Niger is very important and is very instructional. There is 95 per cent Muslim population, 5 per cent other mainly Christian.

This is how I read it correct me if wrong. The 95 per cent Muslim are rooted in the Koran. This may be a passive rootedness not unlike the prejudices that surrounded Christians, with reference to Judas being the traitor and the Jews who killed the “saviour”, a prejudice that can lie underneath for a long time, but at times become critical.

There is along with that 95 per cent the profesional inflamers of these underlying prejudices. That is happening in scores of different countries as we speak. Niger has a very long border with the critical Nigeria, the largest African country population wise, a country much divided on itself which never really got over the Biafran Civil War tending to drive towards pacifism in its aftermath. As an aside this happens a lot and Ireland is an example where the dead alley of the Irish Civil War post-1921 “Independence” encouraged revisionist thinking about the concept of independence itself. This weakening of nation is fertile ground for Islam Jihad. So in Nigeria there is a large army but the army is almost pacifist in spirit, thinking and tactics. This may be a part explanation but at least helps to understand how Nigerian army conscripts lay down their arms and flee in the face of the Islamic State savages, whereas the Kurd fighters including their women stand and fight the savage enemy of the Jihad.

In all of these countries like Niger there is a very unstable political situation to start with. Then along with that there is the promotion of Jihad and of Islam by Obama, by the Democrats, by parts of the republican side like McCain, and there is promotion of Jihad on a broad canvas by ALL European Governments, the centre of which focus is the lethal poison of Antisemitic “Palestinianism” (and here I have to honour the memory of Joan Peters who died recently)

Four people were killed and 45 injured in a day of violent protests in Niger’s second city against French magazine Charlie Hebdo’s publication of a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed.

Massaoudou Hassoumi, the interior minister, said a policeman and three civilians died in Friday’s disturbances in Zinder in which three churches were ransacked and the French cultural centre was burned down.

Thousands of protesters gathered outside mosques after Friday prayers to vent anger at the depiction of the prophet, which is considered taboo to most Muslims.

Twenty-two members of the security forces and 23 protesters were hurt in the ensuing clashes, national radio reported, as one Catholic and two Protestant churches were attacked.

A doctor in the city’s hospital told AFP that all of the dead and three of the injured had gunshot wounds….

I believe this would be a perfect time for Robert Spencer to have pointed out that Charlie Hebdo was/is put together by a bunch of atheist who hate Christianity more so than Islam, but da Mob burned down 2 Protestant and a Catholic Church even after the Pope groveled in front of them.

  Good point. What’s more, the 4 people murdered at the Jewish kosher supermarket in Paris had nothing to do with the Charlie-Hebdo cartoons, either.

  I’ve seen various Charlie-Hebdo cartoons, and they are arguably just as offensive to Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism as they are to Islam.

MOSCOW — Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant has received weapons shipments from the former East Bloc.

Diplomatic sources said ISIL has been ordering anti-tank weapons, rockets, mortars, body armor and communications through fronts in Europe. They said the weapons and equipment were being procured from such former Soviet allies as Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Ukraine.

“ISIL has used both U.S. weapons captured in Iraq, but mostly material supplied from the former East Bloc that was ordered more than a year ago,” a diplomat said, according to a report by Middle East Newsline.

On Aug. 12, a diplomatic source said the flow of ISIL weapons was aided by NATO, particularly Turkey. The source said NATO intelligence services were facilitating payment and arms shipments to and from Europe under the guise of humanitarian supplies to Syria.

“Western security services were responsible for choosing reliable arms suppliers from Western European countries for money transfers and transportation and delivery of deadly ‘humanitarian’ supplies to the Middle East,” the diplomatic source said.

The source told Russia’s state-owned RIA-Novosti news agency that ISIL began ordering weapons and military equipment in early 2013. The unidentified source said Croatia was supplying armored personnel carriers and rocket launchers while Romania was selling main battle tanks and Ukraine infantry fighting vehicles. He said Bulgaria was supplying munitions.

“The supplies were conducted starting in 2013, by firms that were created specifically for one or two deals,” RIA said. “The contracts for the deals had other countries and companies indicated as the final destination for the supplies.”

The sources said Turkey and the former Yugoslavia were playing a key role in arming ISIL. They said ISIL was aided by recruitment in Bosnia, Bulgaria and Kosovo for the wars in Iraq and Syria.

On Aug. 11, Kosovo arrested at least 40 suspected ISIL agents. Kosovo police also reported the seizure of ammunition and explosives in a raid of 60 targets across the former province of Yugoslavia. At least 200 Muslims from Kosovo were believed to have joined ISIL and Nusra Front for the Defense of Levant.

“Kosovo will not be a safe haven for extremism,” Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga said.

ISIL establishing cells in Baghdad, aided by ex-Saddam security forces

LONDON — Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant has established an operational presence on the outskirts of Iraq’s capital.

Security sources said ISIL has been quietly moving cells near Shi’ite neighborhoods of Baghdad. They said ISIL suicide bombers were directed to conduct mass-casualty attacks on mosques, schools and markets in an attempt to spark a Shi’ite flight.

“They are secretly moving terrorist squads near Shi’ite areas so they can sustain a bombing campaign in much of Baghdad,” a source said.

The sources said ISIL was aided by former members of the ousted Saddam Hussein regime, including military and security officers. They said the ex-officers were helping ISIL transport fighters and explosives through Baghdad’s sewers and tunnels, many of them built more than 20 years ago as escape routes by Saddam aides.

“These tunnels start in the Anbar province and connect to Baghdad, so you don’t know where they [ISIL] are or how close they are to their target,” the source said. “They could never have achieved this without the help of the Saddam people.”

The sources said ISIL has been detected on the outskirts of both the northern and southern part of Baghdad. They expressed concern over mass-casualty strikes from so-called tunnel bombs underneath Shi’ite
neighborhoods. A key target was identified as Sadr City, home to Iranian-sponsored Shi’ite militias, including Mahdi Army.

A major stronghold of ISIL was identified as Jurf Al Sakhar, located in the Euphrates Valley where Sunni and Shi’ite communities meet. The sources said ISIL, with at least 500 fighters in Jurf, was believed to be using a network of tunnels and canals covered by rich vegetation.

In response, Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki has ordered the destruction of thousands of acres of farmland to help uncover the ISIL tunnel network.

The sources said the Iraqi military has been carpet-bombing the Euphrates Valley and intensifying helicopter surveillance missions.
Shi’ites around Baghdad have expressed concern over ISIL warnings of massacres. ISIL leaflets that vow beheadings have appeared in Shi’ite towns and hundreds already fled their homes.

ISIL has also recruited Sunni tribes to advance toward Baghdad. The sources said the tribes in the Anbar province were being paid to help overthrow the Shi’ite-led government, accused of discriminating against Sunnis over the last decade.

“ISIL is buying the services of thousands of tribal fighters, many of them waiting to massacre Shi’ites,” another source said.

Debka is correct. El Sisi and the Saudis hate Obama and there is a major Split on now in the world between them along with Israel and with US and British Imperialism.

 

The Split is open and cannot be denied. It is based on real, real events. I drop the class issue and I relate this to Israeli tactics. the interests of Israel and El Sisi can at the same time intersect. They can be on the same side against Obama and ISIL promoted as we see by NATO.

Obviously, this cannot be achieved overnight.

Not unlike Israeli foreign policy that over the years has raised international awareness of the Iranian nuclear threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and others in the government should be spearheading a campaign to garner support for and involvement in the demilitarization of Gaza. There will be no quiet until it is demilitarized. The flare-ups of Gazan attacks every several months will continue. As soon as Hamas is forced to give up its arms, peace will reign, because Hamas aggression is the source of the conflict.”

 

Kadima leader Shaul Mofaz is a traitor for putting forward such rubbish in a  time of war and the Post is worse for editorialising it.

 

To prove my point I quote from the above:

1. Who is this wonderful “International Community”…They are all pacifist enablers of Jihad snowed under like Britain, Germany, France and Canada from problems with their own Jihad?

2. It strips Israel of its Independence and Jewish hard won (through the Nazi Holocaust) experience that Israel must put its trust in nobody but its own armed forces and weaponry

 

This incident and this Editorial from such a leading Media organ shows how far the rot has gone inside Israeli politics and it shows that a new leadership must be built to lead the Jews to victory.

 

Jews should instead welcome all of this international pressure for a truce and tell them that it is OUR job, that is what national Independence meansm and WE will destroy Hamas and Fatah.

 

That is as bad as the world in 1920 advising Michael Collins and the Irish to place their trust in the Black and Tans, and rather than rooting the Black and Tans out of their country, to give the Black and Tans the province of Connaught to wage war on the Irish.

 

Just cannot happen.

 

It is totally not realistic. The Jews have to defend the Jews.
