This is the historical day of the commemoration of Kristallnacht. It is truly historical. After 75 years we have reached this day (and night)

This was a terrible day for Jewish people, the start of the Holocaust.
Trotsky predicted clearly this event, this Holocaust. And in his writings especially against Fascism he provided a way forward and he provided the way that the Holocaust could be avoided.
4international is commemorating the Kristallnacht because we are rooted in the present and we are determined that through correct leadership a Holocaust of the Jews will not be repeated.
4international has thus in that spirit been hosting a series of articles, one on every day of this week. Today it is 75 years since that horrible day when the Nazis turned on the Jews of Germany, burned their synagogues, murdered and imprisoned in the camps. This led to the gassing of the Jews in the Holocaust.
The following is a short paragraph from Wikipedia on Kristallnacht:
“At least 91 Jews were killed in the attacks, and 30,000 were arrested and incarcerated in concentration camps.[2] Jewish homes, hospitals, and schools were ransacked, as the attackers demolished buildings with sledgehammers.[3] Over 1,000 synagogues were burned (95 in Vienna alone) and over 7,000 Jewish businesses destroyed or damaged.[4][5] Martin Gilbert writes that no event in the history of German Jews between 1933 and 1945 was so widely reported as it was happening, and the accounts from the foreign journalists working in Germany sent shock waves around the world.[3] The Times wrote at the time: “No foreign propagandist bent upon blackening Germany before the world could outdo the tale of burnings and beatings, of blackguardly assaults on defenceless and innocent people, which disgraced that country yesterday.”[6]

The reality of the Holocaust for 4international is that Hitler could have been stopped in 1933. The German working class had many millions organised in trade unions, but the Stalinist Comintern, the Social Democratic leaders, and the trade union leaders basically betrayed their workers. The first to be arrested by Hitler in 1933 were not actually Jews but those very leaders of the trade unions who had refused to fight. Fascism shows no mercy. THEN followed the Jews. We INSIST on seeing it in that way, in that order.

When we see something in front of our eyes we believe it. We trust in our senses just as much as our hominid ancestors believed their eyes and indeed all 5 senses.
We do not believe in or ever see the need for a sixth sense.
We see in front of us today a World Antisemitism that is the equal of the Antisemitism of the Nazis…WITH THIS EXCEPTION…Like Goldhagen we see it as worse because it is more global.

A stupid person called Yamit82 who calls himself Jewish asked why we should be concerned about Jews. Answer…we are concerned about Antisemitism and we are concerned because we are Trotskyists. The question was hostile. There ARE traitors inside the Jews too.
We are opposed to people who hate Jews, hate Israel as the Jewish Homeland and also who hate Trotsky and Trotskyism.
Could we be more clear on this Kristallnacht75!
We are not talking either in an academic manner. We are building an organization…building a party…building a Trotskyist Party.
We have decided…the best way to commemorate Kristallnacht75 is to continue our work on Kristallnacht into the future days and years.
In coming weeks we will be exposing sharply the politics of Israel haters like George Galloway and Jenny Tonge.
We are in solidarity with Jewish writers like Goldhagen who wrote the important book referring to Antisemitism “The Devil that Never Dies”. All of our members will study that book. But Goldhagen is deficient and does not offer any solution. We will. That is the difference.
Our central task is to build the party that will defend Israel in this critical period.
Do not ever dare to ask any of our members why we do this. The answer is we do because we are Trotskyist.
