The so-called “P5 +1” interim agreement with Iran was announced on November 24, 2013, amidst great fanfare, and giddy expectations of continued diplomatic success. Ostensibly, these negotiations were going to eliminate Iran’s ability to produce nuclear weapons, and constrain the regime’s hegemonic aspirations, including its oft-repeated bellicose threats to destroy the Jewish State of Israel.   Less than three months later, punctuated by cries of “down with the U.S.”-and “Death to Israel”-Iranians took to the streets en masse, February 11, 2014, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic putsch, which firmly re-established Iran’s legacy of centuries of Shiite theocracy, transiently interrupted by the 54-year reign (r. 1925-1979) of the 20th century Pahlavi Shahs.   Many alarming developments since the P5 +1 deal was announced epitomize the abject failure of a delusive and dangerous policymaking mindset I have dubbed, “The ‘Trusting Khomeini’ Syndrome,” in my new book Iran’s Final Solution For Israel. This “Syndrome” is named after infamous Princeton International Law Professor Richard Falk’s February 16, 1979 essay, “Trusting Khomeini,” dutifully published in the The New York Times. The parlous denial-born of willful doctrinal and historical negationism-evident in Falk’s February, 1979 essay, now shapes formal U.S. policy toward Iran, merely updated as “Trusting Khamenei,” Iran’s current “Supreme Leader,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who succeeded Ayatollah Khomeini. I further maintain that the sine qua non of this crippling mindset-bowdlerization of Islam-currently dominates policymaking circles, running the gamut from Left to Right. To understand the profound dangers of policies toward the self-proclaimed Islamic Republic of Iran which remain willfully blind to Islam, I will address the following questions:   What is the Sharia? What are the uniquely Islamic institutions of jihad, and its corollary institution, dhimm­itude, and how do these institutions relate to the Sharia? What are the similarities and differences comparing Sunni (the [vast] majority sect of Islam) and Shiite (Shi’ism being Islam’s largest minority sect) doctrine on jihad and dhimm­itude? What is the Shiite doctrine of najis? What are the major antisemitic motifs in Islam’s canonical texts-the Koran itself (i.e., as glossed in the major Koranic commentaries, classical and modern), as well as the “Traditions” of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad, and the nascent Muslim community? What are the similarities and differences comparing Sunni and Shiite eschatology-end of times theology-and how central are the Jews to this doctrine (i.e., what is their described role, and fate?), from the Sunni and Shiite perspectives? How were these doctrines applied in Iran, and what was their effect upon the Jews of Iran, between the 16th, and early 20th centuries? Are these living doctrines, espoused and presently applied in contemporary Iran? For example, has the Sharia been applied in Iran since 1979 (especially vis-à-vis non-Muslims), and what is its current popularity in the Islamic Republic (as measured objectively, not anecdotally)? Most importantly, how is Iran’s historical application of these doctrines, in aggregate, to its Jewish minority population, relevant-and manifest-in the contemporary Islamic Republic’s posture toward Israel, and the U.S.?

AHMADINEJAD SAYS IRAN IS NOW NUCLEAR AND HE SEEKS AN ALLIANCE WITH OBAMA/HAGEL

SPEAKING AT THE OIC YESTERDAY AHMADINEJAD SHOWS TO ALL JEWS, ESPECIALLY JEWS IN ISRAEL, AND TO ALL FREEDOM LOVERS, JUST HOW DANGEROUS IS THIS Islamist IRAN. THE ANTISEMITIC LEFTISTS ARE SILENT AS THEY SUPPORT A NUCLEAR IRAN AND THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL, THE ALTERNATIVE IS TO BUILD 4INTERNATIONAL.

The claims were made by Ahmadinejad at the centre of the Jihad operation which is the OIC. Ahmadinejad KNOWS he is in an alliance with Obama,the Democratic Party and a good section of the Republicans as well, all of Europe (EVERY European Government) and backed up by the Antisemitic Left (Which includes all Labour Parties of Europe (an example being PSOE in Spain) and including Leftist Jewish Liars living in Israel such as Jeff Halpin.

This is a REAL alliance and it is directed against Jews and Israel.

The centre of this alliance are the constant calls for a Palestinian Arab state which will be the focus of armed attack on Israel. Ask who led the Palestinian Arabs from 1920 to 1950 aprox. and the answer is Hajj Amin el Husseini who with Hitler masterminded The Holocaust, and then the plan for the continuation of the Holocust was carried on by the close relative of Husseini (they share the same name) Yasser Arafat. Abbas ALSO is a Holocaust Denier. Hamas has in its Charter completely Nazi Genocidal calls for death to all Jews.

The centre of this alliance with Ahmadinejad are lies and the lies were showed clearly yesterday when the Minister in charge of “Justice” in Spain Gallardon said that Jews who could prove they were related to the Jews expelled by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492 could become citizens (of Spain). What a joke! What an insult! So Spain leads Europe in the Alliance with Ahmadinejad and yet insults Jews in this way. Are the Spanish playing this practical joke on Jews deliberately and consciously?

Also pay attention to Ahmadinejad’s reference to Assad and Syria. As we always warned as part of this alliance with Obama Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs will ditch Assad, the Alawites and Christians who support Assad.

Ahmadinejad is currently in Cairo at the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) summit with Hamas-CAIR’s Nihad Awad and the heads of 56 Muslim states and the Palestinian terror org.

Ahead of his historic visit to Cairo (February 5-6, 2013) to attend an Organization of the Islamic Conference summit, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave an interview to ‘Abd Al-Nasser Salama, editor of the Egyptian daily Al-Ahram. In the interview, which was conducted in Tehran, Ahmadinejad reiterated the positions of the Iranian regime on various issues, and stressed that Iran had become a nuclear state despite Western pressures aimed at stopping it from doing so. He also spoke about Iran-Egypt relations, saying that they were gradually developing. He stressed that cooperation between the two countries could be expanded in many areas, and that rapprochement between them would lead to a solution to the Palestinian problem and to other complex problems in the region. He emphasized that Iran had no intention of attacking “the Zionist entity,” and clarified that his country had high defense capabilities.

On the subject of Syria, Ahmadinejad said that he was very sorry about what was happening there, and expressed his opposition to foreign intervention. He said that the best solution for Syria would not be the establishment of a sectarian government, but rather a solution based on mutual understanding among the Syrian people. He called on all countries in the region to unite into an economic and political power in the international arena, and noted that within a few years, the balance of power in the world would shift and the U.S. would lose its hegemonic status and concentrate on its domestic affairs.

The preliminary phase of Iran’s first reactor, built with Russian help at the southern town of Bushehr, was marked by a ceremony Wednesday, Feb. 25. Our sources report that Iranian nuclear teams will first activate the 1,000-MW reactor’s sections in sequence with the help of advanced Russian computers flown in to monitor their progress. The head of Iran’s nuclear commission, Gholamreza Aghazadeh, and the head of Russia’s state Rosatom Atomic Corporation, Sergey Kiriyenko will be on hand.

Iranian and Western nuclear experts say this stage is a vital step forward to making the Bushehr reactor operational. Barring hitches, it will be ready for full operation by August 2009.

The announcement by the Iranian News Agency took Washington and Jerusalem by off-balance. Moscow has continually delayed meeting the deadlines in its $1 billion contract for completing the project. It was hoped that the reactor would never be finished – at least until the US and Russian presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev met for the first time on April 2, at the G-20 summit.

However, the Moscow and Tehran have clearly got together for moves ahead of that meeting: Bringing Iran’s first nuclear reactor to preliminary operation and a contract for selling Iran advanced Russian S-300 air defense missile systems. Israeli officials point to Russian press reports maintaining that Moscow will not execute this contract. However that is not what the Iranian defense minister Gen. Mostafa Najar heard during his visit to the Russian capital last week. Our Moscow sources disclose that he was assured that the S-300 missile sale would be separated from the Moscow-Washington controversy over the deployment of US missile interceptors and radar in East. Europe and delivered by the end of the year.

The Iranian defense minister said Sunday, Feb. 21: “Russian officials are well aware that Moscow, rather than Iran is the target of Washington’s missile plans.” Just back from Moscow, Najar remarked: “The United States, mired in an all-out financial meltdown, will eventually avoid the unnecessary cost of a missile project” – a view he apparently picked up from his Russian hosts.

DEBKAfile‘s military sources reported earlier that that defense minister Najar and his Russian counterpart Anatoly Serdyukov made good progress in their talks on the sale of advanced S-300 ground-to-air missiles to Iran. Both sides agreed it was essential to provide Iran’s Bushehr reactor with an effective system against air and missile attack.

Western military sources say the Moscow talks are refining a formula to enable Iran to deploy the S-300 batteries guarding Bushehr at its other nuclear sites as well.

In the above it seems that the role of the US Government of Bush and now Obama in driving for war against Russia, China and India, is at the centre of world power politics.

It is this which is driving Russia and possibly China to line up with the Fascists of Iran. This is not to excuse Russia no more than Trotsky was prepared to excuse Stalin in 1939 in joining with the Nazi regime.

It helps to understand the role of the US though as the main driver for war in the world, and the way the US drives Israel into great danger
