NEED FOR OPEN AND FAIR DISCUSSION TO FIGHT AGAINST ANTISEMITISM

The discussion on the very important Israpundit site has been hijacked by a clique surrounding a person calling himself Yamit82, also involved is a person calling himself Bernard Ross and there are others, all forming an obvious clique.

 

This is indeed sad because there is need for open and fair discussion at this time.

 

The editor Ted Belman is clearly not in agreement with this clique. Belman performs a very useful service by airing a wide range of topics on Israpundit but discussion has now become arguably impossible.

I wanted to send all our support to Ted Belman and Israpundit. We have the same aim which is for Jews to be able to live unmolested by Antisemitism.

 

One of the strange themes that this clique on Israpundit developed in recent years (which was pushed especially by Robinson) was that the Arab Spring and all the in-fighting among Arabs actually, he said, strengthened Israel.

 

Robinson kept on at this week after week.

 

This also led to a strengthening of the Yamit82 person who called for Israel to take up no position on Egypt, that is not to defend Mubarak, leading on to not supporting General el-Sisi in his present suppression of the Muslim Brotherhood.

 

We on 4international thought all of this most strange. Why should Israel not state openly its open and bold support for the suppression of the Muslim Brotherhood, and do so from a position of INDEPENDENCE!

 

How could Israel being encircled by Fascist Muslim Brotherhood states not weaken Israel, endanger Israel!

 

In fact read any article on Jihadwatch or on Pamela Geller´s Atlas Shrugs and you will see the opposite to Robinson…they are most worried for Israel.

According to our information, the regime’s opponents, supervised by Jordanian, Israeli and American commandos, have been moving towards Damascus since mid-August. This attack could explain the possible recourse to chemical weapons by the Syrian president.

If it is still too early to categorically rule out the argument put forward by Damascus and Moscow, who blame the massacre on the Syrian opposition, it is already possible to provide answers to a troubling question: What benefit would Assad have realized by launching an unconventional attack at the precise moment he had to allow UN inspectors — after being held up for several months — to investigate the use of chemical weapons?

First of all, operational logic. According to information obtained by Le Figaro, the first contingent of Syrian troops trained in guerrilla warfare by the Americans in Jordan have reportedly been sent into action since mid-August in southern Syria, in the region of Deraa. A first group of 300 men, undoubtedly supported by Israeli and Jordanian commandos, as well as by CIA operatives, crossed the border on August 17. A second was to have joined on the 19th. According to military sources, for several months the Americans, who do not want to put troops on the Syrian soil, nor arm any rebels controlled in part by radical Islamists, quietly assembled handpicked ASL fighters, the Free Syrian Army, in a training camp set up at the Jordanian-Syrian border.

Sense of impunity

During the summer their protégés have begun to push against Syrian battalions in the south, approaching the capital. “Their impact would now be felt in the Ghouta, where formations of the FSA were already at work, but really can make a difference on the outskirts of the fortifications of Damascus,” says David Rigoulet-Roze, a researcher at the French Institute for Strategic Analysis (IFAS).

According to this expert on the region, the idea proposed by Washington would be the possible establishment of a buffer zone separating the south of Syria, or even a no-fly zone, which would permit the opposition to train in complete security until the balance of power changes. This is the reason why the United States deployed Patriot batteries and F16s in Jordan in late June.

Recent military pressure exerted against al-Ghouta threatens the capital Damascus, the heart of the Syrian regime. In July the spokesman for President al-Assad publicly stated that the regime would not use chemical weapons in Syria “except in case of external aggression.” The intrusion of foreign agents into the south, for example…

 

This is combined with many articles in www.debka.com which are asserting that Assad used chemical weapons. Debka has become a website of liars which publishes articles which are based on information which it does not ever source

 

It is also combined with an article which appears on www.Israpundit.com which has a Daniel Greenfield saying that “THERE IS NO DOUBT” that Assad used chemical weapons etc.

 

But Greenfield like Debka does not give any of his sources. The use of the words “there is no doubt” is an old and discredited journalist technique. If there is no doubt then Greenfield will have done his due research and will be happy to publish the proof with his sources named.

 

If Israel is involved in any way with the troops invading Syria then those Israeli troops will be under the direction of the CIA. That is American Imperialism CIA. That is American Imperialism CIA that hates Jews and hates Israel and seeks to place in power the Fatah branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

 

Jews now like Ted Belman who edits Israpundit are faced with a moment of truth. Will they take up a position, the only correct for Jews position, of defending Assad from the combination of the Muslim Brotherhood (like Morsi and Erdogan) and the forces of British, French and US Imperialism?

 

Or will he do the opposite, that is line up WITH the Muslim Brotherhood against Assad?

The US are clearly along with the British and others interfering with the sovereigny of another country. The issue of Iran and Hizbullah are totally separate issues, in this case, where the US Imperialists, Establishment, (choose your term) are gearing up for war, urged on by the deepening gloom in the world capitalist crisis

These issues of Libya, Egypt and now Syria have taught to all of us who love Israel and who defend the Jews that the present leadership connected with the Jews, on a broad scale, are incapable of leading in a principled fashion in this period of growing Fascism, no more than Judaic leaders could defend the Jews against the Fascism of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco.

The first task in all of these situations is for Israel to issue a statement saying, and repeating this a thousand times, that it respects the sovereignty of every other country, and since Syria is in the eye of the storm, Israel and Jews must respet the sovereignty of Syria.

On a matter of principle Israela nd Israelis must oppose the interventions of the US in Syria, interventions aimed at overthrowing Assad.

Now also Assad happens to be a secular leaning leader.

This is as everybody knows why the Syrian Christians are part of the large section of the population of Syria which has continued to defend Assad.

This feeling for the secular stands in total conflict with the feeling for Sharia. Sharia is Fascism, a modern form of Fascism, because it is being integrated into the Fascism of the US Governments, and of the EU Governments, and the EU Bureaucracy as a whole.

It beggars belief that any Jew living today, or any Israeli, or Israel supporter, would not defend Assad IN THESE CONDITIONS.

Does this make Israel a friend of Assad or vice versa? Anybody who thinks like this really need to go to political primary school.

Alliances are made and positions of political principle are taken in situations of concrete events. Leon Trotsky defended Haile Selassie against Mussolini and the Nazis. Did this make Trotsky a political defender of the despotism of Selassie?

Israel has had the means to destroy the plutonium enrichment of Iran years ago. It did not and allowed these Fascists to taunt Israel and Jews through its Holocaust Denial.

Britain and its NATO allies spent billions freeing Libyans from the evil clutches of Colonel Gaddafi, but what exactly has replaced him?

Democratic elections are still some way away, there’s serious unrest in several cities and today a United Nations report reveal that up to 8,000 pro-Gaddafi supporters were being held by militia groups in Libya.

Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay claimed they are being held in appalling conditions and are being abused and tortured.

While Amnesty International state that detainees have died after being tortured by militias in detention centres.

 

 

The organisation’s medical staff said they were were being asked to patch up detainees mid-way through torture sessions so they could go back for more abuse.

The agency said it was in Misrata, about 130 miles east of the Libyan capital and scene of some of the fiercest battles in the conflict, to treat war-wounded detainees but was instead having to treat fresh wounds.

Meantime, the UN’s Mrs Pillay said the problem was down to militias working outside of government control.

She added: ‘The lack of oversight by the central authorities creates an environment conducive to torture and ill treatment. My staff have received alarming reports that this is happening in places of detention that they have visited.’

 

Abuse claims: Ibrahim Mohammed says he was tortured at the hands of the Gharyan city forces earlier this month. His claims support assertions by the United Nations that torture and violence is widespread

General Director of MSF Christopher Stokes reinforced the UN assertions and said: ‘Patients were brought to us in the middle of interrogation for medical care, in order to make them fit for more interrogation.

‘This is unacceptable. Our role is to provide medical care to war casualties and sick detainees, not to repeatedly treat the same patients between torture sessions.

The agency said it has raised the issue with the authorities in Misrata and with the national army.

‘No action was taken,’ said Stokes. ‘We have therefore come to the decision to suspend our medical activities in the detention centres.’

Rights groups have repeatedly raised concerns about torture being used against people, many of them sub-Saharan Africans, suspected of having fought for Muammar Gaddafi’s forces during Libya’s nine-month civil war.

Reports of the mistreatment and disappearances of suspected Gaddafi loyalists have embarrassed Libya’s ruling National Transitional Council (NTC), which had vowed to make a break with practices under Gaddafi and respect human rights.

They are installing a sharia government. Sharia is the opposite of humanity.

The allegations are also awkward for the Western powers which backed the anti-Gaddafi rebellion and helped install Libya’s new leaders.

But Gadhafi who also had been in alliance with Imperialism learned from the experience, and also he was a tougher kind of person, Mubarak being more of the conservative Nasserite army man, Gadhafi having dabbled with terror etc

 

So Gadhafi decided to fight against this infernal US Power alliance with Islam. And it is still not over but the lesson is clear, better to fight anyway, because the images of poor Mubarak being propped up on a gurney are indeed poignant, and he is a prisoner essenctially of Qaradawi and the Muslim Brotherhood

 

I have always, ALWAYS, found DEBKA to be consistent. Syria tanks enter Homs while fighting Palestinians in Latakia

Encouraged by the 15-day leeway granted him by the US President Barak Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Bashar Assad Monday, Aug. 15, sent his tanks backed by mechanized infantry into Homs, a town of 1.5 million inhabitants. Witnesses report heavy shelling and clouds of smoke. Homs is Syria’s third largest town and the biggest the Syrian military has assaulted in the course of the five-month uprising against the Assad regime.

While Obama and Edrogan presented the extra time they granted Assad as his last chance to implement reforms, the Syrian ruler is making use of it to crack down harder and grind the opposition to dust. After that, the Assads will reign supreme and there will be no one left to fight for reforms.

Sunday, Aug. 14, debkafile reported on Palestinian armed resistance to Syrian tank incursions in the coastal town of Latakia.

For the first time in the five-month anti-Assad uprising, Syrian forces clashed with dissident Palestinians Sunday, Aug. 14, in the al-Raml a-Filistini district of Syria’s biggest port Latakia. As they moved toward the town center, the two Syrian tank divisions and armored infantry were challenged by Palestinians firing heavy machine guns, anti-tank RPGs and roadside bombs. Nineteen of the 24 dead Sunday were Palestinians. 
debkafile’s military sources affirm that contrary to earlier reports, the Syrian missile ships cruising offshore took no part in the attack on Latakia. Their function is to blockade the port against arms smuggling. Nevertheless the weapons used by Palestinians fighting in Latakia Sunday came from Lebanon aboard smugglers’ boats. There are almost daily incidents of Syrian ships firing on suspect vessels.
NATO headquarters in Brussels and the Turkish high command are meanwhile drawing up plans for their first military step in Syria, which is to arm the rebels with weapons for combating the tanks and helicopters spearheading the Assad regime’s crackdown on dissent. Instead of repeating the Libyan model of air strikes, NATO strategists are thinking more in terms of pouring large quantities of anti-tank and anti-air rockets, mortars and heavy machine guns into the protest centers for beating back the government armored forces.

Since the Syrian air force would certainly shoot down air transports making the drops, the tendency is to get the weapons to their destination overland, namely through Turkey and under Turkish army protection by either of two routes: The Turkish plan drafted some months ago for establishing buffer zones inside the Syrian border, is one. The refugees from the battle zone would be given sanctuary there instead of crossing into Turkey and the protected enclaves would also serve as weapons distribution depots.
Alternatively, the arms would be trucked into Syria under Turkish military guard and transferred to rebel leaders at pre-arranged rendezvous.
NATO and Turkish military sources have declined to indicate when, how and by what means, the Syrian rebels, civilians with no experience in firearms, will receive the weapons.

debkafile’s military sources disclose that for the past two weeks, at least, Syrian protest leaders and army deserters have been training in the use of the new weapons with Turkish military officers at makeshift installations in Turkish bases near the Syrian border.

Also discussed in Brussels and Ankara, our sources report, is a campaign to enlist thousands of Muslim volunteers in Middle East countries and the Muslim world to fight alongside the Syrian rebels. The Turkish army would house these volunteers, train them and secure their passage into Syria.

These NATO plans were the underlying script for US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s call on unnamed nations Friday, August 12 to stop sending arms to Syria.

Our sources report she was referring to Russia which has stepped up its shipments of ammunition and tank spares in the last two weeks.

All the tanks the Syrian army is using to crush protest are made in Russia. Military sources in Washington Brussels would like to put a mechanism in place for counter-balancing the Syrian army’s hardware deliveries from Russia or Iran by Western supplies to the opponents of the Assad regime, turning the asymmetric contest into an arms race.

The IDF is taking extra precautions and preparing a firm but non-lethal response to any attempt to force the nation’s borders in the coming days, as Palestinians plan mass marches to mark Arab losses in the Six Day War.

IDF units have dug a barbed-wire-protected trench along the Golan Heights security fence at Majdal Shams, Israel Radio reported.

Residents of the Druse village have been instructed not to approach the fence, which some 100 Syrians crossed on May 15 in a dramatic cross-border breach.

Near Moshav Avivim, troops have fortified the border fence with Lebanon and set up new lookout posts, the radio station reported.

The IDF Northern Command has ordered soldiers on the Syrian and Lebanese borders to follow the usual rules of engagement before opening fire. They are instructed to shout warnings at protesters approaching the border, then, should those instructions be ignored, to fire warning shots in the air, a military source said on Wednesday.

If marchers continue to approach the fence, troops are ordered to direct nonlethal fire at their lower bodies, the source said.

“We could also use tear gas and stun grenades. But we won’t tolerate the idea that our international borders will become like Bil’in,” the source said.

Bil’in is a village near Modi’in Illit and the site of Friday protests in which the West Bank security barrier is routinely damaged.

“We are talking about protecting our international borders,” the source said. “We won’t let the other side get its wish and have 70 people killed…

We have no intention of letting Syria and Lebanon use these incidents to delegitimize Israel.”

An extensive campaign on Facebook and other Internet forums is calling for marches on Israel’s borders with Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Gaza, and for Arabs in Israel, the West Bank and Jerusalem to converge on the Aksa Mosque to declare their “allegiance” to the city. Three separate but similar rallies are planned for this Friday, Sunday and Tuesday, with Sunday – the anniversary of the war’s outbreak in 1967 – expected to draw the largest crowds.

An IDF officer told The Associated Press this week that the army would set “red lines” for demonstrators and would provide troops with crowd-control tools such as rubber bullets and water cannons to handle “life-threatening situations.”

The official said the army would be better equipped to handle protests than it was two weeks ago, when on “Nakba Day” – the annual Palestinian day of mourning over Israel’s creation – at least 10 people were killed on the Lebanese and Syrian borders while trying to enter the country.

The most active group organizing the rallies on “Naksa Day” – the day of the Arab “setback” in 1967 – calls itself Third Palestinian Intifada. The group’s Facebook page features a clock counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds beneath a banner reading “June 7.”

The page has been removed by Facebook several times for inciting violence, only to return under a slightly different name. Since going back up in April, the site has amassed some 375,000 followers.

Lebanon
Lebanon’s press has also been abuzz with plans for mass rallies. The pro- Syrian Ad-Diyar daily quoted organizers suggesting 100,000 people would participate in processions from refugee camps in Beirut, Sidon and Tyre to the village of Maroun al-Ras, the site of border clashes on this year’s “Nakba Day” that left more than 10 people dead.

As-Safir, a left-wing pan-Arab daily published in Beirut, reported that the Lebanese Army has no intention of allowing a repeat of last month’s disturbances.

“Senior military sources told As-Safir that the Lebanese Army has ‘good control of the border’ and will not allow anyone to tamper with security,” the paper said. Western sources said Maj.-Gen. Alberto Asarta, commander of the UNIFIL monitoring force in south Lebanon, would be traveling to Israel to discuss plans for dealing with the unrest, the paper reported.

UNIFIL spokesman Neeraj Singh told Beirut’s English-language Daily Star newspaper the force had no official confirmation so far about the march in its area of operations. He added that it was the Lebanese Army’s responsibility to secure the safety of protesters, “although we always stand ready to assist the LAF [the Lebanese Armed Forces], if they so request.”

A Lebanese military source told the paper the LAF might keep protesters from approaching the border altogether.

“The army has reservations about allowing protesters to reach the border,” he reportedly said. “We will not allow a repeat of what happened on Nakba Day, in terms of the killings of Palestinians.”

The same report quoted a senior Fatah commander in Lebanon saying a peaceful rally would proceed from the coastal town of Nakoura, across the border from Rosh Hanikra, to the Shi’ite village of Khiam, 4 km. north of Metull

Obviously war is being stepped up on the Jewish Homeland. By whom…there can only be one answer…by world anti-Semitism

The very first thing that must be done is that we on the side of the Jewish Homeland must form a United Front against this

 

Pamela Geller has noted that these anti-Semites in the world have had their inspiration from the election of Obama. This has nothing to do with the colour of the man’s skin, in fact blacks should be in alliance with Jews. It has to do with his politics, and his clear alliance with the forces of side of American politics, which is to use the Palestinian Arab issue to, and the forces around Palestinian Arab anti-Semitism.

 

Obama has come from the Khalidi/Edward Said/Pastor Wright area of American anti-Semitism

 

How this can be combatted…we have to start from fundamentals and ask what this “Palestinian Arab State” is all about.

 

To answer that question means that we have to be very familiar with this history, from 1920 onwards, especially 1948 and 1967.

There is no doubt that the Israeli state, Israeli leaders and Israeli get rich quick business opportunists were involved in the attack on South Ossetia by Georgia.

Also the whole of the Israeli Media and especially the Jewish American Blogs have been totally disgraceful in how they have systematically backed Saakashvili and promoted lies about the attack, essentially covering up for this Monster, who is an enemy of ordinary Georgians too.

They (these Jewish American and Canadian Blogs) have been slavish followers of US Imperialism, Bush, Rice, McCain and Obama. There is no doubt about this at all.

But remember this is NOT the Jewish people, the ordinary Jewish people of Israel or ordinary Jewish people in America and Diaspora.

Zionism is the right of all Jews to have a Homeland and no nation deserves this more.
