence agencies whose forecasts and evaluations of the past years have often proved inaccurate.

Directly after Netanyahu and Rice met on Wednesday, a senior Israeli official said Israel continues to insist that Iran should not have the right to enrich uranium. The official, who spoke with unusual frankness, said that the Obama administration’s eagerness to seal the deal has more do with US domestic political concerns than Tehran.

 “We would be happy to see July 20 pass without a deal,” the official said, referencing the target date set for a comprehensive agreement. He added that there was worry in Israel that Obama might be tempted to accommodate Iran now, in order to head off potential gains by Republicans in the November mid-term elections.

The Israeli official was emphatic about his bottom line: “Are we going to agree to [let Iran go ahead with] enrichment? No!”

On Thursday, May 8, Netanyahu echoed this outlook, saying: “Iran must not have centrifuges or enriched uranium.” Rice proposed a limit on the number of centrifuges Iran is permitted to operate, as well as a cap on the amount of uranium it can enrich.

Our sources say Netanyahu flatly rejected Rice’s argument that the quantity and sophistication of the centrifuges are not of he highest importance, compared with the real question of how many centrifuges Iran will be allowed to operate under close international scrutiny.

“The best defense against a nuclear Iran is to keep a nuclear weapon out of its hands. Tehran needs centrifuges and enriched uranium for the single purpose of building a nuclear weapon. Tehran must be deprived of this capability,” Netanyahu said Thursday.

According to debkafile’s sources in Washington, ahead of the Rice visit to Israel, administration officials conferred with several former Israeli security figures who are regularly consulted by Netanyahu on the nuclear issue. They were asked for an opinion on whether the prime minister would buy a compromise that permitted Iran to keep several thousand centrifuges and enrich a specified amount of uranium up to a low five percent grade.

Those advisers came back to Netanyahu with the impression that Obama was fixated on a fast deal regardless of Israel’s opposition. They also warned him that his rejection of the US compromise proposal would bring down on Israel’s head a propaganda campaign in both the local and international media that would impugn his credibility on the Iranian nuclear issue.

Jerusalem regards the Newsweek charge of Israeli spies crossing the red line in America as the opening shot of this campaign.

Officials in Jerusalem are also rubbishing a report on the subject that the Yediot Aharonot Hebrew tabloid is running Friday, May 9. It quotes Uzi Ilam, a long-retired former head of the Israeli Atomic Energy Committee, as arguing that Netanyahu is using the pressing Iran nuclear issue for political gain, when in fact, he says, Iran won’t be able to make a nuclear bomb for 10 years.
Knowledgeable officials say his information is years out of date. Almost all leading US, European and Israeli nuclear experts agree that Iran has reached the point of being able to manufacture a nuclear bomb in two or three or months

You can imagine the same kinds of arguments as the Stalinists were putting forward in 1927, Borodin (Stalinist) was going to remain vigilant, so Netanyahu or Livni will also be vigilant, so therefore a Palestinian Jihad state is not going to be a problema, they are so vigilant!!!

 

But the very act itself would be a massive physical and psychological defeat. Despite the majority of Jews in Israel being very afraid the leadership ploughs ahead and under pressure from international capitalism they would give in, and stop fighting, against the Jihad. The results would be horrible for Jews. The psychological effects would cause a total deadening and a cynicism among the best Jews. They may even turn to defeatist mysticism.

What Martin does not deal with fully is what does it take to be a “good prophet” in this era. The bourgeoisie is in big trouble, even a blind man can see that. Shakespeare on the futility of self-deception 

I believe that to adequately comprehend the situation we are in, we must understand the process that brought it about.

At the risk of being flamboyant, I should like to begin my explanation of the foretold futility of the “peace-process” with a quote from Shakespeare’s Richard II, Act I, Scene 3.

Although some might find the connection between the citation and the Arab-Israeli conflict e abstruse, I will explain the relevance shortly, and hope that, like myself, the Post readership will find it instructive in elucidating the defective rationale on which the entire peace process was founded.

The quotation relates to an incident in which Henry Bolingbroke (later Henry IV) is exiled by Richard II (ruled 1377-1399) and is distraught at being banished from his beloved England.

His father, John O’ Gaunt, attempts to assuage his distress by advising him to fend off the hardships of exile by imagining that they do not exist: 

Look, what thy soul holds dear, imagine it
To lie that way thou go’st, not whence thou comest:
Suppose the singing birds musicians,
The flowers fair ladies, and thy steps no more
Than a delightful measure or a dance;
For gnarling sorrow hath less power to bite
The man that mocks at it and sets it light.

But the realistic Bolingbroke responds by rejecting the recommendation for self-delusion and wishful thinking, declaring forthrightly: 

O, who can hold a fire in his hand
By thinking on the frosty Caucasus?
Or cloy the hungry edge of appetite
By bare imagination of a feast?
Or wallow naked in December snow
By thinking on fantastic summer’s heat?

The relevance for the ‘peace process’ 

In a very fundamental way, this citation conveys precisely why the peace process was a forgone failure.

For it portrays the belief, held by some, that reality can be transformed by wishful thinking; that one can forge changes in reality by sheer force of imagination and wish away inconvenient facts by denying their existence.

It is precisely the intellectual licentiousness of the kind advocated by John O’ Gaunt that afflicted the architects of the Oslo process, who seemed – indeed, still seem – sadly immune to the sober realism of Bolingbroke. They cling to the belief that imagination can transform “singing birds” into “musicians,” and “flowers” into “fair ladies,” steadfastly refusing to acknowledge that one cannot “hold a fire in one’s hand [b]y thinking on the frosty Caucasus.”

Indeed, the entire “peace process” has, from the outset, been based on suppositions detached from reality; and the policies adopted to promote it were futile attempts to bend reality to unrealistic desires.

Growing awareness of futility 

There are growing signs that awareness of this futility is beginning to dawn – earlier for some, later for others. However, as I shall explain (next week), this is not necessarily producing proposals for alternatives any better, or less hazardous, than the doomed twostate approach.

The futility of the peace process was always a foretold inevitability.

For the structure of the bargain that needs to be struck for the twostate paradigm, on which it is based, to be viable, is unattainable.

It was Maj.-Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland, former head of the National Security Council, who remarked, half a decade ago: “The maximum any Israeli government can offer is less than the minimum any Palestinian leader can accept. The real gap between the sides is much greater than perceived, and that gap is growing.”

Sadly, perhaps the most fitting analogy to graphically convey the situation is that of two cowboys, the one in a black hat, the other in a white one, facing each other in a duel in the main street of a dusty western town, when just before they “go for their guns” the one growls at the other, “This town ain’t big enough for the both of us.”

This is precisely the situation that prevails vis-à-vis Israel and Palestinians with regard to the territory between the (Jordan) River and the (Mediterranean) Sea.

There is no way to arrive at a stable geo-political configuration that involves dividing the sovereignty over this territory between Jews and Arabs And let me stress, I make this determination as a political scientist – not a as religious fundamentalist or radical right-wing ideologue.

Eroding position; desperate proposals 

The increasingly evident futility of the endeavor to reach a negotiated settlement is manifesting itself in two main ways: (a) Increasing erosion of Israeli positions; and (b) Increasingly desperate proposals both on the Left and Right.

To grasp just how far Israeli positions have been eroded, consider the following citation from a senior mainstream politician, who almost four decades ago predicted with chilling accuracy what would come about if Israel were to embrace the two-state paradigm: “The establishment of such a state means the inflow of combat- ready Palestinian forces (more than 25,000 men under arms) into Judea and Samaria; this force, together with the local youth, will double itself in a short time. It will not be short of weapons or other [military] equipment, and in a short space of time, an infrastructure for waging war will be set up in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. Israel will have problems in preserving day-to-day security, which may drive the country into war, or undermine the morale of its citizens. In time of war, the frontiers of the Palestinian state will constitute an excellent staging point for mobile forces to mount attacks on infrastructure installations vital for Israel’s existence…

and to cause bloodshed among the population… in areas adjacent to the frontier line.”

Even more remarkable than the accuracy of the prophesy is the identity of the prophet. Those were the prescient words of none other than Shimon Peres, who now enthusiastically endorses the policy he urged Israel to eschew.

Even more significant erosion 

But perhaps an even more dramatic illustration of how gravely Israel’s positions have been eroded in the futile pursuit of an agreement with Palestinians is provided by the text of the final address by Yitzhak Rabin to the Knesset on October 5, 1995, seeking ratification of the Oslo II Accords – a mere month before his assassination.

In it Rabin rejected the idea of Palestinian statehood, declaring that: “… the permanent solution… will include… a Palestinian entity which will… be an entity which is less than a state…” He went on to assert: “We will not return to the 4 June 1967 lines… These are the main changes, not all of them, which we envision… in the permanent solution: “First and foremost, united Jerusalem, which will include both Ma’aleh Adumim and Givat Ze’ev – as the capital of Israel, under Israeli sovereignty… “The security border of the State of Israel will be located in the Jordan Valley, in the broadest meaning of that term.

“Changes which will include the addition of Gush Etzion, Efrat, Betar and other communities, most of which are in the area east of what was the Green Line prior to the Six Day War.

“The establishment of blocs of settlements in Judea and Samaria, like the one in Gush Katif.”

This address was delivered after he had been awarded the Nobel Peace prize and hailed as a “valiant warrior for peace.” Yet today, if any Israeli leader were to embrace the Nobel Peace laureate’s vision for a permanent settlement with the Palestinians, he would be dismissed as an unreasonable and unrealistic extremist.

Understanding the impasse: Israel’s twin imperatives 

The discovery of the failure of the peace process is not a matter of hindsight. For anyone with the slightest grasp of the basic elements of political science, international relations, the theory of the nation, and the stability of nation-states, it was a foretold inevitability.

Belatedly, the validity and viability of the paradigm that has dominated the discourse – the two-state land-for-peace approach – based on political appeasement and territorial withdrawal – is being questioned by mainstream pundits across the political spectrum.

Thus in 2007, Maj.-Gen. Uzi Dayan, formerly deputy chief of staff and head of the National Security Council, observed: “The landfor- peace idea has now collapsed.

We have to find another way, and a new concept is urgently needed.”

Echoing precisely the same sentiments, distinctly left-wing pundit Prof. Carlo Strenger wrote in Haaretz: “It is time to have a clear-headed, hard look at reality: The two state solution is dead.

Where do we go from here?” To understand the reasons for, and the nature of, the impasse, we need to recognize that for Israel to survive over time as the nationstate of the Jewish people, it must contend with two vital imperatives: The Geographic Imperative and the Demographic Imperative.

In addressing these two imperatives, Israel faces two mortal dangers: The two-state paradigm – which does not address the Geographic Imperative; The one-state paradigm – which does not address the Demographic Imperative.

Not ‘right-wing scaremongering’ 

The visuals distributed to the JNF audience prior to my address (“Israel: Through the binoculars of a Palestinian intelligence officer”), clearly illustrate why the two-state proposal would make Israel geographically untenable.

Not only would the width of the country – in its most populous areas – be reduced to a minuscule 15-25 km. (roughly the distance from Beverly Hills to Malibu along Sunset Boulevard), but these would be completely dominated topographically by the limestone hills that comprise the “West Bank” and rise above it from the east. Any forces – regular or irregular – deployed on their western slopes, will command: 
• Virtually all major airfields in the country (civilian and military), including the only international airport; 
• Major sea ports and naval bases; 
• The fresh water system; 
• Main land transportation axes (road and rail); 
• Principal power plants; 
• The nation’s parliament;
• Crucial centers of government and military command; 
• Eighty percent of the civilian population and the commercial activity in the country.

In any two-state scenario, all of the above would be in range of weapons being used today from areas already transferred to Arab control. This can therefore no longer be dismissed as right-wing scaremongering, for it is merely a prudent extrapolation of the empirical precedent.

EVEN ANGELINA JOLIE MOVES IN ON NIGERIAN GIRLS ISSUE

The issue of the Nigerian girls abduction is really the issue of our times, the Jihad of Muslims and the way this has been used by US and Britian over the years. Angelina Jolie is typical of the problem. Jolie the last time I noticed her was moving in with the Jihad, the Islamic movement in Bosnia and against the Christian Serbs, and was doing everything she could to deny the meaning of Jihad in our modern world. So this morning I saw her hateful face on my televisión screen emoting about the Nigerian girls. It was a busy bar and I could not hear her words but do I need to? Bet she was covering once again for the Jihad just as she did all those years for the Jihad of Izetbegovic and against the Serbs in Bosnia and Kosovo.

 

The issue of the Nigerian girls was summed up for me also this morning in an interview the BBC did with the Nigerian Minister for Information. The BBC interviewer, a lady with an Arab sounding name, was snappy and hostile, and her attack was against the Nigerian Government and not at all against the forces of Islam. She was full of it! The Minister of Information finally managed to get a Word in and said “If you will only let me explain”… and then he said that of course the Nigerian Government was always concerned about the girls, they were Nigerian after all, and they were trying…BUT he then went on to point out that it was an international issue, and although he did not call it JIHAD, he listed about 12 countries from China to Algeria in which the Jihad had raged. Now this is the thing…The BBC interviewer dropped this way of looking at the Nigerian Girl tragedy like a hot potato.

On 27 June 1995, after deposing his father in a palace coup, Sheikh Hamad became Emir of Qatar and was crowned on 20 June 2000.  Deposed by his own son while visiting Geneva, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al-Thani, has said to press he would return, whatever the cost. He dubbed the coup the “abnormal behaviour of an ignorant man”.

The Emir is famous for helping to establish the first Arab international news network, Al Jazeera, when he provided a loan of QAR 500 million ($137 million) to sustain Al Jazeera through its first five years. In late 2012 and early 2013 the Emir was accused of providing financial and material support to terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Ansar Dine, and the Al-Nusra Front.

You couldn’t find a better example of endless double talk. Qatars money is behind a lot of the Arab Spring (terrorist khalifa) movement which is spreading from country to country in the Middle East under the guise of ‘freedom fighters’. It will eventually backfire on him.

David Cameron:  Facilitator or simply a complete dumbass? One minute he vows to fight terrorists, the next he invites terrorist money to triple their revenues – via the UK.

Charles suggests that European women may even find something to envy in the situation of their Muslim sisters:

Islamic countries like Turkey, Egypt and Syria gave women the vote as early as Europe did its women-and much earlier than in Switzerland! In those countries women have long enjoyed equal pay, and the opportunity to play a full working role in their societies.

Charles considers Christianity inadequate to the task of spiritual restoration and denigrates science for having caused the West to lose its spiritual moorings. Echoing a common Muslim theme, he declares that “Western civilisation has become increasingly acquisitive and exploitive in defiance of our environmental responsibilities.” Instead, he praises the “Islamic revival” of the 1980s and portrays Islam as Britain’s salvation:

Islam can teach us today a way of understanding and living in the world which Christianity itself is poorer for having lost. At the heart of Islam is its preservation of an integral view of the Universe. Islam-like Buddhism and Hinduism-refuses to separate man and nature, religion and science, mind and matter, and has preserved a metaphysical and unified view of ourselves and the world around us. . . . But the West gradually lost this integrated vision of the world with Copernicus and Descartes and the coming of the scientific revolution. A comprehensive philosophy of nature is no longer part of our everyday beliefs.

He concludes by suggesting that “there are things for us to learn in this system of belief which I suggest we ignore at our peril.”

OLYMPIC hero Mo Farah’s charity has been linked to a controversial Islamic cleric who has urged British ­Muslims to wage holy war.

The double gold medallist set up the Mo Farah Foundation with his wife Tania in 2011 to help people affected by drought in the Horn of Africa.

So far the charity – which is backed by Bono, Sir Bob Geldof, Richard Curtis and Paula Radcliffe – has raised more than £900,000 for poor ­communities in Somalia.

But the body originally charged with delivering Mo’s mission on the ground in the country is headed by Dr ­Musharaf Hussain, an Islamic ­ scholar with anti-West views.

The Nottingham cleric features in a number of videos on YouTube ­including one in which he uses the offensive ­Arabic term “kuffar” to describe non- Muslims.

He goes on to justify the use of jihad by Muslims against non-believers.

In a 2010 sermon, he said it was a “wise cause” to fight non-believers “because they are tyrants”.

He added: “This is why the Koran says get out and go whether you are lightly armed or heavily armed, whether you have all the means or not, you must take part in this jihad.”

The cleric, awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to community relations, then ranted about Britain and ­America’s involvement in conflicts in Muslim lands.

He is the head of Muslim Hands, a charity that raised an income of more than £13million last year alone.

 

In accounts posted on the Charity Commission website for the financial year ending March 31, 2013, trustees of the Mo Farah Foundation boasted of their close relationship with Muslim Hands.

They said they helped feed 20,000 people, sunk 50 wells, restored three canals and set up a clinic with Dr Hussain’s help.

Mo’s charity also lists controversial Islamic organisation Tauheedul Relief Trust as a ­ partner on its website. In February the Trust donated £20,000 to the Mo Farah Foundation.

But it later emerged that a school run by the Blackburn-based group forced pupils to wear a hijab in and out of class.

Rules at Tauheedul Islam Girls’ High School also require its 800 pupils to “not bring stationery to school that contains un-Islamic images”. In 2011 Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Sudais, a Saudi cleric alleged to have referred to Jews as “pigs” and “scum”, visited the school.

Last night Diana Nell – Mo Farah’s sister-in-law, inset, and spokeswoman for the Mo Farah Foundation – claimed the partnership with Muslim Hands was now defunct.

She initially denied any link, saying: “I can categorically tell you we are not partnered with Muslim Hands.”

 

But when asked why the partnership is mentioned in the most recent report of the trustees, she said: “When we established in 2011 they helped us with ­delivering programmes into Somalia.

“We do not use them now and won’t be doing so in the future.”

The very first thing to grasp about the US and Ukraine is that it is NOT JUST Obama. It is right across the US political elite. All Republicans as well as all democrats are at war with Putin and Russia.

 

What have they done so far?

 

The first thing done long ago was that Bill Clinton completely tore up the agreement made between Bush Senior with Gorbachev. This agreement stated that if Russia would dismantle the Warsaw Pact then NATO would stay out of those countries. The American Democrat Bill Clinton (whose position is carried on essentially by Obama) broke that agreement totally, supported by the whole Republican Establishment. That in turn meant that the promises of the US are not worth the paper they are written on. The rise of the more nationalist Putin was the result of that.

 

Next to Ukraine (I am leaving out here the role of the US in the breaking apart of Yugoslavia and the support for the Islamist Fascists under Izetbegovic against the Christian Serbs, still being played out in the Hague to this very day) and on Ukraine it remains the central fact that Fascists got protests going in the Maidan, and these protests were ramrodded by US CIA money and involvement over many,  many years. The result of this was that a democratically elected Government in Ukraine was forced to resign just two months ago. This is what this is all about. The US stepped beyond parliamentary politics towards Fascism. We on 4international continually warn…this phenomenon is ALWAYS a danger sign on the road to Fascism, and so it is in Ukraine and the wider world.

In this part of the world for historical reasons Fascism is greatly feared. There is thus great fear from workers and nationalists towards such an Obama puppet regime.

 

Britain is still the key factor in Europe. It is the British continual support for US Imperialist Fascism on the world stage that is so often the key. Germany because of its Nazi history is often far more cautious, but you can always depend on these horrific little Imperialists like William Hague to blow the Russia hating horn

This is indeed serious stuff. The Ukrainian fighters against this Fascism, and those just vulnerable, had retreated to the trade union building in Odessa. News only came via twitter etc. The media were not interested. The Jewish bloggers looked away.

 

Some of these anti Fascists jumped from the fire. Some sat on window sills preparing themselves to jump. Comparisions with 9-11 are obvious and actually the same forces are at work…the Fascists there were the Bin Laden Fascists of Islam  JUST AS IN THE HOLOCAUST Islam was joining with Imperialism.

 

And just with the Nigerian girls the Fascists had no pity. When they jumped to the ground and injured they were surrounded by the Right Sector Fascists of Obama and Cameron and killed anyway.

 

The Odessa police paid by Kiev puppets of Obama looked on. They did not do a thing.

 

This shows the desperate plight of all workers and youth in Ukraine with the coming to power of this Right Sector Obama promoted Fascist Government.

There is only one thing for a Russian Revolutionary Government to do, a government that would be led by TROTSKYISM. That is to have moved immediately against the Fascist coup in Kiev, defeated the Fascists, organised new elections in which the CIA and Obama would have no part to play thus a true election (they would be arrested at once), then to arrest and place on trial all of these fascist savages of Right Sector. Only that would have prevented the Odessa murders.

Nigeria’s Daily Trust reported Monday that “most of the 234 Borno schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity have been ferried abroad to Chad and Cameroon after they were married off to sect members on N2,000 bride price each.”

Two thousand Nigeria naira amounts to $12.45 for each girl.

Even as this savagery escalates, however, no one is discussing the ideology that compels this war on innocents. These young girls are considered war booty under Islam. This is consistent with Islamic teaching and with what Muhammad, “the perfect model,” did with the spoils of jihadi war.

Imagine, for the moment, the horror, the terror that that these young girls are facing now, and probably will face for the rest of their lives. Unimaginable. But Islamic supremacists and Islamic apologists are working furiously to make sure that no one talks about it.

Boko Haram is the same Islamist group that has slaughtered over 2,596 Nigerians in the first three months of 2014–all for the cause of establishing an Islamic state in Nigeria. The Islamic jihadists are acting with impunity. They know that the government can do nothing to stop them. Just recently, these jihadists left 71 dead in a bombing at a bus station at rush hour. And the day before that, this same Muslim group killed 68 people in an attack on their village. Terrified villagers were shot to death as they fled.

This is genocide. This is ethnic cleansing. This is jihad. But there is something more heinous than the conquest and slaughter rooted in jihad doctrine: the silence and the sanction of the West. The world says nothing. The only thing more overwhelming than the body count in the global jihad is the denial, apathy, and endless apologies for Islam that we hear from the mainstream media and the governments of the West. CNN says that the kidnapping of hundreds of schoolgirls by jihadists “isn’t shocking.”

My fellow human beings, it is shocking and savage. We are descending into a world of savagery sanctioned by the “civilized.” The modern age of the savage is upon us. For reasons that only Barack Obama can answer, the State Department took far too long to designate this savage Islamist group, Boko Haram, a terrorist organization. When State Department officials finally did designate it a foreign terrorist organization, they did so while never mentioning that the people being terrorized are Christians who are being targeted for their beliefs. In fact, they implied that the group had other motivations and even that it had “legitimate concerns.”

“These designations are an important and appropriate step, but only one tool in what must be a comprehensive approach by the Nigerian government to counter these groups through a combination of law enforcement, political, and development efforts, as well as military engagement, to help root out violent extremism while also addressing the legitimate concerns of the people of northern Nigeria,” the State Department said.

The idea that a jihadist group that slaughters in the cause of Islam practically every day and whose very name means “Western education is sinful” has “legitimate concerns,” or that its supporters do, exposes the dangerous motives of the pro-jihadist Obama administration.

Boko Haram enslaves schoolgirls. It sets schools ablaze and slits the throats of those trying to escape out the windows. Boko Haram targets teachers and doctors, but above all, Christians. What possible legitimate concerns could these savages have? Imposing Islam is not a legitimate concern.

This is the world Barack Obama has made. The world’s policeman is no longer on the beat, and the savages know it

Universities in Canada and the United States as well are no longer institutions of higher learning. They’re propaganda factories for the Left, at which only one point of view is ever aired or accepted — and that point of view is authoritarian, anti-Western, anti-Semitic, and anti-Christian, all the while parading under the banner of “multiculturalism” and “tolerance.”

“Anti-Israel BDS Resolutions Seize Campuses in Ontario, Canada,” by Christine Williams, Gatestone Institute, April 22, 2014:

Under the guise of promoting peace and human rights, resolutions to join Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions [BDS] drives are being foisted on Canadian university campuses to push the agenda of the Muslim terrorist group, Hamas, to destroy Israel.

It is Hamas—an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood—that has fueled and directed the BDS and Israel Apartheid Week campaigns on university campuses across North America through chapters of the Muslim Student Association and the Palestine Solidarity Network.

Despite drawing a negligible fraction of the student population, the votes are gaining traction. According to the website of the Palestinian BDS National Committee, BDS is a global campaign designed to pressure Israel to end its so-called “occupation and colonization of all Arab lands.” Hidden is the real BDS agenda: to delegitimize and ultimately obliterate Israel by destroying its economy.

Also concealed in these drives are Israel’s reason for so-called “occupation,” and the fact that Palestinians are treated better in Israel than by their own vicious leadership who sometimes even use their own people as human shields.

Toronto’s Ryerson University students reportedly became the 11^th student union to vote in support of the anti-Israel BDS campaign, giving “student politicians” the mandate to pressure the university administration to cut ties with all companies that support what the BDS campaign asserts is “Israeli apartheid.” Not only do they invariably fail to provide any evidence to support that allegation, they fail to mention the very real apartheid that still exists against Palestinians in Lebanon and Kuwait, where they are forbidden to hold a whole array of jobs and privileges enjoyed by other residents. They also fail to mention the very real apartheid against non-Muslims that exists in countries such as Saudi Arabia — where there are roads they may not travel on, cities they may not enter and books they may not bring in; or Pakistan, where non-Muslims effectively receive no protection from the law-enforcement agencies.

Anti-Israel students at Ryerson University in Toronto jeer Jewish students who spoke out against a student council motion to support BDS.

In addition to York University students voting for BDS a year ago, the McMaster University student union in Hamilton voted in favor of a BDS resolution this past March.

After the vote, Raphael Szajnfarber, McMaster Hillel’s Director of Jewish Student Life, commented, “I can tell you it was a toxic environment in the room tonight. … “I know that some students did indeed feel targeted.”

Students at the University of Windsor have also supported BDS by a narrow vote. Apparent “discrepancies”, however, prompted an investigation by the university administration, and may yet see the vote thrown out.

The Ontario Public Interest Research Group [OPIRG], through its website “The ShakeUp,” accused Windsor University president Alan Wildeman of being undemocratic by threatening to have the referendum “quashed.” Before the referendum, Wildeman expressed in a letter the “well documented and detailed complaints” about the student referendum, and stated that “the University cannot allow student organizations to compromise the University’s commitment to provide a welcoming learning and living environment for each and every student on our campus.”

The ShakeUp report, however, blamed Wildeman for “a heavy-handed attack leveled directly at the Palestinian Solidarity Group,” and also launched a tirade not only against Wildeman, but also “the ignorant colonial mentality that tore apart First Nations in what is now Canada.”

All the while, however, the “The ShakeUp” report concealed the real goals of the Muslim Student Association and Palestinian Solidarity Group.

After the Windsor referendum, Member of Parliament Jeff Watson called the BDS movement “hateful and deceitful” and denounced “this new anti-Semitism poisoning our Canadian campuses.”

Howard English, the Toronto-area President of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs [CIJA], stated that such campus resolutions and boycotts are not really intended to promote peace and human rights but are “ultimately opposed to Israel’s existence as a state.”

Meanwhile, a Muslim woman, Mais Ali-Saleh, who grew up in an Arab village outside of Nazareth, Israel, was lauded in, “Guess Who’s Valedictorian at Israel’s Top Medical School?” On trips to Europe, Ali-Selah said that people are surprised to learn that in Israel, Israeli Arabs can study medicine and engineering. Ali-Saleh opposes BDS and the notion of Israel as an “apartheid state.” She said that movements such as BDS deny a fundamental truth: “Arabs,” she said, “and in particular Arab women, have more freedom, liberties and academic opportunities in Israel than in any Arab country.”

One well-known company targeted by BDS is SodaStream, where Israelis and Palestinians have been working together, embodying real “peace and human rights” for decades. It is also where, as referenced in the not particularly pro-Israel publication, Haaretz, “truth be told, the SodaStream workers and local Palestinians were downright peeved when asked about the efforts of solidarity activists and their own government to boycott SodaStream.”

The propaganda and lies of the BDS movement on our campuses, combined with Western naivety, is a potent brew that needs to be challenged by university administrations and at every level of society. Far too many are unaware that the Muslim Student Association’s pledge of allegiance is: “Allah is my Lord. Islam is my life. The Koran is my guide. The Sunna is my practice. Jihad is my Spirit. Righteousness is my character and paradise is my goal. I enjoin what is right. I forbid what is wrong. I will fight against oppression and I will die to establish Islam.” The MSA pledge of allegiance is virtually one and the same as the Muslim Brotherhood’s motto, which states: “Allah is our objective. The prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
