ALLIANCE BETWEEN STALINISED RUSSIA AND IRAN HAS BEEN SHATTERED IN YEMEN BY SAUDI ATTACKS

This montage is interesting. Stalin also represented an acceptance and a seeking of agreement with world capitalism (Imperialism). Stalin also even made a 1939 pact with Hitler and with the Nazis which pact Trotsky opposed right down the line. You can see Putin carrying out the same opportunist methods in his Alliance with Iran. Absolute betrayal of the Russian workers and Russian people as a whole.

The alliance between the Stalinist Russian regime of Putin and Iran has been shattered (and shattered well and truly for a considerable time) in Yemen. Russia is a small time state in the world situation. It has an economy less than the size of Britain. It is deceptive. The land mass is great, it has nuclear arms, but it is not a great nation by any means in today’s world. And it has carried on under Putin with this relationship with the Nazi Fascist Iran. (By the way we as Trotskyists defend Russia against the attacks on it by the Ukrainian Fascists led by Obama…but that is a separate matter. Here we are talking about the links between Russia and the Iranian Fascists.

Through these links which Russia holds with Iran there is going on a great betrayal of the Jews. It is this betrayal of the Jews by the whole of the West that is the main factor today. In the very middle of the talks the Iranians were threatening to destroy Israel! They know they are supported by Obama and Cameron!

The fact that Saudi Arabia has called this bluff internationally of the Russian Stalinist IN LEAGUE WITH THE IRANIAN MULLAHS is in my book a plus.I am a Trotskyist and I do not follow any dogma. The alliance of these Stalinists with Iran is one of the most degenerate things that it is possible to do.

The facts are that the Saudis have control of the air space over Yemen. In general this does not mean anything other than that the country is going to descend into Islamic type barbarism and this will happen very quickly. The Jihad is the Jihad. They will fight to the death and be happy to do so to make Allah proud. More chaos from Obama in Yemen is the logical conclusion.

But it has meant that Russia has had its bluff called. That is its bluff of playing the Iranian Mullah Nazi side while RT poses as a left media grouping. It is not indeed it is not!

Note…this goes very deep. Look at the comments on the Irish site thejournal.ie and you will see these Left Islamists like the SWP line up with Iran despodism every day. Crisis of leadership in the left! Inside of socialism great crisis!

With the Saudis controlling the skies no Russian planes have landed and so no Russian nationals have exited Yemen in the past days. The Saudis have seen Russia as the spies and allies of Iran. The Saudis are a bit weird. They have this lethal Islamic Supremacist Wahhabism but find themselves threatened by Iran. The split between the Shia and Sunni is near absolute at this point in time.

But who has come racing to the aid of the Iran fascists none other than Obama and the Democratic Party in America. See http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/16735#.VSOeWJvYdy1

INTO THE FRAY…4INTERNATIONAL BELIEVES THAT NETANYAHU SAVED ISRAEL IN HIS MARCH 8 CONGRESS SPEECH

Into the Fray: Whew! But…

FELIX QUIGLEY SAYS…

I reprint  this article by Martin Sherman and seek for the widest readership possible because in it Sherman calls for a huge effort by Israel to tell its true story to the world. This will not be a passive undertaking but means confronting A/Muslim Antisemitism, B/World Antisemitism which is wider and sometimes rooted in ancient Christian prejudice and finally C/Left Fascist Antisemitism which is a break from socialist thought of the main socialist but not Anarchist (who were always antisemitic)leaders. In regard to Netanyahu I defend Netanyahu unconditionally against Obama and believe that it was his political fight in Congress on March 8 that saved Israel…

As this comment on Facebook makes clear…

” In my writings I have emphasised how close to disaster was Israel and the world, the disaster being if Left Fascists of Livni and Herzog had teamed up with world Antisemitism and Obama. We have a breathing space thanks to the speech Bibi made in Congress on Mar8. Which is why Martin’s suggestion re the Fishman thesis I intend to take up with all my power. I am disgusted at those who like mere hours later are sticking the knife into Netanyahu. He saved the day. I insist the whole action in Congress not just the speech but courage in going there was what swung the election. I despise Jews who are so disloyal. I am not Jewish but I am not disloyal. I thank Bibi for that March 8 conscious political act. I do not expect Bibi to be what he cannot be. But I defend him always from Obama and from world Antisemitism. By the way I am Trotskyist and non Jewish Irish”

With respect to the people’s choice, if this is in fact its choice, I do not accept it … If that is the choice of the people, the people should be changed
Labor leader Yitzhak Ben-Aharon, on hearing the results of 1977 election in which, for the first time ever, the Labor Party was ousted from power by the Likud, after almost three decades of political hegemony

The unthinkable has been avoided narrowly. Had the election gone the way many had expected, the country would have had a prime minster who, in his own words, believes that “the term ‘Jewish state’ is totally misguided.”

Indeed, against all odds

In his post-election speech to Likud activists late Tuesday night, Benjamin Netanyahu summed up the dramatic events of the last few weeks as “a great victory,” achieved “against all odds.”

This was an accurate assessment, even before later results came in, widening the gap between the Likud and Isaac “Buji” Herzog’s Labor Party, masquerading for the purpose of these elections as the “Zionist Union.” These later results, that confounded pollsters and pundits alike, served only to throw the stunning surprise and the far-reaching significance of the ballot into starker relief.

For Tuesday was indeed a day of grave concern with long hours of deep despondency and anxious apprehension. There were persistent reports of a well-oiled, well-funded left-wing apparatus mobilizing voters, running circles around a disorganized and demoralized Right, which had virtually resigned itself to imminent defeat.

There was a distinct sense that the massive, malevolent and multifaceted blitz against the prime minister, aimed at denigrating, degrading and delegitimizing him, was having an effect, succeeding in alienating the electorate from him.

The grim specter of a Left-led government, eager to embrace or rather re-embrace the disastrously failed policy of political appeasement and territorial withdrawal, which cost so many Israelis life and limb, seemed increasing tangible.

Failed ‘coup d’etat’

Several weeks ago, I wrote a column titled “Coup d’etat?” (February 22), in which I cautioned: “Over the last few weeks, Israeli democracy has been under brutal and sustained attack in a desperate effort to subvert the will of the people… What we are witnessing is, in effect, little less than an attempt at a bloodless coup d’état conducted, not by the military, but by the messianic, indeed manic, mainstream media, buttressed by affiliated like-minded civil society elites, in a frenzied effort to impose their minority worldview on the nation.”

Subsequent events brought home the validity of this assessment, reflecting with almost eerie precision my diagnosis: “Enraged by their inability to rally sufficient public support, on substantive policy issues, to unseat the object of their visceral enmity, Benjamin Netanyahu, and nonplussed by the tenacity of his ‘delinquent’ hold on the premiership, despite their undisguised loathing, his political rivals have despaired of removing him from office by normal electoral means… Rather than engaging in a substantive debate on how to conduct the affairs of the nation, they have embarked on a dishonorable the less charitable might say ‘disgraceful’ attempt to oust a prime minister by means of a maelstrom of petty and pernicious ad hominem attacks…

“Devoid of any persuasive policy alternative of real substance, and of an alternative candidate of authentic stature, Netanyahu’s left-leaning detractors have mobilized to exploit their unelected positions of power and privilege to launch a massive media blitz against him and his wife…”

As it turned out all this malevolence was in vain. The coup d’etat not only failed, but although it is still a little early to be sure, it may have backfired in more senses than one.

Charmed political life? Or cursed?

In many ways, Netanyahu has led a charmed political life. It has also been strewn with many largely self-inflicted curses. Very few political leaders are given a second chance to achieve lasting historic greatness. For some reason, known only to the Goddess of Fortune, Netanyahu has been given three such chances in the past. Each time, he failed to seize the moment.

He has now been given a fourth opportunity and the burning question is whether he will rise to the occasion this time. For it is doubtful whether he will be given a fifth.

Tuesday’s late night’s (or more precisely, Wednesday’s early morning) election results gave Netanyahu his only convincing clear-cut victory at the polls. All his previous wins have been excruciatingly close, with barely hairbreadth margins.

Thus, in 1996, despite the horrific carnage the Oslo Accords brought to the streets, buses and cafes across the country, he only just managed to pip Shimon Peres at the post, after public opinion turned sharply against the Likud, in the wake of the Rabin assassination.

In fact most Israelis went to sleep believing Peres had won, only to wake up to the news that Netanyahu had edged ahead to win by the skin of his teeth.

Charmed or cursed? (cont.)

In 2009, despite the poor performance by the Olmert government, the mismanagement of the Second Lebanon War and the corruption scandals that wracked the Kadima party, Netanyahu still technically lost the election to Tzipi Livni, Ehud Olmert’s successor as head of Kadima, which incredibly emerged as the largest party. It was only Livni’s inability to form a governing coalition that gave Netanyahu the premiership.

It was at the start of his second term that Netanyahu, in his Bar-Ilan speech, took the disastrous step of accepting the principle of Palestinian statehood, which, predictably, instead of easing international pressure on Israel only intensified it. For it confronted Israel with the inevitable dilemma of either forgoing its minimal security imperatives to allow a Palestinian state; or resist forgoing them, making a Palestinian state impossible, thus appearing disingenuous and duplicitous to the international community.

All his display of ill-advised “flexibility” did was to lead Israel into a perilous cul-de-sac from which it could only extricate itself at great cost.

As the 2013 election approached, opinion polls indicated that a decisive Netanyahu/right-wing victory was assured. Yet the Right fared so badly that Netanyahu was barely able to cobble together a shaky coalition, so implausible that an early election was inevitable.

The results of that early election are now in. For the first time, Netanyahu has attained a clear-cut victory miraculously for some, infuriatingly for others but certainly against all odds.

Almost snatched defeat from jaws of victory

For three consecutive elections, Netanyahu has run atrocious campaigns.

In the 2009 and 2013 votes, he was on the cusp of snatching defeat from the jaws of what should have been certain victory. His approach, and that of the Likud, was one of lackadaisical apathy, almost disdain for the voter.

For the last few elections, the Likud did not even bother to present the public with an official party platform, informing it what it was being asked to vote for. “Muddling through” and “managing rather than resolving problems” became, by inference, the hallmark of its policy.

This has had enormously detrimental impact on the nation in profound ways. After all, it is impossible to reach a desired much less a desirable destination, if one does not have one. When this is the perceived posture of the ruling party, the strategic ramifications are gravely enervating.

Regrettably, up until its very last stages, the current campaign was afflicted by much the same malaise. It was only in the final days, when things were looking desperately dire, that Netanyahu harnessed his energies to the electoral effort with considerable indeed, according to numerous pundits decisive effect.

The lesson to be learned from this is both salutatory and instructive as to what steps must be taken to contend with prevailing threats and to meet emerging challenges.

The imminent onslaught

In light of the impact of Netanyahu’s last minute involvement apparently had on the outcome of the election, it is far from implausible to surmise that had he entered the fray (no pun intended) earlier, had the Likud focused more on the substantive message it wished to convey, significantly better results, and considerably more parliamentary seats, could have been won.

It is crucial to bear in mind that with the defeat of the left wing, the danger has in no way passed. Quite the contrary, in numerous ways it has been intensified for many, both in Israel and abroad, are enraged by Netanyahu’s continued tenure on the premiership.

There is little doubt that this will precipitate a massive assault on Israel from both domestic and foreign sources. It will not come from declared enemies and overt adversaries of the Jewish state alone, but from purported supporters and alleged allies, who will use Netanyahu’s reelection as a pretext for abandoning it with feigned reluctance.

They will join forces with Israel’s foes to try and impose their own minority view on the elected government. This is not a prediction as to the future. It is a commentary on what is already under way since Thursday.

There are already flimsily veiled threats from the Obama administration that it will no longer block UN resolutions calling for unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood within the pre-1967 lines. The New York Times predictably dialed up the bile in its Wednesday’s opinion section with a toxic tirade by Israel’s professed friend Tom Friedman and snide threats from an unabashed adversary, Yousef Munayyer.

Detrimental, dysfunctional, disloyal

Having defeated the effort to unseat him, despite opponents throwing everything, perhaps bar the kitchen sink, at him, Netanyahu will become a lightning rod for an assault on Israel’s legitimacy, undermining not only its ability to survive, but its very right to do so.

Dealing with this ominous menace is Netanyahu’s historic challenge one which to date he has been largely remiss in addressing adequately.

In the array of formidable tasks facing him, perhaps the most harrowing, but crucial, will to be to contend with a detrimental, dysfunctional and not infrequently, disloyal, domestic opposition and to do so within the constraints imposed by adherence to the tenets of democratic governance.

For it is difficult to overstate the pernicious impact the actions of many in the disaffected civil society elites in the country have on Israel’s international standing. Although they undoubtedly will protest that they are acting in the country’s best interest, their venom and vilification of what takes place here, often detached from past or present context, is grist for the mill of those who undisguisedly are not.

It is their censure, often unfounded, invariably distorted and unmindful of the consequences, that fans the flames of delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state.

Historic challenge Political ‘Iron Dome’; intellectual warriors

To meet this historic challenge, considerable resources must be committed.

In this regard, I have been endeavoring for several years to convince the government to assign a mere 1 percent of state budget for a strategic public diplomacy initiative. This would make available $1 billion for the assembling of a political/diplomatic “Iron Dome” to protect the country from the barrages of delegitimization and demonization it is regularly subjected to and which are now likely to intensify (See: “If I were prime minister…,” October 31, 2013; “My billion-dollar budget: If I were PM (cont.),” November, 7, 2013; “Intellectual warriors, not slicker diplomats,” February 14, 2013).

The funds must be allotted for a determined global assault on world opinion particularly but not exclusively on North American and European campuses, which must be won back from the stranglehold of Israel’s detractors. Teams of intellectual warriors not bound by the niceties of diplomatic protocol must be deployed, physically, across the major capitals of the world, and virtually throughout the reaches of cyber-space.

In setting out the mission statement for such an endeavor, Netanyahu could do no better than adopt the sentiments set out by Dr. Joel Fishman, in his aptly titled “The Relegitimization of Israel and the Battle for the Mainstream Consensus” (2012): “If Israel intends to regain its legitimacy, it must advance its historical claims aggressively and forcefully.

The Jewish state cannot permit others to define its identity or distort its past. It is necessary to discredit the fraudulent claims of the other side and expose its lies. Such an effort should include a long-term campaign of relegitimization. Israel must defend its sovereignty and take its rightful place in the community of nations. These are the responsibilities of nationhood.”

This is an increasingly urgent imperative. I urge the prime minister to shoulder it immediately and unflinchingly and to remember, “If you will it, it is no dream.” Even against all odds.

A PHOTO PRODUCED BY FAKE “PALESTINIANS” THAT IS 100% FAKE…RICHARD SILVERSTEIN PUBLISHED IT

photo above is fake…I mean there is not one thing in that photo that is real and true and it is produced by the “Palestinian Lie Factory Machine”

The above picture created and disseminated by this crowd of wanking falsifiers called “Palestinians” more precisely known as Fatah or Hamas and all these hangers on such as wsws.org

You will find all of this stuff on the websites of Antisemites in Europe and some in America. Who are these Antisemites? Well they are Antisemites of the new type. Israel is the wandering Jew of the Antisemites of yore.

This is what we Trotskyists of 4international do. We explain this so that when an unsuspecting ordinary person sees these photos they will say “hey is this really what it seems to be?”

Like when you meet a conman…it is the first few seconds that count!

So this photo above how did they do it? Well it is crude as can be and once you see it you will never fall for it again.

But I won’t explain it here in detail because it is already done for me and you by a brilliant website and the url is:

http://www.israellycool.com/2015/03/09/latest-blood-libel-fake-israeli-police-brutality-edition/

This is a quote:

Despite not receiving a source nor proof it was authentic, he went ahead and posted it anyway. Because spreading the truth is not his agenda. Damaging Israel is.

Help counter the lies by sharing this post.

The person who did this all explained by Israelicool is called Richard Silverstein. As stated he knew the photo was a fake. But went ahead and published for reasons stated above. But there are thousands of “Silversteins” so be ready.

VOTE FOR THE NETANYAHU LIKUD BENNETT SIDE IN THE ELECTION TO KEEP TRAITORS AWAY FROM STATE POWER!

The struggle for Israel is the oldest national liberation movement and all socialists must support it unconditionally

The election in Israel next Tuesday (March 17 2015) is an example of how the pressure of world Antisemitism (Muslim, Stalinist, Fascist Left and Christian) bears down on the tiny state of Israel and how the present leaders are not able to fight it but in many ways adapt to it.

The following two sides must be understood. Firstly the Jews are not responsible for one micro atom of Antisemitism in the world. Antisemitism is not the responsibility of a single Jew – ever! Secondly the Jewish people must find a leadership that can fight this Antisemitism or the Jews will be defeated.

Israel is a very tiny country. It is less than the size of Munster. Anybody who talks about a “Greater Israel” is therefore lying and is Antisemitic (patently obviously) through those lies.

Draw on your page a very tiny circle in the centre. Then around that tiny circle draw a very large circle taking up about half of the page and that is Muslim Antisemitism. Then draw a very large circle around that again taking up the whole page and that is World – Stalinist, Fascist Left and Christian – Antisemitism

There you have it. The great distortions in this election in Israel are an inevitable product of this pressure of Antisemitism on the tiny state of Israel

[Some like Livni say be nice to Mr Obama and his Muslims and they will in turn be very nice to you. The result of this as the 2005 Disengagement from Gaza showed is the opposite – the very opposite – and many Jewish and Arab also lives are lost]

[Some like Lieberman say do create a Palestinian state but do it on terms that the Jews can live with. This idea is very widespread. It has fatal results as the unfinished war against Hamas last year showed. No war can be left half finished]

[Then there are all of the roughly patriotic Jewish side sometimes misnamed as the “Right” and best known for Likud and Netanyahu and more lately Bennett. In general their heart is in the right place but they cannot ever translate any idea into action and the result is wild divisions in their ranks]

We are Trotskyists. We have a proud history. This election will solve nothing and yet is a serious moment. We say that the Netanyahu Likud and Bennett wing of Israeli struggle must be preserved by defeating the Livni/Peres axis. The hands of Livni and Herzog need to be kept away from state power because that state power as was the case with Barak and Sharon in 2005 (with a servile Media) can be a deadly weapon

FOLLOWING THE HORRIFIC ANTISEMITIC ABUSE IN MANCHESTER I CHALLENGE TALK RADIO EUROPE TO EXPEL RICHIE ALLEN

Antisemitism today is spread by Holocaust Denial

This is the deal! Follows the horrific video of antisemitism in Britain see

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/03/uk-video-youre-a-jew-not-a-muslim-jew-jew-jew-run

Talk Radio Europe is owned by a British Jewish man called Martin Nathan. He owns the station outright. it is his station. He broadcasts from the Marbella región and in English.

On his station he is helped by other Jews and I know the name of one – Richard Tildesley.

They have on their station five nights per week on a show lasting two hours each night a man called Richie Allen who has worked closely with the horrific as far as Jews are concerned David Icke. David Icke is notorious for playing around with the notorious Rothchilde theme

Richie Allen lives in Manchesater and it is in Manchester that this recent example of British Antisemitism has come out.

see http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/03/uk-video-youre-a-jew-not-a-muslim-jew-jew-jew-run

This does not make Richie Allen responsible for the video Antisemitism but it is connected because during the week past Richie Allen was attacking Israel and Netanyahu on the basis that Netanyhau was using the Holocaust “That is what he does” sneered Allen in his response to the Jeremy Bowen tweet. To say this about a Jewish leader is of course a dreadful attack on the whole of the Jews and especially on the memory of the 6 million dead.

By the way the Richard Tildesley I mentioned above argues on HIS 2 hour show that Iran is NOT interested in the slightest in producing a Nuclear Bomb. His evidence for this includes “Iran has said so”! Such absurdity!

What is with these people. They are Jews. Why is it me a complete national Irish person to have to defend Jews against them?

So Allen stirs up hatred against Israel. He takes on his show open Antisemites like Gilad Atzmon and many others.

All of this being broadcast out of Manchester by Richie Allen and broadcast immediately by Martin Nathan is BOUND to have an effect on Antisemitism in Manchester because the NEW Antisemitism is hatred of Israel replacing the ancient Antisemitism – hatred of the individual Jew.

So my challenge to Martin Nathan Jewish owner of Talk Radio Europe is to put an end to this continual Jew Hatred on his radio station and kick Allen off immediately.

End the association. Learn the lesson of this Antisemitism just published video in Manchester.

JEREMY BOWEN BBC…THE NETANYAHU CONGRESS 2015 SPEECH HAS SMOKED EM OUT GOOD AND PROPER

It is quite amazing the hatred for Netyanyahu and how this hatred is really hatred for Israel and at the end of the day for Jews. Big issue really big issue over Jeremy Bowen’s tweets during the Bibi Congress speech. This was stream of consciousness stuff and tells us everything ABOUT THE BBC ALSO!

Before Bowen I make these points:

On a radio programme a station owned by a British Jew called Martin Nathan the most filthy Israel and Netanyahu Hatred is allowed nightly by a man called Richie Allen connected to David Icke. Station is called Talk Radio Europe. Please do not touch it….ever. It is lethal and remember it is owned by a Jew a British Jew and his name is Martin Nathan and he allows this hatred against Jews ie Israel on nightly on HIS station

The same station Talk Radio Europe had a guy called Richard Tindesley (big wheel there on TRE) claim that “experts” say Iran has no interest in Nuclear Bomb. Who are these experts? The whole Arab world is even afraid of Iran and the Nuclear Bomb and there is now a race to everybody getting the bomb. Thanks from us all ie rest of humanity Tindesley and very well done. Tindesley also is a Jew. So all you Jews in the world sit back and relax re Iran Bomb cause Tindesley says its all a hoax pulled by who???

Now at last to Bowen… He was tweeting like Billyo during the Netanyahu speech. Who is not obsessed here? Just pulled out two of Bowden’s tweets and rest are on https://twitter.com/bowenbbc

#NetanyahuSpeech Iran dominates 4 Arab capitals. Iran is not joining community of nations, it’s gobbling them up. 7th standing ovation.

There are a hundred others. That was though classic and typical BBC sneaky. I see this trick a lot by the Fascist Lefts. They will tweet a statement. And leave it there bare and standing. But Bibi was right and Iran is dominating 4 capitals which are Beirut through Hizbullah and UN suport for Hisbullah, Baghdad now too obvious, Damascus through Alliance with Sadat, and Bahrein capital. But even that does not give the full picture because Turkey even Sunni Turkey is added because remember Obama is in Alliance with Iran and Turkey and Obama are brothers. There IS an Arc!

Now to the tweet the very one the one that tells us all about the BBC and we conclude to let you the reader figure out what goes on here:

#NetanyahuSpeech He acknowledges Elie Wiesel in audience. Once again Netanyahu plays the holocaust card. don’t repeat mistakes of the past

CONGRESS 2015 NETANYAHU SPEECH WAS MASTERLY AND NOW THE SKULKING OBAMA IS AT HIS MOST DANGEROUS

Khomeini and his Fascist Islam hijacked the Iranian Revolution. Picture shows Kurds being executed by the Khomeini Fascists in 1979 some 36 years ago. How those Fascists have stuck on to their state power!

The first thing about the Obama speech in Congress yesterday as it struck me was how calm, cool, collected and totally at peace with himself, and even offering a hand of friendship to Obama was Netanyahu. He began like that talking about what Obama had done for Israel.

It was only when Netanyahu reeled off the facts about Iran, its thirst to destroy the Jewish State, its uranium enrichment facilities, its hanging of gays non-stop…that the chasm opened. And what a chasm!

While the “great one” was burrowed away somewhere in the White House panting that he was too busy to listen to the speech, Netanyahu was explaining how the arc of Iranian Fascist Antisemitic influence is now extending from Bahrein, through Iran, through most of Iraq, into Syria and on into Lebanon, even further south into Gaza and Sinai. Only stopped from complete encirclement by the firm action of el Sisi against Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood. An arc extending 2000 k and nearly a circle if it had not been for el Sisis and his wonderful Egyptian nationalists.

Thus a most dangerous situation for the whole world (Not just the Middle East and not just Israel) has opened up because of the Obama “10 year deal” with the Iranian Fascist Mullahs.

This is the new situation and Netanyahu spelled it out. It is simply the statement of facts. Obama and the Democrats with even a section of Republicans have contracted out the American role in the world to a bunch of complete Jihadists – which is the Iranian Mullah Fascists.

Therefore more facts from Netanyahu yesterday. This can only lead to a scramble for Nuclear weapons from the Saudis, Gulf States and above all Egypt. The blind and Antisemitic Stalinists of Russia and China will jump over each other in eagerness to supply those nature destroying arms. Come one come all will be the Stalinists motto in the next years. I expect even the maoist stalinists of North Korea to get in on this money profit but deadly caper as well.

Result…if a way to stop this is not found…the obliteration of all life and not just human life ALL … on the planet.

What a speech! What a man! What a Jewish man! He kept his cool, offered the hand of friendship to this White House fiend, but spelled out the facts of our reality in the world today.

Well done Netanyahu!

It was a pivotal moment and a historical moment.

NETANYAHU HAS EVERY RIGHT TO SPEAK TO CONGRESS ABOUT THE IRAN NUCLEAR BOMB AND TO ATTACK NETANYAHU IS PURE ANTISEMITISM

MUST DEFEND NETANYAHU TOTALLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGAINST ANTISEMITES OVER CONGRESS SPEECH

you would think that all people would be defending Israel and Netanyahu against the Fascist Mullahs of Iran (seen above is pictures of Gays recently hung under the new “moderate” regime)…But no way and that can only be explained by total Antisemitism

Felix Quigley says…The reason that people attack Netanyahu for speaking to Congress about the danger from the Iranian Nuclear Bomb threat is all due to Antisemitism in the world.

This paragraph is worth repeating:

“Rather, he said, his purpose in addressing Congress was “to speak up about a potential deal with Iran that could threaten the survival of Israel.” Pointing to a map that he had arranged to have projected on the wall, Netanyahu described the terrorist operations that Iran was coordinating around the world. “As Prime Minister of Israel, I have a moral obligation to speak up in the fact of these dangers while there is still time to avert them,” saying Jews could never be passive again. – See more at: http://pamelageller.com/2015/03/my-thoughts-on-netanyahus-aipac-speech.html/#sthash.VI5oLS9i.dpu”

Bibi Netanyahu must carry on and must not be put off by lies against him. I am a socialist and from Ireland and I see the struggle of the Jews against the Iranian bomb as being connected with all of our survival also.

This is the central issue.

There are many people who are attacking Netanyahu. I see this as pure Antisemitism. And in the ways of Antisemitism facts do not matter, that is facts about anything.

First of all there is a tradition for American Congress to invite people in to speak on issues that concerns Congress. The Congress elected Leader asked Netanyahu. He was within his rights.

But here is the kicker. If it was Congress who invited Netanyahu then why attack Netanyahu? That is where Antisemitism in the world comes in.

Netanyahu was asked and he agreed and that should have been that. Antisemitism does not allow that.

This issue of the Iran Bomb, the Mulahs, Obama, Netanyahu and a thousand other things in our life today is ALL about Antisemitism

Hatred of the Jew pure and simple.

It takes so many different forms. The crude form you can see plainly. It is the polite and “civilized” form that is most lethal.

Finally Netanyahu correctly told AIPAC that he has no personal problem with Obama. Or the Democrats. He was right to say that. The hatred is coming totally from the other direction.

He thus made my point: It is ALL about Antisemitisdm.

JIHADI JOHN ISSUE…IRISH AND BRITISH WORKERS MUST INVESTIGATE THIS JIHAD GROUP “CAGE PRISONERS”

This issue going to tear the British Imperialists and Ruling Class apart. Already the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust is highly implicated in Jihadi John apologists “Cage” and has given these Jihadists of “cage” up to half a million. British workers must urgently waken up.

The working class is asleep both in Britain and in Ireland. The trade unions in their down the line support including financial for Jihadist movemernts (who seek the destruction of Israel and a new Shoah) lull the workers to sleep and encourage indifference.

Surely it is time for conscious workers to take a close look at this dangerous group Cage Prisoners. How do you see this group? Any comments are helpful here if you have information share it NOW.

Campaign group Cage (short for Cage Prisoners) described Jihadi John as ‘beautiful’ person
-Lord Carlile, a former reviewer of anti-terror legislation said there are ‘serious concerns’ surrounding the group
-Added that he would never advise donating money to organisation
-Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust has given £305,000 to Cage

PS I am not a fan of the Mail but check is this factual and if it is it demands action.

First step therefore is to investigate this “Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust”

I would also ask that conscious workers in Ireland begin an investigation into Adams and Sinn Fein in their role in the promotion of Antisemitism and Jihad against Israel and their telling lies to the Irish people over the nature and role of Hamas and Fatah alike

Einstein 1929…Arab mobs” in Palestine, October 1929 Letter to the Manchester Guardian

Arab mobs” in Palestine, October 1929 Letter to the Manchester Guardian

Felix Quigley says:

There is pathos here … Reading in a desperate plea the last paragraph of this letter by Einstein. It is following the 1929 massacre of Jews in Hebrón by Arabs of Palestine led by Hajj Amin el Husseini. It is a reserved appeal to Britain to come up to the plate and do the right thing by the Jews. It is a dignified letter but also a sad one because Britain was to do the very opposite and the monster Arab Palestininian Hajj Amin el Husseini was to go on and play a central role in the Nazi Holocaust of the Jews. Britain was to make that possible for the Nazis by passing the White Paper of 1939 which blocked Jews from coming to Palestine. Thus Britain cornered the Jews for the Nazi killers. No escape.

Later in 1948 Einstein attacked Israel over the Dir Yassin issue but he did so on the basis of very faulty information!

Letter to the Editor Manchester Guardian 12th October 1929 It was with a wonderful enthusiasm and a deep sense of gratitude that the Jews, afflicted more than any other people by the chaos and horror of the war, obtained from Great Britain a pledge to support the re- etablishment of the Jewish national home in Palestine. The Jewish people, beset with a thousand physical wrongs and moral degradations, saw in the British promise the sure rock on which it could re-create a Jewish national life in Palestine, which, by its very existence as well as by its material and intellectual achievements, would give the Jewish masses, dispersed all over the world, a new sense of hope, dignity, and pride. Jews of all lands gave of their best in man-power and in material wealth in order to fund the inspiration that had kept the race alive through a martyrdom of centuries. Within a brief decade some £10,000,000 were raised by voluntary contributions, and 100,000 hand- picked Jews entered Palestine to redeem by their physical labour the almost derelict land. Deserts were irrigated, forests planted, swamps drained, and their crippling diseases subdued. A work of peace was created which, although still perhaps small in size, compelled the admiration of every observer. Has the rock on which we have built begun to shake? A considerable section of the British press now meets our aspirations with lack of understanding, with coldness, and with disfavour. What has happened? Arab mobs, organised and fanaticised by political intriguers working on the religious fury of the ignorant, attacked scattered Jewish settlements and murdered and plundered wherever no resistance was offered. In Hebron, the inmates of a rabbinical college, innocent youths who had never handled weapons in their lives, were butchered in cold blood; in Safed the same fate befell aged rabbis and their wives and children. Recently some Arabs raided a Jewish orphan settlement where the pathetic remnants of the great Russian pogroms had found a haven of refuge. Is it not then amazing that an orgy of such primitive brutality upon a peaceful population has been utilised by a certain scion of the British press for a campaign of propaganda directed, not against the authors and instigators of these brutalities, but against their victims? No less disappointing is the amazing degree of ignorance of the character and the achievement of Jewish re- construction in Palestine displayed in many organs of the press. A decade has elapsed since the policy of the establishment of a Jewish national home in Palestine was officially endorsed by the British Government with the almost unanimous support of the entire British press and of the leaders of all political parties. On the basis of that official recognition, which was approved by almost every civilised Government, and which found its legal embodiment in the Palestine Mandate, Jews have sent their sons and daughters and have given their voluntary offerings for this great work of peaceful reconstruction. I think it may be stated without fear of exaggeration that, except for the war efforts of the European nations, our generation has seen no national effort of such spiritual intensity and such heroic devotion as that which the Jews have shown during the last ten years in favour of a work of peace in Palestine. When one travels through the country, as I had the good fortune to do a few years ago, and sees young pioneers, men and women of magnificent intellectual and moral calibre, breaking stones and building roads under the blazing rays of the Palestinian sun; when one sees flourishing agricultural settlements shooting up from the long deserted soil under the intensive efforts of the Jewish settlers; when one sees the development of water power and the beginnings of an industry adapted to the needs and possibilities of the country, and, above all, the growth of an educational sysem, ranging from the kindergarten to the university, in the language of the Bible – what observer, whatever his origin or faith, can fail to be sezied by the magic of such amazing achievement and of such almost superhuman devotion? Is it not bewildering that, after all this, brutal massacres by a fanaticised mob can destroy all appreciation of the Jewish effort in Palestine and lead to a demand for the repeal of the solemn pledges of official support and protection? Zionism has a two-fold basis. It arose on the one hand from the fact of Jewish suffering. It is not my intention to paint here a picture of the Jewish martyrdom through-out the ages, which has arisen from the homelessness of the Jew. Even to day there is an intensity of Jewish suffering throughout the world of which the public opinion of the civilised West never obtains a comprehensive view. In the whole of Eastern Europe the danger of physical attack against the individual Jew is constantly present. The degrading disabilities of old have been transformed into restrictions of an economic character, while restrictive measures in the educational sphere, such as the “numerus clausus” at the universities, seek to suppress the Jew in the world of intellectual life. There is, I am sure, no need to stress at this time of day that there is a Jewish problem in the Wetern world also. How many non-Jews have any insight into the spiritual suffering and distortion, the degradation and moral dis-integration engendered by the mere fact of the homelessness of a gifted and sensitive people? What under-lies all these phenomena is the basic fact, which the first Zionists recognised with profound intuition, that the Jewish problem cannot be solved by the assimilation of the individual Jew to his environment. Jewish individuality is too strong to be effaced by such assimilation, and too conscious to be ready for such self effacement. It is, of course, clear that it will never be possible to transplant to Palestine anything more than a minority of the Jewish people, but it has for a long time been the deep conviction of enlightened students of the problem, Jews and non-Jews alike, that the establishment of a National Home for the Jewish people in Palestine would raise the status and the dignity of those who would remain in their native countries, and would thereby materially assist in improving the relations between non-Jews and Jews in general. But Zionism springs from an even deeper motive than Jewish suffering. It is rooted in a Jewish spiritual tradition, whose maintenance and development are for Jews the raison d’etre of their continued existence as a community. In the re-establishment of the Jewish nation in the ancient home of the race, where Jewish spiritual values could again be developed in a Jewish atmosphere, the most enlightened representatives of Jewish individuality see the essential preliminary to the regeneration of the race and the setting free of its spiritual creativeness. It is by these tendencies and aspirations that the Jewish reconstruction in Palestine is informed. Zionism is not a movement inspired by chauvinism or by a sacro egoismo. I am convinced that the great majority of the Jews would refuse to support a movement of that kind. Nor does Zionism aspire to divest anyone in Palestine of any rights or possessions he may enjoy. On the contrary, we are convinced that we shall be able to establish a friendly and constructive co- operation with the kindred Arab race which will be a blessing to both sections of the population materially and spiritually. During the whole of the work of Jewish colonisation not a single Arab has been dispossessed; every acre of land acquired by the Jews has been bought at a price fixed by buyer and seller. Indeed, every visitor has testified to the enormous improvement in the economic and sanitary standard of the Arab population resulting from the Jewish colonisation. Friendly personal relations between the Jewish settlements and the neighbouring Arab villages have been formed throughout the country. Jewish and Arab workers have associated in the trade unions of the Palestine railways, and the standard of living of the Arabs has been raised. Arab scholars can be found working in the great library of the Hebrew University, while the study of the Arabic language and civilisation forms one of the chief subjects of study at this University. Arab workmen have participated in the evening courses conducted at the Jewish Technical Institute at Haifa. The native population has come to realise in an ever growing measure the benefits, economic, sanitary and intellectual, which the Jewish work of reconstruction has bestowed on the whole country and an its inhabitants. Indeed, one of the most comforting features in the present crisis has been the reports of personal protection afforded by Arabs to their Jewish fellow-citizens against the attacks of the fanaticised mob. I submit, therefore, that the Zionist movement is entitled, in the name of its higher objectives and on the strength of the support which has been promised to it most solemnly by the civilised world, to demand that its unprecedented reconstructive effort – carried out in a country which still largely lies fallow, and in which, by methods of intensive cultivation such as the Jews have applied, room can be found for hundreds of thousands of new settlers without detriment to the native population – shall not be defeated by a small clique of agitators, even if they wear the garb of ministers of the Islamic religion. Does public opinion in Great Britain realise that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who is the centre of an the trouble, and speaks so loudly in the name of all the Moslems, is a young political adventurer of not much more, I understand, than thirty years of age, who in 1920 was sentenced to several years’ imprisonment for his complicity in the riots of that year, but was pardoned under the terms of an amnesty? The mentality of this man may be gauged from a recent statement he gave to an interviewer accusing me, of all men, of having demanded the rebuilding of the Temple on the site of the Mosque of Omar. Is it tolerable that, in a country where ignorant fanaticism can so easily be incited to rapine and murder by interested agitators, so utterly irresponsible and unscrupulous a politician should be enabled to continue to exercise his evil influence, garbed in an the spiritual sanity of religion, and invested with all the temporal powers that this involves in an Eastern country? The realisation of the great aims embodied in the Mandate for Palestine depends to a very large degree on the public opinion of Great Britain, on its press, and on its statesmen. The Jewish people is entitled to expect that its work of peace shall receive the active and benevolent support of the Mandatory Power. It is entitled to demand that those found guilty in the recent riots shall be adequately punished, and that the men in whose hands is laid the responsible task of the adminisration of a country of such a unique past and such unique potentialities for the future shall be so instgrued as to ensure that this great trust bestowed by the civilised world on the Mandatory Power, is carried out with vision and courage in the daily tasks of routine administration. Jews do not wish to live in the land of their fathers under the protection of British bayonets: they come as friends of the kindred Arab nation. What they expect of Great Britain is that it shall promote the growth of friendly relations between Jews and Arabs, that it shall not tolerate poisonous propaganda, and that it shall create such organs of security in the country as will aford adequate protection to life and peaceful labour. The Jews will never abandon the work of reconstruction which they have undertaken. The reaction of all Jews, Zionist and non-Zionist alike, to the events of the last few weeks has shown this clearly enough. But it lies in the hands of the Mandatory Power materially to further or materially to hamper the progress of the work. It is of fundamental importance that British public opinion and the Governments of Great Britain and of Palestine shall feel themselves responsible for this great trust, not because Great Britain once undertook this responsibility in legal form, but because they are deeply convinced of the significance and importance of the task, and believe that its realisation will tend to promote the progress and the peace of mankind, and to right a great historic wrong. I cannot believe that the greatest colonial Power in the world will fail when it is faced with the task of placing its unique colonising experience at the service of the reconstruction of the ancient home of the People of the Bible. The task may not be an easy one for the Mandatory Power, but for the success it will attain it is assured of the undying gratitude not only of the Jews but of all that is noblest in mankind. {signed} Albert Einstein – Albert Einstein, About Zionism , pp 54-62

THE MASSIVE DANGER OF IRAN TO CIVILIZATION MEANS THAT WE SUPPORT TOTALLY NETANYAHU SPEAKING TO CONGRESS ON MARCH 3

The crucifixion of William of Norwich depicted on a rood screen in Holy Trinity church, Loddon, Norfolk (picture from Wikipedia)

The attacks on Netanyahu by the Fascist “Left” today are not simply Antisemitism in a general sense. Rather they are the descent into the hell of the Middle Ages as the story below gives a glimpse into…

In England in 1144 Jews of Norwich were accused of ritual murder after a boy, William of Norwich, was found dead with stab wounds in the woods. William’s hagiographer, Thomas of Monmouth, claimed that every year there is an international council of Jews at which they choose the country in which a child will be killed during Easter, because, he claimed, of a Jewish prophecy that states that the killing of a Christian child each year will ensure that the Jews will be restored to the Holy Land. In 1144 England was chosen, and the leaders of the Jewish community delegated the Jews of Norwich to perform the killing. They then abducted and crucified William.[18] The legend was turned into a cult, with William acquiring the status of martyr and pilgrims bringing offerings to the local church.[19]

Mr Netanyahu took a noticeably hard-line on Iran on Monday at a ceremony ushering in General Gadi Eisenkot as the new army chief-of-staff, in place of the outgoing Benny Gantz, who is retiring.

“I promise you Gadi – you will not have a single day of grace,” he said. “The Middle East is disintegrating. States are collapsing. An empire is charging into this vacuum – Iran. It aspires to acquire nuclear weapons. It is trying to encircle us with four murderous armies.

“It vows openly to destroy the state of Israel in one way or another. We will require every tool, every person, because there’s no mercy for the weak in the Middle East. Only the strong ones survive.”

We Trotskyists on 4international were openly critical of Netanyahu in the past in particular of his allowing Jihadist scum of Hamas and Islamic Jihad to hit Sderot in Israel with rockets over a period of not weeks but many years. That was our criticism from the Trotskyist and Patriotic pro-Jewish side of a leadership which sadly too often fails the Jews.

BUT…The decision of Netanyahu to speak to the US Congress on March 3 2015 is different and very different. Completely different. To the nth degree of difference!

In this case we urge Netanyahu to do just this – to go to America and to explain to members of Congress (and through them to the great American people including  American working class people) what is the GREAT DANGER OF IRAN and the great danger of a NUCLEAR ARMED Iran. First to Jews and Israel…Second to the whole of civilization.

This position of ours is so unusual on the present day “left” that we need to give a little note of explanation. We cannot do this fully here as books would need to be written to thoroughly explain but some will and can understand … just as the history of Israel has been lied and distorted so has the history of Trotskyism been lied and distorted. We will of course come back to this.

We will be covering this visit closely over the next 2 weeks and I wish to here reaffirm the words of Netanyahu as reproduced above by The Telegraph

The Middle East is disintegrating. States are collapsing. An empire is charging into this vacuum – Iran.

This will be the central content of our articles

AS AN ISRAELI AND JEWISH “LEADER” I FIND NETANYAHU TO BE A WEAK SHELL OF A MAN..WHAT HIZBULLAH MURDER OF TWO MEANS

to me brave Israeli soldiers (as this Ethiopian girl) deserve great leaders and I find Netanyahu to be an empty shell

I think that Netanyahu is a blow hard Israeli politician but a man who does Little to defend Jews and justice in the world. To me he is an empty “Shell”. I have never forgiven Netanyahu and never will for “accepting” the Hamas rockets onto Sderot for so long, if truth be told for many years.. Netanyahu is that type of man. Although I defend him against Obama type Antisemitism I do not like anything about him as a leader. I like leaders to be above all proud and independent minded in their thinking and forgive me I have found Netanyahu to be the opposite. So in the recent attack which killed the two soldiers in Golan Netanyahu reacts by bluster against Hizbullah when the real attack should be against the United Nations in Lebanon, and either the Spanish or Irish troops who are clearly on the side of Hizbullah and Iran, and against Obama and the Spanish Governemnt on the same basis. But from Netanyahu only bluster. To me it is the same as the rockets on Sderot and Netanyahu ACCEPTS in his own internal thought machinations the sacrifice of these two Young Jewish men. of course there will be funerals and all that with Netanyahu there but to me that is the sense of it. At the funerals Netanyahu may feel genuine sorrow but there is more to living that that, there is also acting.

There is a super article on Jerusalem Posts, actually from Reuters 2013 (July) and read it please http://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Analysis-By-relying-on-Iran-and-Hezbollah-Syrias-Assad-risks-irrelevance-320532

This analysis is one of the very few I have seen that mirrors the work of Daniel Pipes on this in that what alternatives did Assad have when Obama witht he huge power of the US went on the warpath?

Place into google something like “who started it in Syria?” and you will have to do some thinking on what you see. For example I read this:

“Main Issues: The Roots of the Conflict

The Syrian uprising started as a reaction to the Arab Spring, a series of anti-government protests across the Arab world inspired by the fall of the Tunisian regime in early 2011. But at the root of the conflict was anger over unemployment, decades of dictatorship, corruption and state violence under of the Middle East’s most repressive regimes.

But if you leave Syria for a moment what was happening in Libya? Wikipedia under “death of Gadhafi” writes in mid 2011:

“After the fall of Tripoli to forces of the opposition National Transitional Council (NTC) in August 2011, Gaddafi and his family fled the Libyan capital. He was widely rumoured to have taken refuge in the south of the country and in fact Gaddafi had fled in a small convoy to Sirte on the day Tripoli fell. His son Mutassim Gaddafi followed in a second convoy.[3]

This WAS the so-called Arab Spring which was a way for Obama and the Neocons to bring strife and huge suffering to vast areas of the world by deposing sitting rulers. Is this CIA rule by chaos?

Only a fool would imagine that a protest in the traditional Jihad areas of Syria would be JUST about lack of jobs. If only the world was like that people like Seumus Milne would be happy Little people. But it is not. The Jihad cuts across under its own steam as it were, and related but separate the Neocons (an inprecise term I admit) have been using the Jihad for purposes which may be sinister indeed.

It was not just that Assad put down the protest but that the protest was followed very quickly by arms.

This is the world of “conspiracy” which is not conspiracy thinking a la Ilke because it is as plain as day that the US was arming the Jihad.

This is the tragedy. Assad had nobody to turn to but the Shia reaactionaries and utter Nazi type Antisemites of Hizbullah and Iran.

The biggest crime that Netanyahu has carried out against Israel was in supporting this Jihad against these rulers right down the line.

Netanyahu could easily have said “I defend Assad against this Jihad. I am opposed to the alliance which Assad makes with Hizbullah and Iran” or “I defend Mubarak against this Jihad but I will defend Israel if Mubarak strikes us”

Why not? What was stopping him? Nothing except that he is at heart a Neocon!

This is something that Israelis who are grown up sucking up to US Imperialism are unble to face up to.

AFTER PARIS A NEW LEADERSHIP IS NEEDED IN ISRAEL TO COMPLETELY SMASH “PALESTINIANISM” (ISLAM JIHAD)

MK Zahava Galon

Felix Quigley writes…Many have written on this but they completely miss the point and misread the situation. The Butchery in Charlie Hebco and the Jewish shop on Paris  (and it is often overlooked that in Charlie’s the Jewish woman was picked out because she was a Jew)  the point being that it has created an entirely different situation.
The Israeli politicians are proceeding as if it was the same.
The old himming and hamming in Israel has to end because it will not work anymore. In one sense they are right. Why should French Jews come and be attacked by Arabs in Judea? Why? That is a total sacrilege.
The fact is that the French situation poses new rsponsibilities on the Israeli leaders none of whom including Bennett are able to take the measures needed. THAT is the point.
What measures’ Complete complete war on Palestinianism aka Islam aka Jihad aka Mohammedanism

Meretz Chairman MK Zahava Gal-On intends to petition the Attorney General to stop plans from Minister of Construction Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) to house immigrants from France in Judea and Samaria.

Ariel sent a letter asking the Yesha Council where the flow of immigrants from France could settle, as France reels from a string of anti-Semitic attacks.

France led the list of countries from which Jews made aliyah to Israel in 2014, with almost 7,000 new French immigrants, more than double the 3,400 who came last year. Aliyah is only expected to increase after the latest spate of anti-Semitic attacks.

Ariel ordered officials from the Ministry of Housing and Construction and the Israel Lands Authority to plan the expansion of Judea and Samaria communities, which have suffered multiple building freezes, to absorb immigrants.

“There is no doubt that the French Jews feel deep sympathy with the settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria,” Ariel wrote, “and they may want to reside there.”

Gal-On vowed Wednesday to contact Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to contest the plan, following a similar reaction from far-left Channel 2 commentator Amnon Abramovich.

Abramovich argued that French Jews, who are already fleeing from a rising tide of Islamism in their home country, would feel distinctly uncomfortable moving to a region whereby the Jewish communities are surrounded by Arabs – and, often, villages with high levels of support for Hamas. France has seen a sharp rise in anti-Semitism in recent years, and it flared particularly in 2014 and during Operation Protective Edge, with violent protests in Paris

Labor leaders Tzipi Livni and Yitzhak Herzog further slammed the plan as a “cynical move that will hurt Israel’s international standing” that will “deepen the isolation Bibi [Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu – ed.] got us into” and “deeply hurt our relations with world Jewry.”

Many thanks to SimonXML for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

English transcript:

Madam President, I am extremely angry. I am furious. Frankly, my party is furious. Furious that once again there have been innocent victims of Islam. Jews, critics of Islam, innocent people.

And also very angry because there are the same politically correct responses. The denial that Islam is the cause. The failure to make the Netherlands safer.

And, madam president, I wonder how many more debates will be needed, how many more attacks there will have to be, how many more innocent people will have to die before the penny drops. Before the cabinet and the majority of this Chamber wake up. It’s enough to drive you mad.

I don’t understand it at all, and I am justifiably extremely angry about it. Not just because I am also on the Al-Qaeda hit list, but because this concerns the safety of the Netherlands. The safety of the Dutch.

What is needed, madam president, and what is currently missing is a good analysis of the cause and the right solution for all this terror. The cause, madam president, is of course Islam. Islam that declared war against us a long time ago. The Islamization of the Free West. Of the Netherlands. Of Europe.

Of course there are peaceful Muslims. But there is no such thing as peaceful Islam. And of course not all Muslims are terrorists. And anyone who still dares to deny that there is a link between the terror and Islam is crazy.

Madam President, Islamization is a life-threatening danger. For decades, mass immigration has been bringing hundreds of thousands of people from an alien culture to Europe. To our country. Why do we import all this misery? Madam President, everywhere, wherever it comes, Islam brings us hate and violence. In every country where Islam is strong it is at the cost of freedom. Freedom of speech, of journalists, minorities, everyone.

Madam president, and that’s without mentioning the terror organizations such as the Islamic State, Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, to name just a few.

Islam, madam president, simply does not belong in the Netherlands. It is a danger to the Netherlands. We must de-Islamize.

Madam President, apart from this analysis, what is particularly shocking is the total inanity of the terror measures. I find it inconceivable that after all these years of debate, the Cabinet proposes measures that will cause more problems in the Netherlands rather than fewer. How is it possible — I can’t explain it to anyone in our country — that Jihadis who want to go to Syria to do the most horrific things there, are stopped? It’s unbelievable. Let them go! All of them! We should be glad to see the back of them.

We don’t do that, the Cabinet doesn’t do that. They don’t even put the people they stop in prison, leaving ticking time bombs, Islamic terrorists, to roam free in the Netherlands. That should not be possible!

Let the people leave, madam president, but never let them come back. Take away their passports, revoke the Schengen Treaty and reinstate border controls. That legislative proposals are now being made that we should have seen ten years ago. Ten years ago. That is what the Netherlands deserved and that is what the analysis justifies.

And I completely fail to understand why the Cabinet lets the Jihadists come back. How stupid can you be?

Of the people that have returned, I believe that three have been imprisoned and the rest have been left free to walk around. It’s enough to drive you mad. Madam President, from all other Schengen countries — that’s 25 not counting the Netherlands — people can also simply come to the Netherlands. Thousands of terrorists. According to Europol, 5,000 can simply come to the Netherlands.

What in heaven’s name are you doing? I’m not speaking in Chinese, am I? Surely we don’t want all those people to come to the Netherlands?

Madam President, what I also don’t understand is that the army is deployed to Mali, is deployed to Afghanistan, while it should of course be protecting vital points in the Netherlands such as railway stations, airports, shopping malls and streets. Yesterday, the front page of a national newspaper had a report that Amsterdam is a target. What are the military doing in Mali? Let them protect this country.

Madam President, these are big words but I do mean them. Of course the Cabinet is not responsible for every attack. But if someone who could have been stopped when coming back to the Netherlands. Or if someone that the Cabinet prevented from going to Syria without putting them in prison. Or if someone comes to the Netherlands from another Schengen country and carries out an attack, this Cabinet has blood on its hands. And that is a terrible thing to have to say.

And, Prime Minister, never say that you were not warned. In the last ten years I have told you and your predecessors a thousand times. You will never be able to get away with the words “wir haben es nicht gewusst”. You did know. You have known it for years.

So make the right analysis, make the Netherlands safer. Do not drive myself and the Netherlands to despair. Put an end to the incompetence.

This, madam president, after all these years, is no longer party politics. It concerns the safety of our country. The safety of our citizens. And the Cabinet lets it happen.

Madam president, fortunately, the tide in Europe and in the Netherlands is turning. More and more people in Europe are fed up with all the people who look the other way. In Germany, 40,000 people took to the streets the other night to demonstrate against Islamization. Parties such as the PVV are growing throughout the whole of Europe.

People have had enough. Enough of Islamization. Enough of members of the political elite who look the other way.

And I have been telling the Prime Minister, even though he will not listen to me. You cannot put the genie back in the bottle. They are the people, not you. They will turn the tide, madam president, and turn it must.

Because enough is enough.

Thank you.

JIMMY CARTER THINGS THAT ISLAM IS SO GREAT AFTER THE PARIS MURDERS…DISINTEGRATION OF HUMAN THOUGHT

Post carried by Pamela Geller where Carter talks about the Paris slaughter and the “greatness” of Islam. This is the breakdown in all critical thought. Actually Carter is saying nothing different than all of the main Government leaders in the world today and especially what  Merkel is saying as she comtemplates the banning of Pegida. There is a total disintegration of human thought. I see this as the disintegration of the system of capitalism itself and I see all of these left movements as being a reflection of this disintegration. But most of all Carter is one evil bxxxxxd and is such an insult to the poor people who were massacred in París, and in Nigeria, and in Pakistan, and in Israel…felix quigley

Jimmy Carter: Paris attacks provides an opportunity for the West to discover what makes Islam “great”

The cancer that afflicted so many members of Jimmy Carter’s family has obviously taken hold and eaten away at large portions of his brains.
He has gone mad. Off the rails, no holds barred mad.

“Jimmy Carter: Jews Safer in France than Israel,” Free Beacon, January 13, 2015

Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that Jews “on the average” are “safer in France” than in Israel, despite a massive uptick in extremist violence that has targeted Jewish people living in that country.

Carter’s claim came in response to a recent call by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inviting France’s endangered Jews to move to Israel, the world’s only Jewish state.

Jews have fled Paris en massage due to growing anti-Semitism and the recent the massacre of Jews in a kosher food store by Islamic extremists. The editor of Britain’s Jewish Chronicle said that the problem is so bad that “every single French Jew I know has either left or is actively working out how to leave.”

However, Carter said that Jews are still safer in France than in “some place in Israel,” an apparent reference to areas often struck by terrorism from groups such as Hamas.

“My guess is that the Jews who live in France will maybe not take this as a positive step, and say the only way you can be safe is to go to Israel,” Carter said in an interview with HuffPost Live. “I would guess that you may be, on the average, maybe safer in France than some places in Israel, but I’m not trying to make a judgment.”

Carter also said that the recent attacks in Paris should provide an opportunity for the West to discover what makes Islam “great.”

“I think this is going to give a lot of people incentive to look into Islamicism, what is it about this religion that makes it great, that makes it appeal to really billions of people and to understand that Islamic leaders condemn this kind of terrorism just like the rest of the world,” he said.

ON THE CHARLIE HEBTO JIHAD MURDERS ISRAPINDIT UNDER BELMAN BETRAYS ALL JEWS

Ross and Belman of Israpundit misunderstand what the issue is about. It is not about how good the Charlie Hebto was towards Jews and Israel but it was about the right to publish and not be murdered for publishing. The Israpundit is imbecile and is a danger to all Jews today

This was posted on israpundit (editor Ted Belman) yesterday

bernard ross says:

France: ‘I am not Charlie,’ Jean-Marie Le Pen says…..
“Today, everyone is saying: ‘We are all Charlie, I am Charlie.’ Well, I’m sorry, but I’m not Charlie,” Le Pen said. “I am touched by the deaths of 12 French compatriots whose political identity I don’t even want to know – although I know it well enough already. These were the enemies of the FN who only recently demanded the party’s dissolution.”
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4613491,00.html

I am also not charlie…… before supporting journalists I first want to know if they spread libels about israel and the jews. These days most left wing journalists libel Israel and IMO such libels are a form of attempted genocide. Secondly, these gratuitous outpouring always amount to nothing but a way of evading responsibility and truth. Third, the euros do not equate this terror of theirs with the terror against Israel and the Jews. They still want the Jews in Israel to suffer from the honor killers. (end Ross statement)

But Ross knows very well that indeed the Charlie Hebto were pro-Palestinian Arab and had bought into the Arab false narrative or lies about the birth of Israel

So therefore he refuses to defend the Charlie Hebto journalists and the right to publish in a situation where the Jihad had mown them down

This is the position of EVERY single person now connected with Israpundit including the editor Belman. To prove the latter consult the post (http://www.israpundit.org/archives/63603794#comments) and see the silence of Belman meaning that Belman agrees with the above. This was the site launched by Joseph Alexander Norland those years ago but Joseph would not have been silent. Not!

There is a severe crisis inside the ranks of Zionism. I think the position above of all of these on Israpundit shows and serves to explain this crisis.

The issue of the Antisemitism on Charloe Hebto is one thing and it is quite distinct from their murder by Jihadist scum.

Ross and Belman are trying to make it the same thing.

There must be absolute clarity among Jewish people on this and on issues like this which are going to become more and more common.

This is now a situation where a leading Jewish blog (that is Israpundit) which boasts daily about its influence is carrying a line of being passive over the murder of the Charlie Hebto murders, and consequently running parallel with this over the issue of the Blasphemy laws, and of the right in the west of Free Speech

Why does Belman not speak up on this if he disagrees. What sort of a spineless creature is he anyway?

FOR VERY MANY REASONS NETANYAHU SHOULD HAVE GIVEN PARIS MARCH A MISS

Bibi joined the fast becoming nazi leaders on the Paris march. Bibi is spineless.

Bibi…he was a speck of dust in the crowd. They were hardly moving such was the jam but as has been wisely commented on Martin Sherman Facebook…they were marching for what? Exactly?

There is a good chance that as far as all these leaders (including Abbas the Holocaust Denier) were concerned they were marching for and to support a new Legislation in each country that will prohibit the exposure of Islam both politically and historically. A speech law! A thought law! As we speak the Irish Dail led by the Irish Labourites are considering a hate speech law. The Irish rebel and socialist revolutionary James Connolly (executed by the British in 1916) founded the Irish Labour Party and would be today aghast! Things change with time. Things do deteriorate,

The only real patriots in France were not there but were behind Marine le Pen and they are not insignificant in numbers, These followers despite nasty dad le Pen are far closer to Israel on the Palestinian Arab enemy of the Jews

A speck of dust. If Netanyahu had real courage he would really lead. This is the severe crisis that the Jews are in. Some say just get out of France. Yes I agree but do Jews not see that this is evading the issue of leadership.

Surely all thoughtful Jewish people must see that that is an evasión of leadership and leads into the bankrupt “Samson” option which is such utter tripe.

NETANYAHU SHOULD DEMAND THAT THE ANTISEMITE ABBAS BE REMOVED FROM THE PARIS MARCH TODAY AND IF NOT HE WILL PULL OUT

The picture above was posted online by the party of Palestinian Arab President Mahmoud Abbas. The picture has skulls with Star of David imprinted and has the words in Arabic alongside “lingering on your skulls”

The Muslim who took over the Jewish kosher store in Paris stated that he did so deliberately and specifically because it was Jewish. Four Jews lost their lives at the hands of this Muslim. The Young son of this Jewish man was in Israel when he heard the news of the murder of his Father,

Abbas is responsable for the Múnich Olympics Massacre and with Arafat for the murder of thousands of Jews in the Intifadas

Oh and he got his doctorate in Stalinist Russia by writing a tract based on Holocaust Denial

This man who is a fiendish Antisemite in the mould of Hajj Amin el Husseini and Hitler walks today in Paris.

That Abbas is welcomed there tells us lots about the nature of the march.

Only one party in France actually fights against the Muslim Jihad which is fed by the immigration into France of some 5 to 6 million Muslims

The majority of these Muslims in France, the great majority, are opposed to the rights of free speech and it was in fighting for this right of free speech that the Charlie cartoonists were murdered.

The French Governments brought these Muslims in. It is the presence of these Muslims in such numbers that mean today that Jewish lives are NOT safe. So Jews must leave France and go to the only country in which they are accepted as Jews and that only country is Israel.

That needs to be emphasised. The Muslims in France are opposed to the free speech rights of the Charlie murdered cartoonists. The Charlie cartoonists were murdered by the same Antisemites of Islam that forcé Jews to flee today.

Today the government heads are walking in order to deflect and in order to pretend that Islam is peace.

That is a very big lie. It is a brazen lie that needs urgently to be exposed by building a mass Trotskyist Party – also to combat the lies of the Stalinist “Liberation” and  various antisemite anarchist groups in France

These Government heads say that the cartoonists were murdered by “extremsits” etc but not by Islam

By pretending to be concerned about the Charlie cartoonists the finger from these capitalist politicians points straight against the national Front of Marine le Pen.

In Ireland the Labourites in the Government are planning a law against “Hate Speech” which in reality means a law to prevent us from making a critique of Islam from an historical and contemporary political viewpoint.

Yes they too will march today in Paris.

But freedom of speech was what the Charlie cartoonists were all about.

4international as a Trotskyist movement which defends Israel and Jews say that Netanyahu should not be there. Instead Netanyahu should seek a close Alliance in these political conditions with Marine le Pen and against the ruling clases of Europe

This is not imposible to do but Netanyahu will not do it and I doubt of Bennett would either so it expresses the crisis inside Israel and inside the Jewish people as well.

The man behind this will be narching in Paris this afternoon

DANGER OF HOLOCAUST HANGS OVER THIS ISRAELI ELECTION (ELECTION ROUNDUP 1)

(from Jerusalem Post) (Our analysis at the end)

Feiglin will host an event at the same time at the Jerusalem International Convention Center during which he will reveal his political plans.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to unveil the Likud’s campaign at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds Monday night in an attempt to set the agenda of the March 17 election. In the meantime, a recount was required due to the fact that the results of the polling station at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds were counted twice, while the votes at some polling stations were not counted at all.

Netanyahu’s associates have promised to change the dynamic of the campaign at the rally. But the event could end up being overshadowed by problems counting the votes in last Thursday’s Likud primary and the possible defection of Likud MK Moshe Feiglin.

Feiglin looks to host an event at the same time at the Jerusalem International Convention Center, during which he is expected to reveal his political plans. A source close to Feiglin hinted that he could announce his departure from the Likud at the event, because he had hit a “glass ceiling” in the party.

“Now is the time to prepare for the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead,” Feiglin wrote his followers in the invitation to the event.

“We must not take our eyes off our main goal: authentic Jewish leadership for the State of Israel.”

Feiglin’s possibilities include forming a new party or joining other right-wing parties led by Shas chairman Eli Yishai or Michael Ben-Ari.

Another Likud MK besides Feiglin who did not earn what is considered a realistic slot on the Likud list at the primary was MK Tzipi Hotovely. But a recount of votes Sunday resulted in her remaining in the 26th slot and former Kadima minister Avi Dichter preserving the more realistic 20th slot.

Other effects of the recount resulted in MKs Danny Danon and Yariv Levin rising on the list to the ninth and tenth slots, respectively, and Netanyahu allies Tzachi Hanegbi and Ophir Akunis moving down, though remaining in realistic slots.

El Al pilot and former IDF fighter pilot Yoav Kisch won the realistic 19th slot reserved for a candidate from the Dan region. Kisch, age 46, intends to focus in the Knesset on socioeconomic issues and equalizing the burden of IDF service.

But his views on Palestinian issues are more moderate than those of other Likud candidates. For instance, he supports the creation of a Palestinian state.

“A one-state solution is bad for Israel and extremists pushing that are wrong,” he said. “I want Israel to maintain a Jewish majority, but I oppose withdrawals and there is currently no partner on the Palestinian side.”

Kisch said he was not disappointed that Feiglin has apparently been forced out of the next Knesset, at least with the Likud.

“Feiglin’s views are not those of the Likud,” he said. “I feel I got my party back.”

“A one-state solution is bad for Israel and extremists pushing that are wrong,” he said. “I want Israel to maintain a Jewish majority, but I oppose withdrawals and there is currently no partner on the Palestinian side.”

This report from Jerusalem Post shows the dire straits that Israeli politics are in

Let us deal with a few people in this report:

  1. Bennett…I believe that Bennett is a windbag. He sits in a party that is a little like Podemos in Spain. There is a huge upsurge among youth in many countries and this is the Israeli equivalent. These youth in Israel are fed up with the Israeli ruling elites. These elites are represented by Netanyahu and on the outright traitor side, by Livni and Labour Party Herzog. They are not prepared to deal with a Fascist enemy in the shape of Fatah and Hamas. The youth are left at sea and thus grabbed for and by Bennett who is a fast talker but is an empty shell (in my opinion)
  2. Feiglin…There is a difference between Israeli patriotism and theocracy. Love of the country, willingness to sacrifice that has always been in the best national liberation movements. This love of the land is also love of heritage, which is love and certainly respect for the Bible and Biblical traditions. But Feiglin in my opinion goes too close to theocracy and in my opinion (again) will never win the youth
  3. Danon…Very much the key figure in the report above. Danon buried his fight against Netanyahu when it became a matter of his own wallet. Netanyau owns these posts and parcels them out (I think Danon is placed about 10 which is what they call “realistic”, that is the PR farce they vote for a slate of candidates not for an individual politician
  4. Netanyahu—the shifter. This man will lie to his Granny in order to advance his nasty carcass up the ladder (Still I will defend him if attacked by Antisemites like Obama). He is what is called in my native Ireland a “gombeen” politician. Never ever to be trusted. To be cast out into the darkness asap!

WHAT IS NEEDED THOUGH

Needed very urgently is a government in Israel that will immediately (and I stress immediately) arrest, sentence, break up all of the leadership of Fatah and Hamas. These are openly Nazi parties and their whole project against Jews is openly Nazi. You can also trace their history to the Nazis, their originator being Hajj Amin el Husseini, sidekick of Eichmann.

That is the FIRST step. That is certainly doable. Next step such as making it easy for Arabs to leave for new pastures such as Jordan, will follow. BUT I emphasise that is the first step. How to take that step is how and what I as a Trotskyist is all about.

AFTER THE UN VOTE OF 8 FOR THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR ISRAEL IS TO ETHNICALLY CLEANSE THEIR HOMELAND

Jews and Israelis must understand that this picture is just around the corner again if they do not act decisively and put an end to this Nazi Palestinianism

The vote in the United Nations Security Council to push Israel out of Judea and Samaria and install a Hajj Amin el Husseini “Palestinian” state thereon, a direct threat to all Jews in Israel, only just failed. It is with great alarm that I see bloggers and different people (Jews) talking about this being a victory. A victory! With the two key countries in the world, Russia and China, voting for this and it is called a victory.

I have posed a number of questions to Barry Shaw. I have watched his video that he placed on the internet in which he attacks Europe etc. etc. but I have asked Shaw what is his position on Stalinism and Trotskyism and I have asked him what was the reason he was for the 2003 NeoCon War against Saddam? I suppose I am asking him what he may have learned from this past practice of his in 2003. But it is not personal. In the Jewish Israeli fold there are many like Shaw and all I want is for them to account for their past political positions.

What is the past of Israel under these leaders and this way of conducting politics. It is a fact that Israel struck up a relationship with the Apartheid regime in South Africa – the most racist set of clowns the world has ever known. And China and Russia know very well that a big section of the Israeli leadership was backing Bush in his war to remove Saddam. And that Israel has been taking part in the war on Assad which has had the result of the ethnic cleansing of Christians under Islamic State.

And now probably these same people are coming out this morning talking about all they will do now after this UN vote, and what they will do to Russia and what they will do to China bla bla bla.

Do they not think that there may be a connection to the 2003 war on Saddam?

Do they not think that the removing of Saddam was the green light to Iranian Fascism? Did they not see that at the time? Why did Shaw and the rest of these “pundits” not see this at the time? Why not see the connection to the present plight of Israel?

I am rereading what Martin Sherman wrote at the time of the last Gaza war and I am in agreement with it.

But sitting very comfortably on Sherman’s Facebook Page is Barry Shaw and he has never been challenged on what I say above….Am I wrong or right to challenge the political positions of such people as Shaw?

(start quote from Sherman article here)

Sadly, however, the government has given the public little coherent indication of its aims, or of the realities it is striving to create.

 Ill-defined and inadequate objectives

Worse, not only is there no clear indication of where the country is going, there seems to be little willingness to recognize how we got here.

In the third week of Operation Protective Edge, the government is still waffling on its objectives. These keep morphing from one vague, vacuous formulation to another, as developments on the battlefield make each succeeding definition of the operation’s goals appear abysmally inadequate and ineffectual.

Initially, the government declared that all it aspired to was to “restore calm” – i.e.

to reinstate the status quo – and if Hamas would cease fire, so would Israel.

Just how myopic that would have been is starkly underscored by what has become chillingly apparent during the operation – the devastating potential of an elaborate tunnel system developed by the terror organizations in Gaza.

Had a cease-fire been implemented in such circumstances, Hamas would have been free to continue developing its deadly subterranean potential, which it could activate at a moment of its choosing.

This appalling prospect makes deeply disturbing questions, regarding the competence and/or judgment of the nation’s leadership, unavoidable, even as the battles rage on. Unless the reasons for the current predicament are understood, no effective remedy can be found.

Deeply disturbing questions

We must weigh the only two possibilities before us: (a) either the government was aware of the deadly menace posed by the network of tunnels; or (b) it wasn’t.

If it was, then willingness to agree to a cease-fire before the danger was eliminated reflects a disturbing readiness to reconcile itself to the dangers and expose the country’s civilian population to murderous consequences in the future.

If it was oblivious to these dangers, this reflects a grave ignorance of deadly threats facing the country, a sign of just how out of touch the leadership of the nation has been with the ominous reality we inhabit.

Although I rarely find occasion to quote Haaretz as a corroborating source, my eye could not help catching the pungent title of a piece written by veteran defense correspondent Amos Harel: “Hamas’ terror tunnels – a national strategic failure for Israel”.

Harel points out: “A week ago, Israel announced its willingness to accept a cease-fire in Gaza… This means one of two things. Either the ministers and generals were willing last week to let these tunnels, every one a ticking bomb, tick softly under kibbutz dining rooms until the next escalation, or they weren’t aware of the seriousness of the risk.”

He continues: “So either they were taking a calculated risk of unusual [read “gigantic” – M.S.] dimensions, or they didn’t have enough intelligence [information] before the operation (which doesn’t quite square with a senior officer’s claim…

that ‘never before has the army had such quality intelligence before an operation’).”

Prescient prediction

It is difficult to accept that the government was totally unaware of Hamas’s tunneling endeavor. As early as 2006, Hamas used a tunnel to abduct Gilad Schalit and kill two of his comrades near Kerem Shalom, eventually attaining the liberation of 1,027 convicted terrorists. Last October, the discovery of an almost 2-km.-long tunnel near Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha was widely reported, and according to several sources, its objective was a kindergarten, located close to its exit point, 300 meters inside Israel.

The threat imminent in Hamas’s burrowing enterprise, and the conditions under which it might be employed, were presciently predicted 10 months ago by Harel. In an article, carrying the ominous headline: “Hamas’ strategic tunnels: Millions of dollars to spirit kidnapped Israelis into Gaza” (October 13, 2013), he warned of the likely reaction of Hamas should it feel weakened, precisely what Israeli politicians were crowing about just prior to the current round of violence. He cautioned: “… if Hamas decides to try to overcome its present distress by reigniting the front against Israel, using the tunnels to launch an attack could be one of its main options.”

His prediction proved chillingly precise.

Figuring the flaccidity factor: Impotence not ignorance

Given that it is highly implausible that the government was unaware of the danger looming under its very nose (or rather, feet), how are we to account for the flaccidity of its response – which, but for good fortune, could have precipitated outcomes of unthinkable tragedy.

Former Jerusalem Post Editor in Chief Bret Stephens, in a recent Wall Street Journal piece (July 14), provides a partial explanation for the phenomenon, suggesting that Israel’s “real weakness is a certain kind of vanity that confuses stainlessness with virtue, favors moral self-regard over normal self-interest, and believes in politics as an exercise not in power but in self-examination.”

For all its admirable eloquence, Stephens’s diagnosis relates more to the symptoms of the malaise, rather than its causes.

In numerous columns, I have been at pains to explain the roots of this enervating phenomenon (which I have designated “The Limousine Theory of Israeli politics”) and warned of the ruinous results it will inevitably wreak upon us.

The underlying reason for the inadequate responses to clearly apparent dangers is that Israel’s leaders have been cowered into this moralistic masochism by an aggressive and intolerant triad of left-wing civil society elites (in the legal establishment, the mainstream media and academe), who, through their unelected position of privilege and power, have taken control of the political discourse in the country.

The political discourse determines the elected political leadership’s perception of policy constraints and policy possibilities.

Through dominance of the discourse, these elites can control the parameters of Israeli policy-making and impose their worldview of political appeasement and territorial concessions on it.

Sacrificing lives for a ‘two-state deity’

These elites have, to a large degree, mortgaged their personal prestige and professional positions, and much of their livelihood, to the two-state concept and the land-for-peace doctrine on which it rests.

Were this doctrine to be discredited, all these benefits – material and otherwise – would be jeopardized. They, therefore, have a vested interest in preserving a perception that it is valid – no matter how incongruent with reality and rationality it proves – and must endeavor to prevent the adoption of any policy measures that put paid to the two-state formula.

Since the attainment of strategic victory in Gaza calls for measures that preclude any agreement on a Palestinian state, the policy-relevant discourse, which these elites mold, has been devoted to ridiculing such measures as impractical or infeasible, and to promoting measures that can only bring about a temporary respite to the fighting. These respites have always been exploited by the enemy to enhance its capabilities for the inevitable next round – and the next inevitable batch of casualties.

Oblivious to facts, and impervious to reason, in a desperate attempt to sustain an unworkable paradigm, Israeli left-wing elites perpetuate bout after escalating bout of violence, callously sacrificing ever more lives on the altar of the false deity of twostates- for-two-peoples.

‘Mowing the lawn’ won’t cut it

The reluctance to face unpalatable realities has spawned new terminology to paper over intellectual surrender, and mask unwillingness to accept the need for regrettably harsh but essential policies.

First, we were told that since there was “no solution” to the Israel-Arab conflict, we should adopt an approach of “conflict management” rather than “conflict resolution.”

Now we have a new term in the professional jargon to convey a similar perspective: “mowing the grass.” This is the name for an approach that entails a new round of fighting every time the Palestinian violence reaches levels Israel finds unacceptable.

Its “rationale” – for want of a better term – was recently articulated by Efraim Inbar and Eitan Shamir of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, Bar-Ilan University, as: “The use of force, not intended to attain impossible political goals, but rather [as a] long-term strategy of attrition designed primarily to debilitate the enemy capabilities.”

Sadly, what we have seen is that far from “debilitating the enemy capabilities,” because said enemy keeps reappearing, spoiling for a fight, ever bolder with ever-greater capabilities.

It is an open question just how many more rounds of “mowing” the residents of southern Israel will endure before losing confidence that the government will provide adequate protection and choose to evacuate the area.

No, periodically mowing the lawn is not a policy that can endure for long – it simply will not cut it. The grass needs to be uprooted – once and for all.

 Gaza: What would Einstein say?

Albert Einstein famously said that one could not solve a problem with the level of thinking that created it.

Clearly, the problem of Gaza was created by the belief that land could be transferred to the Palestinian Arabs to provide them a viable opportunity for self-governance.

Equally clearly, then, the problem of Gaza cannot be solved by persisting with ideas that created it – i.e. persisting with a plan for Israel to provide the Palestinian Arabs with land for self-governance.

The problem can only be solved by entirely abandoning the concept that Gaza should be governed by Palestinian Arabs. Any effective solution must follow this new line of reasoning.

Any other outcome will merely prolong the problem. If Hamas comes out stronger from this round of fighting, it will be only a matter of time before the next, probably more deadly, round breaks out.

If Hamas comes out weaker from this round of fighting, it is only a matter of time before it will be replaced by an even more violent extremist-successor – and thus, once more, only a matter of time until the next, probably more deadly, round breaks out.

The only durable solution requires dismantling Gaza, humanitarian relocation of the non-belligerent Arab population, and extension of Israeli sovereignty over the region.

That is the only approach that can solve the problem of Gaza.

That is the only approach that will eliminate the threat to Israel continually issuing from Gaza.

That is the only approach that will extricate the non-belligerent Palestinians from the clutches of the cruel, corrupt cliques who led them astray for decades.

That is the only approach that will preclude a need for Israel to “rule over another people.”

Gaza: What would Herbert Hoover say?

Former US President Herbert Hoover, dubbed the “Great Humanitarian” for his efforts to relieve famine in Europe after WWI, wrote in The Problems of Lasting Peace: “Consideration should be given even to the heroic remedy of transfer of populations…the hardship of moving is great, but it is [still] less than the constant suffering of minorities and the constant recurrence of war.”

How could anyone, with any degree of compassion and humanity, disagree?
