“Palestinian” blogger Faces Life Sentence for Facebook Criticism of Islam

First of all I placed in “google search” the words Palestine Blogger Facebook and there came up many entries, with Atlas Shrugs at the top

Then I placed the following “palestinian blogger facebook galloway ipsc”, because I wanted to see if Galloway on his blog or the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign were covering the issue.

there was nothing at all on the issue from these. This means that both Galloway and the IPSC are severely doctoring the News.

The biggest form of Lies today are Lies of Omision. It is the refusal to give the facts and to edit the Facts or News.

Yet this story about this Palestinian Arab who lives in Gaza is of extreme importance and is most instructional. It certainly has to go into the pot to get a handle on what is happening there, and what are the tensions in a future (planned by US Government) of the state of Palestine “living side by side in peace with Israel!!!LOL”

Obama just sent these cavemen another 150 million dollars, while he was cutting off Israel’s oxygen. Appalling. This Palestinaian blogger needs my bus ad.

The case of the unlikely apostate, a shy barber from the West Bank town of Qalqilya, is highlighting the limits of tolerance in the Western-backed Palestinian Authority – and illustrating a new trend by authorities in the Arab world to mine social media for evidence.

Residents of Qalqilya say they had no idea that Walid Husayin – the 26-year-old son of a Muslim scholar – was leading a double life.

Now, Husayin faces a potential life prison sentence on heresy charges for “insulting the divine essence.” Many in this conservative Muslim town say he should be killed for renouncing Islam, and even family members say he should remain behind bars for life.

“He should be burned to death,” said Abdul-Latif Dahoud, a 35-year-old Qalqilya resident. The execution should take place in public “to be an example to others,” he added.

[…]His Facebook groups elicited hundreds of angry comments, detailed death threats and the formation of more than a dozen Facebook groups against him, including once called “Fight the blasphemer who said ‘I am God.'”

Husayin is the first to be arrested in the West Bank for his religious views, said Tayseer Tamimi, the former chief Islamic judge in the area.

The Western-backed Palestinian Authority is among the more religiously liberal Arab governments in the region. It is dominated by secular elites and has frequently cracked down on hardline Muslims and activists connected to its conservative Islamic rival, Hamas.

Caught by café owner

Husayin used a fake name on his English and Arabic-language blogs and Facebook pages. After his mother discovered articles on atheism on his computer, she canceled his Internet connection in hopes that he would change his mind.

Instead, he began going to an Internet cafe – a move that turned out to be a costly mistake. The owner, Ahmed Abu-Asal, said the blogger aroused suspicion by spending up to seven hours a day in a corner booth. After several months, a cafe worker supplied captured snapshots of his Facebook pages to Palestinian intelligence officials.

Officials monitored him for several weeks and then arrested him on October 31 as he sat in the cafe, said Abu-Asal.

Husayin’s family has been devastated by the arrest. On a recent day, his father stood sadly in the family barber shop, cluttered with colorful towels and posters of men in outdated haircuts. He requested that a reporter not write about his son to avoid being publicly shamed.

Two cousins attributed the writings to depression, saying Husayin was desperate to find better work. Requesting anonymity because of the shame the incident, they said Husayin’s mother wants him to remain in prison for life – both to restore the family’s honor and to protect him from vigilantes.

Hamas ‘stalks’ Facebook pages

Gaza’s Hamas rulers stalk Facebook pages of suspected dissenters, said Palestinian rights activist Mustafa Ibrahim. He said Internet cafe owners are forced to monitor customers’ online activity, and alert intelligence officials if they see anything critical of the militant group or that violates Hamas’ stern interpretation of Islam.

Both governments also create fake Facebook profiles to befriend and monitor known dissidents, activists said. Such “stalking” on Facebook and other social media sites has become increasingly common in the Arab world. In Lebanon, four people were arrested over the summer and accused of slandering President Michel Suleiman on Facebook. All have been released on bail.

In neighboring Syria, Facebook is blocked altogether. And in Egypt, a blogger was charged with atheism in 2007 after intelligence officials monitored his posts.

He could face a life sentence if he’s found guilty, depending on how harshly the judge thinks he attacked Islam and how widely his views were broadcast, said Islamic scholar Tamimi.

Even so, a small minority has questioned whether the government went too far.

Zainab Rashid, a liberal Palestinian commentator, wrote in an online opinion piece that Husayin has made an important point: “that criticizing religious texts for their (intellectual) weakness can only be combatted by … oppression, prison and execution.”

He sounds like our “liberals.”

Somebody wrote the following comment on Atlas Shrugs and it is worth repeating, because it makes the same point that we hold, that these groups around galloway are basically heavily editing the news, in other words they are building up a narrative that is based on lies, and even more on ignorance, that is ignoring issues and facts which would militate against their ideology, which itself is false, becoming deeper and deeper mired in falsity:

THE IRISH EXAMINER IGNORES THE FRENCH CAVING IN TO ISLAMIC THREATS…WHY?

Have a look at this report by the viciously anti-Israel Irish Examiner. The issue involved is the Bin Laden Al Qaida attack on France using very threatening language. The issue here is how the French responded to the Bin Laden verbal attack or warning. In reality the French Government fears attacks coming from Islamist terrorists, and this fear has made them issue a statement that they are withdrawing from Afghanistan.

The way that the Irish Examiner deal with this is most interesting:

In an audio recording aired by Al-Jazeera television, Bin Laden said last month’s kidnapping of seven foreigners, five of them French, in the Sahara desert in northern Niger was a warning.

Bin Laden, in the message directed to the French people, said he wanted to set out “the reasons for threatening your security and taking your people as prisoners”.

“How could you take part in occupying our countries and support the Americans in killing our children and women, and then expect to live in peace and security?” he asked.

“It is very simple: as you kill, you will be killed; as you take hostages, you will be taken hostages; and as you compromise our security, we will compromise your security,” he said in the message, the authenticity of which could not immediately be verified.

The al-Qaida leader warned the French government to pull its troops out of Afghanistan.

“The way to protect your security is to bring your tyranny against our nation to an end, most importantly to withdraw from the damned war of (former US president George W) Bush in Afghanistan,” he said in the message, which lasted 1 minute 55 seconds.

The seven hostages — five French nationals, a Togolese and a Madagascan — were seized in a Niger uranium-mining town on the night of September 15 to September 16.

On September 30, Al-Qaida’s North African branch posted a photograph and audio recordings of the seven hostages, most working for the French nuclear group Areva and its subcontractors.

The French government has indicated it is willing to talk to the kidnappers, but has received no contact from the group.

Of course this is still early times. But the Irish Examiner has so far not told Irish readers that the French have responded to the Bin Laden threat by talking about pulling out the troops from Afghanistan in 2011.

 

Then leave Afghanistan to the Fascist Islamist butchers seems to be the idea.

 

If ever there was craven cowardice in world affairs it is being shown by the French Government of Sarkozy. Talk about Vichy!

 

But so far the Irish Examiner has l.eft this out. This is most strange.

 

It is not a secret. Yahoo News has this report in which it states.

 

 

Bin Laden’s message connected the kidnap to France’s deployment of troops to Afghanistan and ban on the Islamic full face veil.

“How could you take part in occupying our countries and support the Americans in killing our children and women, and then expect to live in peace and security?” Bin Laden demanded.

“It is very simple: As you kill, you will be killed, as you take hostages, you will be taken hostage, and as you compromise our security, we will compromise your security,” he said, in the two-minute message.

Defence Minister Herve Morin told RTL radio France could begin withdrawing troops from Afghanistan as early as next year, but insisted this was in no way connected to any the threat posed Al Qaeda.

“In any case, that’s the calendar set by Barack Obama, that in 2011 the first American troops could quit Afghanistan,” he said. “And that’s what a certain number of European countries have started to say.”

Two French journalists have been held hostage by suspected insurgents in Afghanistan for more than 300 days, but Bin Laden did not refer to them.

Morin insisted France’s decision to begin looking towards the exit from Afghanistan next year had “absolutely no link” to any threat

That must be one of the most bizarre statements ever made. It has no link yet the French talk about pulling out on the day after Bin Laden threatens them. The link to the Bin Laden threat seems obvious.

But the Irish Examiner has not as  we write got to that bit about how the French cave in and pull out of Afghanistan and I wonder why?

Why on earth are they not covering that, since it has got great similarity to what Zapatero in Spain and his atrocious and opportunist PSOE did against Aznar after the Madrid bombings.

And it raises the issue, are these european Governments vaving in to terrorism from Islam, as bat yeor has always claimed.

I do not know but maybe als they (The Irish Examiner) are part or are sympathetic to the Irish Troops Out movement etc.

I will have to investigate further to find out their true position towards Islamic terror.

TO IRISH EXAMINER…1948 AND 1967 WERE DEFENSIVE WARS FOUGHT BY THE JEWS..GOT THAT!

The viciously anti-Israel “Irish Examiner.com” has printed the following in its article of today:

The Palestinians are ready to end all historic claims against Israel once they establish their state in the lands occupied in the 1967 Six-Day War, President Mahmoud Abbas said.

The above quote from the Irish Examiner is extremely misleading.

 

What we have in this case, as expressed above, is the complete re-writing of history. This is a lying narrative which was put about by the Arab propaganda machine after 1967, and which has been adopted by the world in general.

 

Why should the world take on board as true a narrative which tells lies about history? I can only locate this tendency to accept this lying narrative in a residual antisemitism which bubbles under the surface, during centuries of time, but which bursts out with poisonous venom at particular points.

 

We know that such a point was the Holocaust, or as Jews tend to say, The Shoah.

 

But another point was the 1960s, when the Soviet Union Stalinists attacked Israel as a Zionist, therefore Nazi, State.

 

In other words Zionism, which is the sincere feeling of Jews to return to Zion, their religious and national Homeland, was being equated with Nazism, by the horrible Soviet Stalinists (I should say Russian, because they should not be given the title of “Soviet”, which is a proud title in our books.

 

In any case the world adopted this Big Lie in different ways.

 

One of these ways is reflected in the above paragraph I have quoted by the Irish Examiner.

Not that this may be unconscious on their part. In other words the lying narrative of the Stalinists and the Arabs is so ingrained in Irish Media Circles, that they know not of what they write.

Let me return to the above paragraph:

 

The Irish Examiner use the word “Palestinians”.

 

They did not exist in 1948. Up to 1948 if you said you were a Palestinian then people would take you for a Jew, a palestinian Jew.

 

Up to 1948 the Arabs disliked the term “Palestinian” and called themselves simply “Arabs”.

From 1948 to 1967 when Jordan controlled Judea and Samaria, and Egypt Gaza, THEY CERTAINLY DID NOT USE THE TERM “PALESTINIANS”.

 

Nor was there the merest tiniest suggestion then of creating a “Palestinian State” which would have been the ideal time, when fellow Arabs were in total control.

 

Amazing thought that, eh!

 

The Arabs attacked the Jews in 1948, not accepting the UN plans for 2 states.

The Arabs lost in 1948 and there was a ceasefire arrangement.

In 1967 the Arabs attacked the Jews again, but this time they were attacking Israel itself, and they were attacking from those very territories of Judea and Samaria, and Gaza.

 

They lost again.

 

I repeat to the Irish Examiner. THEY LOST!

 

The Arabs lost in a war in which THEY WERE THE AGRESSOR.

 

The Arabs, and the anti Israel Irish Examiner, want to have their cake and eat it. They want to strike out in a genocidal war against Jews and then after they are defeated in that war they expect things to go back to where things were BEFORE THEY ATTACKED

 

To me this is the strangest thinking…That there is never any effect following a cause.

 

This is also the reason why we on 4international will always deny the validity of the word “occupation” because how is it an “occupation” to repulse your genocidal attackers. Just as brian Boru did in Clontarf outside Dublin you take the land on which your enemy is standing, and you deny your enemy the opportunity, or wish, to attack again from that land.

 

And this was Jewish land in every sense of the term anyway, through the Treaty of San Remo 1920, where this land of Judea and Samaria was set aside for the Jewish Homeland.

 

The Irish Examiner has another paragraph:

The Palestinians want to establish a state in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem, captured by Israel in 1967. Israel has withdrawn from Gaza, but about half a million Israelis have settled in the other war-won areas.

You can see the utterly snivelling dishonesty of the Irish Examiner in the above. The impression is given to me as a reader that the Jews attacked and captured Judea and Samaria, plus Gaza. But they did not attack anything or anybody. It is they who were attacked.

 

The Jews were only defending in 1948 and 1967.

 

By reading the Irish Examiner you would never know, or think that.

This is really terrible journalism. Journalism of a very low level. There is a serious distortion of history taking place here.

 

Now if this is happening in this very central journalistic outlet in Ireland, how can the Irish people think in true terms about what happened in this vital history?

 

Or perhaps the Irish Examiner is really saying that History Does not Matter. That all that matters is “The Occupation”, even though this word is a distortion of history
