(last night no way into the Plaza for the Spanish youth)
The crisis in Spain builds up.
Spain is a very historical country. I believe that 2 things overhang Spain. No 1 the Expulsion of the Jews in 1492 which followed the defeat of the Moors (Islam) in many wars previous. This expulsion (the Jewish) hangs over Spain to this day and 2. The Spanish Civil War, more recent, therefore less submerged, bubbling under the surface of all of Spanish life
So where are the Spanish youth heading? it has been clear from day one that the Indignadoes have the wierdest leaders, a mix of hippies, stalinists, anarchists.
But the objective forces underneath are the bankruptcy of world and European capitalism
Hence the Spanish State and Police (Franco alive today) takes them on as the picture above shows.
Police have cleared the Square and are blocking entrance
It is symbolic as well as real
